As you may have noticed in the recent Set Photos one of the names on one of the trailers was that of a Detective Rasmussen.

Looking back at some of the casting notices that I'm not allowed to post publicly in full I can confirm that Detective Rasmussen is an investigator who makes a visit to the Hospital that Claire and Kate are in from the previous set reports. The detective may be there to investigate Kate.

Thanks to Carry and David for the heads up.

Recent Emmy winner Michael Emerson — just one the Losties who talked to us recently about the show's sixth and final season — promises it will resolve some but not all of fans' questions.

"I don't know if they'll be fully satisfied or not," Emerson says. "I don't know if we want to be fully satisfied. I think it's always best to go away wanting a little more."

You can forgive Emerson for being as enigmatic as his character, Ben Linus. But in interviews with TVGuide.com, his castmates (including Jorge Garcia, Daniel Dae Kim, and Terry O'Quinn) did clarify three things that have nagged us since the fifth-season finale in May:

1. Yes, the bomb exploded. "Basically a bomb went off at the end of the last one and all bets are off," Garcia said. Adds Kim: "At the end of last season there was a big explosion." Of course, neither of them guaranteed that the bomb was Jughead, but we'll just assume it was to keep our heads from spinning.

2. We haven't seen the last of Juliet. A well-placed source tells us Elizabeth Mitchell, who plays the tragic doctor, just flew back from shooting in Hawaii and that she may return there to shoot again.

3. But we probably have seen the last of Libby. "It looks like we're probably not going to see Libby," Garcia says. "They'll probably deal with the story, but [actress Cynthia Watros, who plays Libby] may not be joining us."

Of course, the world of Lost is full of few constants and many variables. But whatever the writers have planned is worthy of the show's past secrets and reveals, O'Quinn promises: "When I read the first script, it's the first time in the whole series that I said, 'Wow, that's amazing,'" he said.

What Lost mysteries do you most want to see resolved when Season 6 begins in 2010?

Another Set Report

Here is another report from my good and "colourful" friend on the island "Le Point d'Exclamation".

Hey Andy you old dog. You wont f*%king believe this but ive managed to snag some new filming intel/reports/scoops for ya! I know, no bloody word from me for months and now 2 in a few days. It's all f*^%king confusing as it's all very disjointed as the sly ol' dogs appear to be shooting out of sequence. These are from various days/shoots that I've learned about and I've no bleedin idea what episode they are from. i could not see any of those clapperboards or whatever you call them, around to make out episodes, directors or stuff. plus my eyesight is pretty damn knackered these days and i dont want to get any binos and look like some crazy stalker dude although it will come in use for checking out the birds on the beach!

filming appears to be back on the "normal" island timeline following on from the s5 finale and I managed to see Jack, Kate, Claire, Miles, Sayid filming.

Those other set and contruction reports that you've been posting are correct and it pretty large and impressive and it is the temple which is in the jungle. here is some stuff that I managed to see and findout about. Ive no blinkn' idea wot is going on but you and the fans might

We still see that Sayid is recoving from his gunshot wound, he must have been bleedin for 4 months ha must have good blood bank!, covered in blood still. Hurley is still damn big but a top bloke! seems the nicest one on the set by a long way!

Everyone else is covered in dirt, muck and other shit and all those funky dharma jumpsuits appear to be gone. not sure what happened to them. didnt like to ask the big smelly security guard as he munched on some hugely greasy baloni roll!

The next part is pretty confusing and Ive no idea what I saw but will try to explain it as best I can. our losties appear to be attacked by what I can only describe as "other" others. These other others dont look quite like what we have become accustomed to as their clothing is pretty different.looks a lot darker and lots of red, seems almost Asian or ethnic, and in fact seems quite "piraty" as some have banadas (spelling? not bananas yu fckers!!!!) on and they are all carry guns. I could not see what the guns were like if they were new or old but they look long.

