Man... less then a week to go, im gettin so pumped up just watchin these lil bits. Looks like hurley does have some kinda run in with jacob, i cant wait to hear captures of the whispers around the shack.

The videos are 1:30 minutes long, but I can't see after %80 or 81 in any of them. For example, mine stops when Hurley finds that house-place and hears whisperings.

Okay, yay for you Hurley chucking that walkie in the first clip and yay for you Sayid for speaking up to Juliet about why they shouldn't let Jack know via the walkie (and screw you Juliet, you're not always right); it was VERY hard to see the second one but even from the emotion in Hurley's voice talking about Charlie I choked up and it was way creepy him coming upon Jacob's shack (that was what it was in the second one right?); and omg at the third one, Hurley talking about Charlie.....I'm seriously going to bawl my freaking eyes out on Thursday, I really am.....I just don't get why Locke would be considered a good leader though, that is beyond me (although as naive as Jack is, I don't get why Sayid isn't made a leader at this point); why does Jack pull a gun on Locke in the fourth one?;I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED it in the fifth one when Ben said he wouldn't have his daughter and Danielle slugged him, good for you....if I were here Ben wouldn't have testicles or a wee wee by now. As was greatly said in Pulp Fiction, I'd go medieval on his ass......and wow, anyone notice Naomi in the foreground right at the end?
Thanks for posting these Dark, they were GREAT! Sad, made my heart break all over again for Charlie.....but god I can't wait. Sucks we only get eight episodes.
@annebeth, and sorry to Locke fans, I'd hardly say Jack shooting Locke would be coldhearted from Jacks' perspective. From Jack's point of view, this is a man that honestly caused Boone's death (albeit inadvertantly) and this is a man that wants to stay on the island so why should Jack trust or want to be around a man who doesn't serve the best interest of everyone else but truly only for himself. I'm surprised TPTB haven't paired him and Kate up, they'd make the uber narcissistic pair. imho only.
You can't forget the last 3 times Jack as seen Locke
1) Locke blows up the sub, which is Jack's way off the island
2) Locke throws the knife at Naomi killing her, supposedly. (I'm not 110% sure she is dead and haven't heard confirmation and because of patchy I refuse to truly believe anyone is dead)
3) I'm guessing the sneek peek is the next time they see each other, Jack can't be too happy seeing someone basically saying what Jack has been trying to do from day 1 other then keep everyone safe is get them off the island now he finally thinks he has achieved that goal and someone is saying the end is near. I'd punch him too
Also this is all over a what 2 week period or so.

It's great to see Hurley laying into Jack. Jack needs to grow up a little, but we all know that won't happen between now and the future flash-forward.
I have a lot more faith in locke at this time.
I watched only #5 and it's obvious somebody (possibly Rousseau) will pull the knife out of Naomi's back and the island will heal the wound or something.
And again, for the last time, we never saw her really die.
Fantastic! Can't wait to see how Hurley's visit to Jacob turns out. Poor Claire and Hurley, it's so sad :(!
Jack is not to blame, no one who wants to get off the island is to blame. How could they know? And after Locke blew up the sub, "killed" Naomi and etc, it's not a surprised that Jack is mad.
And Ben is getting his poor ass kicked by pretty much everyone on the island!

I agree 110% with Luthien and Breakaleg: Jack is right here because he has seen Locke is crazy! He's crazy for losties and he is crazy to some of us too!
You can't blame Jack for thumping Locke, or even thinking that he's crazy. Jack, as naive and impulsive as he may be, has always had everyone's best interests at heart and everything he's done in the last several episodes has been for the benefit of the survivors. He's worked so hard to get them off that damn island. His first attempt was ruined by Locke, who blew up the submarine because HE wanted to stay on the island. His second, leading everyone to the radio tower with the intention of contacting a freighter, was almost ruined by Locke yet again who magically appeared and murdered Naomi – as far as Jack could see she was trying to rescue them (Ok, so Ben called her a “bad guy”, but come on – the manipulative, twisted leader of the Others who had them tortured and detained?)
It's great to see Hurley laying into Jack.

