Thanks to everyone who sent this to me while I was fast asleep :)
Veronika in Warsaw, Poland: Anything on episode six of Lost? I'm dying to know at least a little tidbit here and there.
The flashback features a look at Juliet's history on the Island, including her reaction to the death of her lovah Goodwin at the hands of Ana-Lucia. I truly cannot wait to see Elizabeth Mitchell in action again.
Malena in Providence, Rhode Island: What exactly do the Lost boaties want from Ben? Is he an enemy or a curiosity?
It won't be clear for some time to come. According to Rebecca Mader, who plays Charlotte and is totally lovable in every way, "I really don't know what we know about Ben, and I don't even know what we know about the Island, so I just had to play Charlotte that way. [Laughs] I really didn't know what the f--k I was doing!"
Peter in San Antonio, Texas: Do you know anything more about Miles' powers?
I don't know about Miles' specifically, but I have heard from two different sources that in an upcoming episode the boat folks appear to test each other for psychic powers. Hmmm...

That's sort of frustrating that we won't know about ben for some time. At least I have my Desmond episode :)
of course we know what they want from Ben. According to the spoilers it will indirectly be revealed this week (I'm not saying more)
So I assume this Juliet flashback is going to be filling in the blanks from the last one. I'm hoping it includes the time that Ben was gone. I'm looking forward to watching Elizabeth Mitchell get to do something again too.
The boaties test each other for psychic powers? Okay...
The psychic test sounds interesting. With all the guns they have I can't believe the Losties can't learn what the freigthers are there for in a looong time. Stupidity never leaves alone these characters.
I have a theory. I think the freighters were sent by the remnants of the original Dharma that want the island back to get Ben out of there or get rid of them (he manages to get out of there somehow maybe).

Yeah, that's my guess.
Dharma wants to get even with the guy who started the purge!
^But how would that even work? If Ben and the Hostiles wiped out all of DHARMA while Ben and his dad were away from the massacre, how could DHARMA possibly have any idea that Ben was involved?
No one knew Ben was involved before the Purge, then everyone died, so there was no one left to learn that Ben was involved (unless someone off-Island spotted Ben away from the island after the Purge and knew Ben was with DHARMA, but we can't be sure that the photo the freighter people have is off-island for sure or even taken by someone related to DHARMA).
@v_s - I seriously doubt the entirety of the Dharma Initiative was on that island at the time of the purge. I'd bet my life on it.
@ahrean - Even if the entirety of the DHARMA Initiative wasn't on the island, it would take someone on the island to identify that Ben had a hand in it. (Unless he later took a careless trip off the island, like I already said.)
Well we don't know that everyone died on the purge do we?
But then the thing that doesn't make sense is if Miles etc. are working for Dharma then why did they still have the food drops? From what I gather it seems some people at least know that Flight185 landed on the island. This hurts my head just thinking about it.
@butters - If someone from DHARMA HAD survived (barring the Swan occupants who, judging by the blast door map, didn't know a whole lot about what was going on outside and had little, if any, contact with the outside) and known about Ben, then DHARMA probably wouldn't have taken this long to finally send people back to the island to reclaim it (because their informant would be alive for them to be able to find the island again).
Also, we don't know if those "food drops" were actually food "drops". For all we know, it could have been placed there by the Others, but more likely it was placed there by the island or the "magic box". No one heard any aircraft pass over before the food drop appeared, so that means the food was either dropped by hot air balloon or not dropped at all. As far as we have been shown, the only hot air balloon on the island is in terrible disrepair, and certainly not suited for a food drop. It is far more likely that the island or "magic box", sensing that Hurley was destroying his food hoard, tempted him with what he truly wanted: more food. If the island placed the food there, DHARMA needn't still know the location of the island.
Another thing that separates the group from DHARMA is the fact that their pretext mission was to find Desmond. They had to get that picture (which only Desmond and Penny had a copy of previously) from someone. Charles Widmore probably could probably get to that picture pretty easily though. Furthermore, we know that the people Naomi worked for are responsible for the 815 coverup, and the Find815 game told us that these people had a diary by Magnus Hanso in their possession. Now there's a minor spoiler elsewhere on this site that says that a certain someone bought that diary, and that person isn't directly related to DHARMA (indirectly, yes, but not directly).
Seems DHARMA's not a big player in the boaties plans, but they may be some how related.
