Guess this blows my Claire gets hurt-has vision of Christian whilst delirious-Jack comes to treat her-they find out their connection theory out of the water. Maybe though, Jack is the one who Christian 'visits' when he is feverish and disoriented. They have a conversation and he tells Jack of the connection and he tells Juliet of his ‘nightmare’ whilst she is tending to him. He can then tell by the look on Juliet’s face that she knows something and demands she tell him everything.
I'm scared! Something goes wrong with Sawyer, Claire, Miles and Aaron.

i think what 'goes wrong' could be christian. clair and miles both see him , maybe sawyer too. could be why those 3 are together in that situation. sawyer met him before he died, miles isa ghostbuster and he is claires father.

This sounds kind of dumb. Jack's my favorite character and the idea of him trapped in the middle of some lame soap opera story line of two women battling to take his temperature makes me cringe.
I wonder if he's injured or sick. Could Jack be suffering from the same illness that is driving the freighties mad? Is that going to be the reason he ends up being one of the ones to leave the island? That would be lame as well.
I do have one burning question though. Where the heck is Hurley?

I just imagined the dialogue, but, is very possible something like that happend.
For my money Camp Locke has been the best thing about the show this season. The best triangle by far is that whole Sawyer/Ben/Locke thing.
Sawyer: We should just kill him.
Locke: He's been on the island longer than both of us he knows things. [turns to Ben] What's the smoke monster?
Ben: I don't know.
Sawyer: Don't think he hasn't already thought up a plan to get us.
Ben: James, don't do it?
Sawyer: You want to do it or should I?
Locke: I'll do it.
Ben: John, they're here to kill us all!
Those three are the most fascinating and interesting characters and it's great the writers put them together. They play so well off each other. Watching those three interact with each other is a guilty pleasure.
I could care less about boring Jack and Kate who are told that rescuing them isn't the freighters primary goal and still they sit around and do nothing and don't demand answers.
And from the promo it looks like Camp Locke is still the place to be while Jack needs his two groupies to save his poor wittle life.

i agree with venus. i am getting bored and pissed about the jate rumours, lack of sawyer, lack of skate, too much jack popping up in everyones centrics etc. don't get me wrong, i like the guy, but tptb dont need to shove him down our throats 24/7.

I understand what you are saying. Maybe is because we have been waiting for so long, and the writers/cast were saying all the time how good it would be that now I feel quite disappointed too(although Confirmed dead and The Constant were awesome).
As for Sawyer, he was quite missing in the last 4 episodes, yes!, but with the recent spoilers, it seems quite obvious that he's going to be in one on the centers of the action in the next ones.
And I have to say that I will be really happy if Sawyer is finally out of the stupid plot of the triangle.His character has bigger and better possibilities of development.

I hope you're right and I agree that it will be nice to see if the Losties are as willing to drop everything for him as he has been for them. I would've guessed Sun and Juliet as the caregivers, but I guess that wouldn't serve the Juliet/Jack/Kate triangle storyline very well huh?

Yeah, you are right! I wish if it could be possible but the thing is that the damned triangle is here to stay till its end with some characters ( I think very soon with Kate, that probably Jack kiss is the end of Kate) She'd become in a b.... to me.

It's so cool - we know who gets off the island, and now they can confuse us by first having Hurley go with Locke, then showing Kate with Aaron, and now having Sawyer, Claire and Aaron go back to the beach - but not Hurley. It's unimaginable, how it'll all fit. I'm so excited to find out!

Sawyer just survived an explosion, shot his way out of New Otherton, saved a woman and child and no doubt dropped some killer one-liners along the way.
The Doc has a lot to live up to.
It just wouldn't be a season of Lost without the childish, petty Jack bashing.
What if Jack was fitted for an implant similar to the one they put into Claire and when Juliet didn't kill Daniel and Charlotte (her last chance to show her allegiance to Ben) Ben activated it. Juliet would know what was wrong with him and she would know that the only way to save him would be to go back to Ben.

Yeah, I agree. I too don't expect it to be soap opera like. And as it is the last Jack centric episode on the island, it feels kind of necessary that the two women have a bigger part in it.

YES! I totally agree. Most exciting things happen if these 4 are involved. And there can never be too much of them imo. But I would put Desmond on the list too. Desmond episodes are always great.
Ok. More time speculation. May be Jack get sick because the body washed ashore creates a time paradox and until the course correction happens, his mind just can't take it.

