who is the guy in the 2nd pic, Locke?
no it's pickett who looks for kate and sawyer.
Looks like a basement that Kate/Sawyer probably hide in - would go Kate knocking an Other out right outside a building that has been seen in previous promos?
There's has already been a rumor floating around that charlie finds a busted up car on the island so I would assume that is the car (the shot is taken from inside the car itself) and it looks like lock is walking around it with his gun raised.
I know Bei Ling and the older lady Bucharest are referring to Jack's tattles, its a bit wird though. I bet Jack has no idea what Bei Ling's character wrote on those tattoos, and she made it apparent when she said something about "those people". and then the Older Lady asking Jack about if he knew what they meant (assuming she's still refereeing to the tatooes)
Alls ims sayings, is that the tattoos are more significant then we think?
I always asumed it wasn't that important for the over all story of the show and island.
What's the question after 'I can see who people are'?

That's definitely Locke and it does look like it's from in a car. Did you notice too that ion the following shot, when Locke's lying down he's looking to his side? My first thought, with the rumour about the car, that he's lying on the bonnet and can see someone inside....maybe not Charlie.....

Juliet is rubbing her wrists. She was probably hand-cuffed or tied up, which would jibe with the rumor that she goes on trial. And that is what Cindy, etc. are there to watch.

Where are people pulling that Juliets sister is Jacob. When talking about Alex, they kept refering to her a my child, or child. All takes about Jacob have been HIM.
Well, i personally think Jacob as a woman is ridiculous, but how do we know when Pickett said "Jacob's list" he wasn't saying "Jacobs's list"? Jacobs could quite easily be the surname of this character.

As much as people have dissected that statement I would think the difference between Jacobs's and Jacob's would have been teased out but certainly nothing wrong with Jacob being a surname too! (Instead of Jacobs) Say something like Margaret Jacob or something...
I thought these people were ridiculous too thinking Jacob was a woman but your point certainly threw this possibility back into the mix and a good plot twist indeed (since probably many others think Jacob is male). BTW do we know for SURE that Jacob and HIM are one in the same? I don't recall that I've ever seen a connection on the show just craploads of speculation here on the boards that Jacob is HIM. Could be two different characters entirely.
hey darkUFO, that older woman from the others is NOT juliet's sister, they don't even look alike, and are clearly not the same age! her sis will be in the flashbacks from before juliet arrived on the island. and lindelof hinted that HIM is indeed jacob, and i seriously doubt it's a woman, and i seriously doubt that we'll even see jacob this season.
Anyone ever consider HIM as an acronym for something else? Like all the letters for H.I.M. have an individual meaning? Much like DHARMA became known as an acronym

Anon: You're correct, with all these spoilers I confused myself. We don't yet know who this new woman is but she is played by Diana Scarwid. Her info is on the spoilers page.
Apparently, Hurley finds a car on the Island. I think in one of the trailers, he is actually driving it.
Well I think that That woman being Jacob is silly. Jacobs could be her last name, but the others do not and have not referred to themselves with their surnames (their home is not PRISON life , least I don't think) Pickett calls Juliet "Jules" and Juliet calls Ben "Ben" and Ben calls Juliet "Juliet", so its safe to assume Jacob is the first name of HIM and HIM is a man.
Also a little tidbit for people interested, in Episode 1 of season 3, that older lady that comes to Juliet's door when she burns her fingers taking out her muffins IS Juliet's Mom, as you can see how concerned she is for Juliet.
Bai Ling seems to be able to read people more so than most, to find out if someone is Bad or Good has does bad things or not.

Diana Scarwid, DID play the sexually repressed woman who T-Bag tries to seduce, instead she uses him in an attempt to get Lincoln Burrows in her bed, on Prison Break. And she did portray Christina Crawford in Mommie Dearest (a truly disturbing book and movie).

When i was watching a season 2 episode (i think the one where jack is going into the hatch for the first time) with the commontary on, one of the commontators mention jack's tatoo and basicall state that none of the viewers have been asking a lot about the tatoo at that point. So, i've been waiting to find out what it means and have tried to find good clips of it on previous episodes. Dark, could you post a good pic of his tattoo? Has anyone heard anything about what it means, i.e. is it a type of brand? Thanks - jess

I know it's a reach, but it sort of surprised me that they never mentioned her last name, even though they mention Colleen Picket, Dan Picket and Ben Linus. When she was trying to befriend Jack, don't you think that would come up. Like I said, I know it's a reach, but just a thought.
Maybe we will find out what Juliet's last name is in the up coming episode 'Not In Portland?'
lol I think that J. Cobb is taking it just a weeeeeeeeeee bit too far. Unless she is J.Lo, chances are people who know Juliet do not refer to her as such. (that'd be funny tho) ~Nick
