This is a little note to people about spoilers here at DarkUFO as some newer visitors keep emailing me.
1) Spoilers here cannot be guaranteed to be 100% accurate. We do our best to confirm things but it's not always possible due to
a) Set reports are from people who cannot always be sure of exactly what they have seen. They report their interpretation of the events they have witnessed, nothing more
b) They are shooting out of sequence so some reports to episode numbers cannot always be 100% verified
c) The Lost team are well aware of sites like this and do their best to confuse and put out false leaks.
2) I can only post what my sources allow me. I'm not deliberately holding anything back that I have. As soon as my sources allow me I post them.
3) A lot of the time I'm just as in the dark as you with some of the teasers/hangman games etc. I've not been given the answers myself, so don't email me asking me.
4) I don't have access to any scripts etc, I rely totally on my sources for their information.
5) I'm in the UK and don't watch the set reports myself.
So please stop asking me in the comments and via email for the "inside scoop". What you see on this site is everything I have and I'm allowed to post :)

Nice post, Dark.
Unfortunately human nature seems to leave us with folks that look a gift horse in the mouth.
But most of us greatly appreciate what crumbs your sources allow you to release to us and thank you for your hard work. I, for one, think give you a big thumbs up.
Now how about starting a section on AMC's "The Prisoner" to keep us busy?
I am grateful for the little I get from the spoilers, and I think that little bit is way too much as it is, I need to restrain myself! LOL. People actually want more?
Yes thank you very much for everything you have given us. To the greedy ones out there, stop your complaining, we could be sitting through this whole hiatus without any word(other then comic-con I suppose) on what the new season is about.
Dark, I really like your site and understand your above post.
But saying things like "everything ... I'm allowed to post" makes people think you know more, which we all know is probably true but if it's necessary to keep secrets to keep sources then I don't understand why people are complaining.

LOL-If he did that, I doubt he'd have any sources much longer!
Don't you guy's get it, He obviously has an "Insider Source" (Those are the most reliable kind by the way), if you don't just believe him, without him revealing his "Insider Source" then oh well go sit on your thumb or go read another site.
We are very lucky that we get what we get, it is apparent to me (and should be to all) that his "source" could get canned (Fired) for leaking out some of the stuff that we get here. That is the reason why he will refuse to reveal his source, he has a responsibility not to get his source fired for two very good reasons, 1) whoever it is is apparently friends with Dark, and you just don't get friends fired. 2) If he revealed his source and got him fired then we might as well kiss the spoiler section goodbuy as far as "Insider spoilers" go.
Just take what is fed to you, if you are still hungry go search for more, but I dare say that you won't find any better place for spoilers as far as LOST goes than here!
As far as I'm concerned this is "THE PLACE" for LOST spoilers and there is no other, (Well ODI is great too, but he shares everything with Dark so...)

I can't even imagine this mans "inbox", he puts this out and people are now asking for his "source".
There is a tab at the top that says "spoiler tv", clicking on that will give you a list of all the networks. From there you can find your favorite TV shows (including The Prisoner) where you'll likely find tidbits and spoilers of other shows.
Spoilers are a privilege for people like me, so want not waste not. Whatever Dark posts is awesome, and if I were him I would ask nothing more!

I do have one question, though. I don't quite understand the spoiler games (like hangman and guessing stuff) and rationed spoilers where you gradually reveal the information over a few days as the source incrementally allows it. It's not that I don't appreciate or enjoy them, but it doesn't seem like the behavior of a shady source who covertly acquired some information. I would expect those people to be excited and want to show off how great their info is. I would think those kind of people would just spill the beans. The rationed information would make much more sense for an official outlet that wants to keep the fans engaged in the off-season and maximize the duration of entertainment per spoiler. Is my reasoning on this is sound, Dark?

I've been coming here since about the end of season 3 and what I've gathered is, Dark's source likes to keep a low profile, and spreading out spoilers over time helps him or her do so. I think the hangman challenge is just there for overall fun and to bring the community together in a fun manner.

Well, on the other hand, taking into account that the LOST producers had started their project with a strong connection to the fan base on the internet via The Fuselage - how about if they'd actually be so clever and manage to turn the tables? I guess it would be a cool thing for the producers to protect their work by letting inside sources spoil some completely misleading information on episodes. Now that would be a surprise for the spoilaholics, eh? *lol*

So why are you commenting, and if it's not for commenting them why even read the comments that you think are so lame? Most of the comments are in agreement with Dark, and how he runs his spoiler section. The lame ones are the ones that feel the need to e-mail or request special access from Dark or think that Dark should go posting his sources all over here, when we know this site has stood the test if time as far as LOST websites go and we know that Dark's sources are proven to be right on every year, that is what is lame, but what is really lame is you coming on here and saying how lame everybody is for making comments, it's worse than lame, it's totally immature and very childish and by the way I'm from Bama, and if you actually are too, you are not representing very well, Bamafanchris08.
Dark, you are doing a bang-up job! Would not have made it through the past several hiatus' without you. Your dedication is without equal, and I hope this remains THE spot for Lostians...well...for as long as people watch Lost!

Thanks everyone, I really was not expecting any comments here but thanks for all the support and kind words.
To answer a few questions.
1) Yes I know more than I have posted as I've stated that I'm not allowed to reveal certain things until my sources feel comfortable that they can be released.
2) As to questions about hangman/teasers etc these are all from different sources. I have around 15-20 contacts from various aspects of the show eg set, crew, production, marketing, scripts, designers etc etc Some of them like to just release teasers, some like to release via hangman games. These are all dictated by the various sources and not me.
3) From all I have seen next season is going to be great, albeit somewhat confusing :)
4) I'm sure that some of the stuff we have posted are slightly incorrect or even the odd foiler but we try very hard to verify across multiple sources etc. The hardest ones are filming reports which can be confusing as there is no context for the scene for the people watch them.
5) And no, you don't want to see my inbox, it's chaos lol
It will be interesting to see after Lost is over how many foilers have actually crept in to the spoilers section. My guess is that it's a lot less than people think :)
There were a bunch of odd foilers for season 5 finale if I remember correctly, I think one involved Sun's daughter and Aaron being in the future, another was with Widmore and Desmond landing a helicopter on the island, at the time they sounded pretty cool and we ate them up, but I'm much more happier with the real season 5 finale, heh.
