Nothing major new, but he does mention that Greg Grunberg (the Oceanic 815 Pilot) was filming the scene for the finale and another pilot will be introduced that episode as well.
Here you go:
Question: Lost scoop, pretty please? — Darren
Ausiello: An elaborate ******* scene was shot last week. And I hear all of the Ocean Six were present and accounted for.
Question: More Lost, please! — Tim
Ausiello: Guess who RSVP'd "Yes" to Locke's flashback episode on May 1? Nestor Carbonell! Meanwhile, my frenemy at E! Online is reporting that Greg Grunberg will reprise his role as Oceanic pilot Seth Norris in the two-hour season finale. Coincidentally, that same episode will feature the introduction of another pilot, a "young Top Gun type" who, per the casting sheet, doesn't like it when his copilot brings Lucky Charms onboard. Or was it a lucky charm? Eh, it was one of those two.

******* - funeral...
How are they gonna bring Greg into the finale?!? Unless it's some sort of recap of how everything went down, told by the O6?
Or... the O6 are rescued by him... he looked pretty damn dead once Smokey had finished with him, though. Maybe Smokey duplicated him before killing him - paving the way next season for Eko to return!
Can't wait for the finale - it's gonna be great.
And can I be the first one to say... I can't wait for season 5! Aaaarrrrggghhh I hate hiatus'. Why do you damn Americans hate TV so much during the summer months?
So when all the O6 are at Christian's funeral, is Hurley gonna look at the picture of him and go, "Dude, remember when we were on the island, well I saw your dad sitting in a rocking chair in the middle of a shack." Cue the LOST thud.
I got the 'funeral' too after one second and I am not the best here at speculations!
This is because we're badly spoiled
:D (pun intended)
Seth Norris is a manifestation of The Smoke Monster posing as Jacob, ha ha.
Dark owns Ausiello and Kristin. We know most of the stuff they post before hahaha!
Has anyone seen this?

As the last few episodes unfold, expect more focus on Locke and Jack. "They represent the two philosophical poles of the show," said Cuse. "The conflict between those guys is really the central conflict on our show. And there's a big culmination of that taking place in the season finale."
Also look for a resolution in the Jack/Kate/Sawyer drama. Obviously, Sawyer is not one of the Oceanic Six; Jack and Kate are. What happens in the finale "is all on the axis of the love triangle," said Lindelof. And nobody should dismiss Juliet. Anticipate more revelations about her increasingly affectionate relationship with Jack in the May 1 episode.
The eccentric bunch of newcomers known as the Freighter Folk aren't about to sail off into the sunset either. Because they got shortchanged this year, the writers plan to explore their back-story in depth next season.
Seth Norris might possible appear in a Frank Lapidus flashback during the finale.
They might not be shown flying the 8-15 plane, but another one.
Brownie
This sounds to be like stuff from the teleconference, Star Bulletin was probably one of those listening.
Golden: i think you're right, i noticed it's very similar to Doc Jensen's article! Thank you :)
Well, I'm hoping for a resolution in the triangle. It's been going on for way too long as it is. Obviously Kate finally picks Jack, which is fine by me.
What if the funeral belongs to Jin? Everybody says that it belongs to CS, but what if it is for Jin?
Maybe the season finale shows how O-6 got rescued and came back to the real world, and they began to obey a story that Ben or somebody made up for O-6.
The funeral is a memorial service for the people who died on 815.
Not to be confused with who is in the coffin, they are separate funerals.
No I'm not talking about the man in the coffin, I'm talking about the funeral, which all the members of O-6 attend.

It has been posted elsewhere on this site that the funeral is for Christiain Shepherd. (Dark pls feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
It's going to be one hell of a funeral when Christian isn't dead.

Well, then, how did the O-6 find the corpse of Christian is a big question, if that's him in that coffin at the funeral (I'm again not talking about the coffin that we saw in S03 finale).
Who is this new "Top Gun type" pilot?? Perhaps HE flys the O6 off of the island??
So we have a Christian funeral in the finale, AND we find out who is in the coffin? Hopefully?
im sorry am i hearing the that the triangle is finishing? If so im deadly pleased - more locke is always good.

Here's the link to the article on this site from last week.
I also have confirmation that it's Christian Shephard's funeral.
Dark, if it's not cool to post this here please delete.
The Seth Norries thing probably has a connection to Frank Lapidus too, we're supposed to be seeing more of him :)
@gokhan - Just because they are having a funeral or memorial service for CS, doesn't mean they have his body in the casket.
how can the pilot seth norris be in the finale. when the o6 are rescued.
so i guess only selected few can literally fly into the forcefield of the island. frank lapidus was supposed to fly the plane, so either the plane was rigged to be able to fly directly into the thunder head, or seth norris is special like lapidus. what if it wasnt an accident that 815 crashed on island like ben says. what if he sent seth norris to fly directly into the thunder cloud. but then desmond not pushing the button also comes into play so thats real confusing.
but widmore hired lapidus to fly onto the island as if he knew he would be able to. someone had to know seth would be able to also, as well as this new pilot. the o6 are gonna need this new pilot in order to return to the island.
wonder who replaced lapidus with seth norris the day of the flight?
^
Probably someone who knew what the hell kinda pilot Lapidus was and that he would more than likely have landed the plane in one piece ;)
i am going with the theory that frank lapidus either on or off island is about to do something stupid with the belief that it's the right thing (this is the guy that thinks widmore is merely trying to blow the lid off the 815 coverup and get answers to the public) and the pilot, his buddy, appears to tell him not to do it. or the pilot, greg grunberg just appears out of nowhere and gives lapidus instructions. either way it's the island or smokie and not a pilot clone.
Funeral... yawn...
Please, Ausiello, you'll have to wake up earlier than that to make an effective puzzle for us.