They seemed to be filming a big bloody fight sequence between our losties and these crazy pirate like others. Sawyer grabs a gun and someone gets shot and he goes into the temple.
Jack tends to sayids wound and is then being carried by 2 or more people, jack and kate appear to hug/kiss or something and hold hands but it was hard to make out all the detail.

The filming then broke went inside and I could not see what was going on but it seems that the losties have been captured and taken inside the temple. that is just my speculation but i chatted to this spotty kid with huge king lears later who said the same thing.

at this point i had to bugger off home as the strife wanted to go out to some crappy restaurant but you gotta keep the little lady happy!plus i cant stand all that romantic shipper bollocks stuff so if they were about to start shooting some romance stuff it was a good time to leave.

but i can report a bit more from later on as my friend on the set was able to give me a bit of a low down but I am not giving you his name as those crazy lost fans will get him sacked or "bumped off".

then later they filmed another scene where 2 guys who he thinks might be important come out. One is some Asian dude with longblack hair who looked like something out of the Pirates of the bleedin Carribean. the other guy looked very distinctive, white , facial hair, looked like some sort of hippie dude. He was far too far away to see who it actually was but it could have been that Horace goodspeed or whatever or maybe even that scientist bloke from those crazy scratched dharma films DeGroot or whatever his name was.

thats all i have and if i get some more I'll shoot you an alexei

Update: 28th September Thanks to Marisa for the heads up on this which seems to confirm things that were recently posted in the Rumours section.

I believe that's Rob McElhenney from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - he played Aldo on Lost.

Thanks to Erik for the following.

Preston and Steve Morning Show WMMR Philadelphia

The Preston and Steve morning show on 93.3 WMMR are friends with the cast of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, starring Rob McElhenney. The cast of IASIP was in Philadelphia last night to perform their musical "The Night Man Cometh." This morning, Preston revealed that, while speaking with Rob McElhenney, who played Aldo in "Not In Portland," was given the script for Lost to make at least one appearance in the final season. This comes almost straight from the horses mouth. The only way to verify would be to get a quote from Rob himself.

Ian Somerhalder Interview

Thanks to Annie for the heads up of this interview with Ian Somerhalder in which he replies a few questions about his reapperance on Lost:

You recently took a trip to Hawaii to shoot Lost. How was it being back?
It was really nice to be back. It was very quick, and it was a lot of fun to see everyone, to be back on the set, and to see the island, even if it was just for a few hours.

Were you surprised to hear that Boone would be back on the show?
Initially, yes, I was surprised. And then I was thrilled and grateful to Damon [Lindelof], and I think it’s neat that they have a lot of people going back. It’s going to be a really powerful thing for the story. And it was very strange putting on wardrobe stuff that I’d worn literally five years ago.

Is there anything at all you can tell us about what to expect?
It is so secretive. I wouldn’t want to say something that jeopardizes in any way, shape, or form the secrecy and integrity of what they’re trying to keep off-the-radar. I think Damon would come after me with a machete.

Hey All,
Just got a tip from one of our inside sources that actor Alan Dale will be in Hawaii in a week or two to film some scenes for Season 6.

I know this is nothing too shocking as I am sure most of us expected to see him again.

However, it is still good to hear he will be filming scenes soon!

Set Report

Here is another set report from one of my good friends and sources on the island called "Le Point d'Exclamation". As you can tell his language is quite "colourful" but there are a few good bits in there.

hey mate long time but I have some cool scoop for ya you wanker ha! the trouble and strife took the dustbin lids away for the a week to see the ol' grannies and it gave me time to look for some lost filming info.
and fuck me I found a shed load of info! post this whole message but dont let those crazy bastards know my name RIGHT!

here is the lowdown. that aussie bird claire is stuffed up with pillows or some shit to make here look very preggers and she is in the taxi with kate. A taxi pulls up with them both in to the hospital.