You made real the purpose of the show, to find yourself, and with lost, we all found ourselves.

did anyone figured out what these whispers are?
Hurley hears them next to the Jacob's house.
My prediction, Hurley walks up to Jacob's cabin and Jacob stares at him, Hurley gets scared and runs through the jungle screaming for help, the big guy falls and hits his head on something, he is knocked out and has a hallucination of Charlie and TLG station.
I loved the clips!! Can't wait to see this. And man I am dying to find out what these whispers are!
Sawyer just has the best one liners "going where?!" lmao...Josh's delivery is just spot on lol. And then Sawyer wanting to talk to Hurley about Charlie, he's come a long way since S1 looking out for #1!
Jack's clocking Locke..ok I will wait to make judgment on that untill I see what preceeds it. Locke's got his reasons, he's a bit crazy at times but he IS no dummy either!
Locke's taking charge!! YAY...will be intersting to see how this one will play out :D.

Ok, its now it´s official: Jack have really lost it!
Damn fool pulling the trigger on one of his own people, especially since Locke didn´t shot him when he had the chance...
From Jack's perspective, Locke came very close to shooting Jack dead in Through The Looking Glass. And this after Jack saved Evil Ben just to get off the island, but Locke blew up the sub!
Jack was quite justified in returning the "almost shooting" favor to Locke!
I got the shivers from five short previews. I wonder how the entire episode will make me feel.
I still haven't the damndest idea of how John Terry fits into this episode.
And no, he is not Jacob.
Also, I can't believe some of you don't trust Locke. He's made mistakes, but he's the messiah of sorts on this show.
Remember the first season? They mention he's crazy all the time, but everyone keeps saying, "Yeah, but that's the one man who can save us all."

Jack has a need "to fix things" like Ben said. That is a need,for himself, not a concern for everyones lives. I am not saying he thinks nothing of the other people, just he has his own need in thee
If this was the case he wouldn't have let Tom "kill" Bernard,Jin, & Sayid. I like Jack but I don't see him as this selfless hero. Hero, yes...selfless, no.
Much like Kate. He thinks he is always right and does not listen to others. I understand him not trusting Locke, but what about Desmond. I am sure he told Jack about Charlie's warning. Jack is blinded,once again, by him being a man of science. Exactly the same flaw that led him not to believe Clair when she said someone attacked her, and about not believing about the button. What if he hadn't pushed it when Desmond wasn't there to turn the fail safe key?
I am finally actually becoming really interested in Jack's character. Off Island it seems he is moving towards being a man that believes in destiny & fate. That sometimes others might know what to do better than he does.

I understand what you are saying but I think Jack is acting more and more like a damn fool (dont get me wrong, sometimes I really like him) when he talks, not to, but FOR everyone else. When Locke give the others a chance to come with him Jack jumps in and says "NO, no one is coming with you, John!" Who is he to make that desicion for them? When Jack pulls the trigger its just... to much. Locke din´t shot him, but suddenly Jack decides that it is time for him to die... Sorry, but I think this is a very big, important, horrible moment in the show because suddenly the first one to try to kill one of their own people is... the great hero?

WOW!!!! The new clips are amazing! So good just to see something new. I really liked the fact that Sawyer is looking out for Hurley. His character has done a complete 360° since the first season. As for Locke and Jack I think this kind of standoff has been on the cards for sometime. As viewers we have the benefit of seeing both sides of the story and the eventual consequences of their actions. Jack only sees Locke's attempts to thwart all escape from the island as a threat but Locke knows more than us. I loved the line 'Until then if you want to live you need to come with me' I think Locke will save them all.
I think that sneak peak 4 comes before sneak peak 2. I don't think Jack shoots Locke. What do people think???

