I think the final episode will be called "The End". Or maybe "Up In Smoke". Because the only possible ending for the series will have to include the destruction of the Island -- if I'm right about the ultimate motives of those involved.

BTW was there a code name for the climatic scene (or scenes) of the last episode of Season Five? What was it?

Filming starts tomorrow, right? Various dates have been mentioned. But the most recent one I heard, was when Jorge Garcia recently said he was set to start filming on the 24th.

Anyway, does anyone remember approximately how long it took last year, before some good spoilers started rolling in?

Part of me wants to go spoiler-free for the first time since season 2. But that's just unrealistic. Five months is far too long to wait. :p By then, I don't even know for sure that I'll have the luxury of tuning in every single week. :(

I needs to know what's gonna happen ASAP! :p

I know it won't happen, but I would like to see a 3 hour series finale. I mean, it's the end of the show! Three hours would allow the plot line to be very epic and feel like a journey worth taking to reach the end. The could also put the last two episodes on the same day, in essence keeping it to a 3 hour block...

I want to know why Jack hacked open his dad's coffin in season 1 and found no body, but now we have a Fake Locke and the Locke Body still around. In season 3 though, I remember Yemi's body disappeared from the plane so this all seems inconsistent...

I've been watching seasons 1-3 again over the last couple weeks. It's very interesting when the hard rain starts or Smokey appears. Both seem to happen very purposely. It's in my opinion that Jacob & Anti-Jacob can both summon Smokey (a separate entity) to advance their own game plan. Just like how Ben was able to summon Smokey himself against Keamy's crew. Think of Jacob & Anti-Jacob as participants in a game, the island as the playing board, 815ers as game pieces, and Smokey is a sort of limited "special move".

The Others' entire storyline for the entirety of season 3 revolved almost solely around fertility and then they never really dove into it.

They have shown that conceiving on-island and giving birth on-island (ala Sun) won't kill you.

And that conceiving off-island and giving birth on-island will result in no problems (ala Claire)

They've also shown that Ethan was born just fine (I assume he was conceived on-island).

Which means something happened that made babies unable to be born if both conceived and given birth on-island (or Ethan was conceived off-island).

The question is why and, if Ethan conceived on-island, when it changed.

That's a very interesting thing and I really hope the writers take an episode and explain it.