Then a nurse who looked pretty hot from where I was stalking them rushes out with a wheelchair to take fat claire into the hospital, I think she's about to drop.
The funny thing was the first take the clumbsy nurse tripped over and they had to do another take. silly cow lol

kate then grabs clairs handbag which she left in the cab and goes into the hospital after them. they would not let me into the place the sly bastards.

I hung around a bit to see if they did some more and kate comes out and sits on the front of the car. I was too far away at this point to see if this was filming or jsut her having a sit down.

I had a chat with one doctor/actor dude who was eating a sandwich for lunch outside and it seemed that they were filming the delivery in there so she has the baby. this is the 3rd time we've seen her drop the sprog lol. must be knackerign for her!

They were going to shoot more but i was dying for a piss and the security guards kept looking at me strangly!
no photos dark dude as my f$%$king iphone is bust up but i saw some small dude take some so he might send them unless the security guards took care of him

Hey All,
Here is a small but interesting set report from today's filming at the sub dock confirming a scene with Sawyer and Kate.

Thanks to Wayfinder for the following details:

Kate and Sawyer were doing a scene together at the end of the dock today at Kualoa Gardens. We watched them for a good 40 minutes, but we were too far away to hear anything. All I can tell you is, it was definitely present day and it was on the island. This is interesting since they supposedly landed in LAX safe and sound.

Nothing too revealing but still cool to see!

Thanks to Wayfinder for the pics.

Here are a couple of small snippets of filming, not really spoilery.

Thanks to Annie for finding this one.

Filming all night at Secret Island at Kualoa Ranch, next to the mac nut farm place. They were there when I drove to Crouching Lion around 6pm and still there just now when I drove back by again

Source: LikaNui@Hawaii Threads

Thanks to DarkUFO reader Dane for the following.

So unfortunately I was not able to get any pictures, but I did hear some interesting information from some of the employees at the Kualoa Ranch.

First, one of the drivers for the Hummer tours told me that the Lost crew had begun to construct up the Sub set this morning and that they would be filming tomorrow from 11am-6pm! He said that on one of the earlier morning Hummer tours he gave the dock was empty, but that by afternoon they had already finished the set. He showed me pictures that he had taken this morning showing the dock empty, and then pictures from this afternoon with the Submarine at the end of the dock.

Second, I overheard a couple of employees saying that they saw Sun this morning and got a picture of her on their cell phone. One employee then showed the other employee his cell phone and she said "Yeah, thats definitely Sun!". They didnt realize I was listening to them :)

Im not sure why Sun would have been there this morning if the crew was just "setting up", and they werent filming until tomorrow? Very strange.

Hey All,
LOST Fan Carmel who is visiting the island decided to see what she could see of the temple set and headed to Diamond Head studios. She was able to get a glimpse of the exterior walls but it is now looking like it is ready for filming any day so we should expect to see the temple early in the season!

Also, spotted out on the studio lot were part of the Sub again and the Santa Rosa sign missing some letters. Of course these props could just be sitting there for storage and not being used yet.

Thanks to Carmel for sending over the pics!

Also, our good friend Ryan in Hawaii scored a couple of more set pics from the airport filming scenes, as it seems like a fan (named Geronimo) was able to get pics of Matthew Fox (Jack) and Evangeline Lilly (Kate) chatting between takes and a pregnant Emilie De Ravin (Claire).

Here are some pics and head over to Hawaii Blog to find some more!

Update: 10:00 Thanks to The ODI who has scooped the first photo of pregnant Claire!

NOTE: Evangeline Lilly was in the driver seat of the cab again.

Hey All,
The LOST cast and crew have been busy once again at Honolulu Intl Airport. If you have kept up to speed on the previous spoilers then you know this is the LAX (Los Angeles Intl airport) set.

Thanks to several LOST fans and Roxy for the following tidbits of the ongoing filming.

Of course since filming is still occurring please keep checking back for updates, but this is what we know so far:

1) Apparently a taxi cab that appears to have been in an accident was spotted on set along with LAPD police cars and several officers as well. This was all spotted just outside the airport. Maybe all of the police is there to find Kate?