Um, I think everyone is mistaking Jack "cocking the gun" for him pulling the trigger.
I think Jack meant to blow John away. He said he'd kill him the next time he saw him.
Watching the video again, it looked like he had pulled the trigger. His finger was all the way back in the, um, trigger-pulling-ring-thing (that's totally a technical term). And the gun went "click"!
Pulling the trigger or not pulling the trigger, Jack is absolutely conviced that's their best chance to get out of that island... well, he is wrong, he's very wrong. But it's just helps to explain all the guilt he was feeling in the TTLG flashforward.
Now, if Locke's faith can save them all is something we will see in the future. Will the people who followed Locke be safe and sound for the next 3 years (at least till we see the ones who left come back)?
And of course, with only 8 episodes we won't get very much information on that this year :(

@Greenleaf - I see your point but saying Alex wouldn't survive with Rosseau is like saying we don't need air to breathe. Danielle would die for Alex and if there were anyone Alex would be safe with it would be the one person that's survived on that island alone; solely on her intuition and guts, not with modern comforts and food drops as Ben has.
I think Locke saying, "You're not going to shoot me Jack" is a hint that Locke has some kind of precognition. He knows somehow that he will not be shot by Jack.
I understand what is being mentioned about the gun noise being "cocking" but it does look like Jack's finger is all the way back in the trigger pulling part of the gun. Jack wasn't kidding about killing Locke the next time he saw him.

but we all know the losties who will chose to go with locke will go with him and jack wont stop anyone... just like he didnt force ppl to come with him to the caves (he said the cave is a safer place but when some ppl wanted to stay behind he didnt try to convince them) or didnt force locke not to open the hatch, he didnt want to disvover the hatch at night but locke wanted to do that and he let go, kate went down there too but he didnt try to stop her either or he didnt force locke not to push the button (he just said he's not going to push the button but he never tried to avoid locke from doing that besides locke forced jack to push the button by risking everyones lives)
as you can see jack is not kind of a guy who threates ppl to do what he wants to be done...he makes his speech he wants ppl to listen to him but if ppl chose not to do what he wants he doesnt persist!

I'm just trembling all over. I can't believe it's down to five days now!
In my mind Jack should shoot Locke's ass dead. I wouldn't blame him if he did and I was a redshirt on the island. Locke has done some sh*t that he's never explained that have not worked in their best interests in every season. Jack may have lost his mind, or be on the way to losing it, but Locke is a lone wolf only looking out for himself. That's the central conflict of the show: Jack the increasingly desperate altruist versus Locke the increasingly desperate mystic. That's why the suborbital characters of the two -- Sayid, Kate, Ben, Juliet, Hurley -- hold such interest for us. And those who operate mostly outside the sphere of eithers influence fascinate us so well: Desmond, Rousseau, Sun, Jin, Charlie. Now the Lord of the Flies action begins, with a sundering of the Castaways.
Hurley sides with Locke -- whoa, didn't see that coming at all! Hurley has been a Jack loyalist all along. But maybe he knows crazy when he sees it better than anyone, and chooses Locke because of Charlie's message AND the fact that Jack is clearly losing his mind.
(Wouldn't it be nice if Hurley and Danielle ended up together? We know Hugo likes older ladies...)
I'll bet Hurley finds Jacob's shack to be an elaborate fun house, with levers and amusement park effects. Betcha ten Australian dollars, mate.
For those interested, I wrote up a transcript for the third one, the one with Hurley defending Locke:
- Locke: She wants her people to come here. And trust me, when they do we better be far away from here. I'm going to the barracks, the Others abandoned them, it's the only place on the island with any form of security right now, and it'll have to do until I think of something else. Until then, if you want to live, you need to come with me.
- Jack: No one's going anywhere with you, John, because they're not crazy...
- Hurley (interupting): He's not crazy. What about Charlie? Charlie went down to that place so we could all be rescued. (Claire begins to cry) And whatever he did down there, it worked. (Hurley's eyes begin to water) But then something must have happened. He must have heard something before he... (Hurley looks up, eyes full of tears, unable to finish the sentence) I don't know why, but he changed his mind...

Looks amazing. Holloway's acting in the first clip looked a little forced though. I'm sure its just a small fluke though.

i guess jack is losing it and its gonna be painful for me to watch since im a loyal jackfan but whats the point of redeeming if he would never hit rock bottom, right? *sighs*
These clips were awesome, but had me bawling like a baby about Charlie. But, I've been crying about him a lot anyways, because I own his shoes and whenever I see them I tear up, LOL. I can't wait until Thursday!
