The interview lasted about 15 minutes and it was quite funny - she seems to be really nice and down to earth. The reason for the interview is that she is doing a charity campaign along with Addenbrookes Hospital for Breast Cancer Awareness.
She is about 10-11 hours behind and she was giving the interview at 10:30pm Hawaii time and she said she was in her pyjamas, in bed. She was born in Cambridge in 1977 and began her career as a model until she was able to go into acting. She did several series in the US and a few movies as well.
They talked about her life and about the campaign a bit more and then the interviewer introduced Sam, The Baker, which is supposedly Cambridge Biggest Lost Fan. He had three questions for her:
- Characters sometime appear or meet before they were on the island. Does your character interact with someone outside the island?
NO
- Are you one of the Others or one of the passenger of Flight 815?
NEITHER
- I heard that Michael is coming back but what about Walt?
I think Michael is indeed coming back this season but I am not sure about Walt.
She goes on to say that she did not watch Lost before but when she was hired she got the DVDs and watched them non-stop and now she is hooked. She said that one day she was sitting on a chair on location having a cup of tea and then all of them came out of the jungle and she was all excited "OMG it's them!" and they were really nice "Welcome to Lost Rebecca" and one day she was filming and she was lying down in the forest and looked up and they were there and she still could not believe that she is a part of it.