2) The scenes being filmed inside were at the Intl Arrivals where Jack is in a suit, a very pregnant Claire, Kate and Dr. Arzt were all spotted leaving the airport.

3) Kate and Claire share a cab and there is indeed a driver. So how we connect this tobthe previous filming of Kate driving the cab perhaps they shake the driver or the cab with a dent is connected??

We hope to have some more details later and maybe if we are lucky some pics!

UPDATE: Thanks to Ryan from Hawaii for the update that it seems like Kate was the driver of the cab and this new set pic.

UPDATE: Thanks to TV Overmind for the following details that "Jenny" is actually actress Jenni Blong from True Blood. I have added an image of her below.

Hey All,
The LOST crew and cast were at it again this week and the scene being filmed seems to be a continuation of the Kate Taxi Cab Scene from the airport.

We had reports of Emilie De Ravin on the Airport set and well it seems like her character Claire has decided to share a cab with Kate.

The big questions are of course WHY and do they remember or know each other!?

Thanks to our friend Ryan in Hawaii who posted a new set report from a fan named Carrie who was able to watch filming with both Kate and Claire reaching the home of what seems like the future parents of Aaron in LA!!

There are some key spoilers here so do NOT read unless you want to know:

The woman (who was called Jenny on set) answers the door and this is what Carrie witnessed:

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry,” she says. “I really wanted this. But my husband… I just can’t have the baby right now.”

There’s anguish. And awkwardness. They’re not invited inside. But after a few more words are exchanged, it’s Claire’s turn to cry out. She cringes, and bends over, apparently and suddenly going into labor.

“Call a doctor!” Kate urges.

Update: 19:40 Our good friend The ODI has managed to snag a few photos from this set.

In the photos, you will see:

- A weird staircase that they were still building
- An archway that I have never seen before on the show
- Some old pilars with symbols on it.
- Some new pillars which i have never seen on the show before, I am assuming these new things including the staircase and the archway, have something to do with the Temple that we haven't seen yet, or maybe the 4 toed statue.
- The pillar that Locke's dad was tied to when Ben wanted Locke to kill him in season 3, i believe the episode was called The Brig.
- The well that Locke went down during the episode This Place is Death (season 5), which lead him to the frozen donkey wheel.
- The Hatch Door.
- The Submarine.
- Plane windows for either 815 or Ajira 316.

You can see more on his site here.

Thanks to one of my contacts, "The Man in Black Buttons", on the island who ran into a friend of his who works on local set productions. I've since confirmed this report with other contacts on the island that this was indeed for Lost.

"Hey, recently had to work a gig at [removed]. Nearby, they were constructing sets for local productions. They were working on what looked like a giant Egyptian temple with a big staircase. Looked very cool. Talked to some of the guys and they said they couldn't tell me what it was for, but when I asked about Lost, they glanced around and smiled. Awesome guys, very cool, so don't want to say too much more, but this set looks like it's going to be a big piece in the new season."

Update: 13:00 Looks like Ausiello screwed up and this is in fact for Episode 6.03.

Want to hazard a guess at the title?

According to Ausiello from EW it seems like we will get some Kate Centric action this season in Episode 6x06. Of course, the Kate episodes always seem to be the least liked episodes among fans, so it will be interesting to see how this episode holds up against other episodes.

Here is the full post from Ausiello:

Another Small Filming Update - Jughead to Appear Again?

UPDATE: Carmel confirmed the Jughead tower is up again. Two weeks ago when I was there I did not see it!

Hey All,
Here is the latest report from a fan that is in Hawaii, took a LOST tour and seems to have heard some potential filming updates.

Thanks to Carmel for the following details:

Just wanted to let you know that I did the 5 hrs tour and when we went to the location of the Dharma submarine dock, our guide was surprised they stretched it open. he was on the same tour in the morning and the dock was folded. he was positive it meant that the LOST crew will be filming at the dock this very week.

From the evidence that's been gathering here, the new season's new way of story telling happens somehow on all the sets we've ever known - there will still be showing Dharma, Jacob incident, LAX in the past, and Ryan (from Hawaii) said he heard many of the locations around the island are being set up again. We even saw that the Jughead instalment remained and our guide again thought it means it'll be used again. What do you think?

Thanks to one of our guys in the know, "Chinese Chicken" who has provided this brief but spoilery set report. This pretty much confirms a lot of what we've been hearing up to now.

Hey mate, got a friend who was lucky enough to play an extra for some recent Lost filming. My friend for obvious reasons couldn't say anything direct, but I can pass some onto you and your site. My mate was on an inflight airplane set!. Buddy has never seen the show before, so tried to get as much as I could based on descriptions (and my guesses).

The plane resembles flight 815 and get this mate, on it were Jack, Kate (in cuffs) and with some guy (the marshall? unconfirmed), Sayid, flight attendant lady (Cindy? I think he means), and CHARLIE!!!! Could have been more but that's all my friend could describe. Everyone was in precrash clothing!. Can't say what happened except it looks like Charlie has accident (overdoses?) in the loo. Reset? Alt-Timeline who knows LOL!

Katey Sagal Returns
View Comments

Bookmark and Share

Thanks to Marisa for the heads up that it appears that Katey Sagal (Helen) will also be returning for season 6.

Sons of Anarchy star Katey Sagal hasn't been seen on Lost since 2006, although last season it seemed her character had passed away when John Locke (Terry O'Quinn) was seen paying a visit to the grave of his supposed late girlfriend, Helen Norwood. Well, Katey has just won herself a
return trip to Hawaii to reprise the role -- an opportunity Katey told me in July she was hoping for. Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse exclusively confirmed the news to me at the Sept. 13 Malibu Triathlon fundraiser for the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Cuse, who biked in the event that raised over $1 million, spied another former cast member, Julie Bowen, among the other competitors and told me he'd also like to find a way to bring her back as Jack's ex-wife, Sarah, in the upcoming final season. This came as exciting news to Julie. "Do it, Carlton!," screamed the actress. "What's stopping you?"

Now a series regular on the new ABC sitcom Modern Family, Bowen has already plotted out a return scenario in her head. "The last time you saw Sarah, she was pregnant with another man's child," she says. "But I would pitch that it was actually Jack's baby and Jack's found out and it's somehow important to whatever is happening on the island."

(By the way, I heard that what's happening in season six is even more whacked-out than last season's time jumping plot.)

Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder has already shot his return scene as Boone. Yay! The only former cast member Carlton wouldn't discuss? Harold Parrineau. "I cannot yet confirm or deny whether he will be back on the show this year."

Aw c'mon, Carlton. We know he will.

How do you feel about this latest round of returns? And who else do you hope to see before the series signs off in May 2010?

# Inside the terminal, Kate (Evangeline Lilly) was in the handcuffed custody of The Marshall (Fredric Lehne). Meanwhile, Jack (Matthew Fox) emerges, passing a passport station, and appears to head for the exit… but then turns back.
# Kate, now mysteriously loose, passes and exchanges a passing “hey” with Hurley (Jorge Garcia), and heads out of the baggage claim and onto the street. She jumps the line at the taxi stand, and someone yells at her as she gets in a cab. According to a message board post, the angry guy is none other than Neil, a.k.a. “Frogurt” (Sean Whalen).
# Kate jumps into a cab, as The Marshall emerges from the building with a head injury. He runs to security guards waving a piece of paper with a picture, telling them to keep an eye out for Kate. Noticing the cab, he runs after it.

On Wednesday, my good friend Mitchell found the “LOST” production trucks off Nimitz Highway near Fisherman’s Wharf. The crew apparently returned to Pier 2 (the Foreign Trade Zone), which also served as an airport interior in the Season 5 premiere. Apart from that, the rest of the week appears to have been spent behind closed doors at the Hawaii Film Studio.