Since when has Jack resolved his feelings? In the finale (season 3)he told Kate he loved her and yet in Juliet's most recent (which took place a few days later)episode "The Other Woman" he kissed her!
I think Jack is more of a man of plans and leadership. Sawyer is an action man, he can do whatever he should in an emergency situation.
I've always liked the scenes with Locke and Ben dialogues, there are more brain stormings than any other scene. Their thoughts about the island and the freighter people make me to think twice. And if you add Sawyer to their scenes, it will be like a cream at the top of a chocolate cake. :D (This example reveals my biggest passion :P)
Anyway, please have LESS romance and MORE action than ever! If I don't see the Claire-Jack-kinship-revealed this season, I want to marry Claire before she gets shot or killed by some forces in the future - but of course I don't know what will happen, just guesses.
Jack's anger to Daniel on the promo video is, IMO, because of he finds the body of Doc Ray and asks to Daniel about what happened, and he finally feels something is gonna happen bad, but Daniel is still closemouthed, so his anger is this.
I think that if anyone is going to ber drama in the Jack/Juliet/Kate saga it's going to be Kate. I agree that Juliet may think the only way to save him is to take him to Ben. But I think she is far to much of a grown-up to fight about who loves him more. If anything she will beg Ben to save him and promise that if he does she will remain with Ben. In turn her life for Jack's in a sense. Besides she actually cares about Jack so she'll want him to be happy and safe even if that means letting him go with Kate. She has already warned him to stay clear of her because of Ben, I don't think she's going suddenly go all third grade on us.
I find it ridiculous that some ppl would stop watching the show because of the way the triangle is going to develop and that some ppl complain because the main character 'pops up into everyone's centrics'.
The main character of the show is supposed to have a leading role in the plot, whether you like it or not!
I understand that your favourite character (and actor) on the show has not had major time screen in this season, but the tv serial wasn't affected that badly!
Season 4 is awesome!
Episodes such as The Constant, The Economist, Confirmed Dead, were masterpieces and neither Jack nor Sawyer was starring in these episodes.

I would never stop watching Lost if Kate ended up with Sawyer! Yes, I'd like J & K to get together, I like Jack a lot, but this does not affect my general perspective on the show.
This is the way I see ships: it's fun to ship a couple, it's fun to have a favourite character on the show (when the actor happens to be the sexiest man ever it's even funnier), but..do I really care who Kate is going to sleep with? Nope! Did I like the cage-skex? Oh yes, I did! Is Matthew Fox the most talented actor on the show? No he's not!
In my opinion you need to have a wider perspective on the show no matter how much you care about ships, otherwise there's not point in watching the show at all!
Once again jaters seem to be taking the high road. How tedious.
Anyway, couldn't care less about the lack of Sawyer - if the story doesn't demand him then don't have him. However I haven't like season 4 so far anyway. The Constant aside, the last 4 episodes I would rate as not very good at all, and the first three were purely exposition - ie. having already seen them and knowing what happens, there's nothing else to gain from them.
Now if Jaters could just come down from their ivory towers and converse with the little people perhaps debates on here would be a bit more civilized.

I think that Juliet is not playing the triangle. She never did.
When she kissed Jack in the finale, I think she did it without carin' what people could think.
In T.O.W, when she saw kate and jack, she just left. And later, she told Jack to stay away from her because otherwise ben would kill him. She is to mature to play triangles. The only person doing that is Kate.
I think in their efforts to dismiss the 'triangle' some people make some extreme statements such as "I'll never watch again" etc. But I can't see someone giving up Lost for anything, especially if they are that passionate about it to begin with. Lost is an addiction.
Personally, I don't care much for the triangle. I find it a bit tiresome. But I absolutely love the Des/Penny story. Different strokes for different folks. And in fairness, the triangle arc hasn't been dominant. It hasn't eaten up screentime.
I think the writers are inspired enough to keep the overall Lost story on track :)

lost is not my favourite show on tv by a long shot(that would be prison break) so i don't think that i am being ridiculous or pathetic if i stop watching. i love lost, but season 4 has been the worst so far, and it hasnt had me hooked like the other seasons have. i dont think there would be anything wrong with not watching anymore, but having said that, i would NOT stop watching. at what point did i say i would stop? i said "no sawyer, more lost" (or something to that effect.) i see how that sounds like i wouldnt watch anymore, but that is not how it was meant. basically i meant no sawyer, lost would not be as interesting, as addictive, as watchable.
when i said that jack keeps popping up in other peoples centrics, i meant that in a light hearted way, and i hope it came across as such. i understand that jack is the main character, and for that, he is very important, but imo, he is no where near the most interesting character (that would be ben) so of course it feels, to me, like there is too much of him at times.

people can watch lost for what ever reason they want. it depends what different people are interested in. if someone is into sci fi stuff, they might watch for the mysteries and absolotely detest the 'ships'. if someone likes to see romantic stuff on screen then they might watch for skate, jate etc.
you have no right to tell someone that they should not be watching cos they are missing the point. some of you jaters are so arrogent about your views that you can, at times, be very dismissive, rude and harsh about others peoples views.
imo, skate is not over and done with as darlton have made it clear that the the triangle will not end for ages, and they have talked about the love kate and sawyer have for each many times. it would be unrealistic for sktae to be over when darlton have said that they love each other.
and to be honest, jate has not even started, so how would you like it if someone said to you "jate will never happen, get over it".
its not a nice thing to say is it? people have different views and we should respect that. if someone only watches for a certain reason then that is up to them. some things in lost might not be appealing to everyone.

I think the Jaters are in for a rude awakening when their over-confidence that it's going to be a Jack/Kate kiss blows up in their faces.
Darlton said [aside that Sawyer/Kate weren't done with each other, which wasn't exactly music to my ears, as I was thrilled when Sawyer had enough of Kate and called her out] that Jack/Kate would remain unresolved for awhile. Frankly, I was surprised by that, as they didn't seem all that interested in the pairing. So them kissing would resolve the relationship and it sure wouldn't complicate the triangle in the least. Kate's always coming on to Jack while she's with Sawyer, so it wouldn't be anything different than was before.
There'd also be no point to giving Kate yet another man to dither over, when she can even decide between two men. So that leaves Sawyer kissing someone and I think that someone is Claire.
Sawyer risks his life to try and save Claire and now there's even Sawyer/Claire spoilers out. Don't think the show could resist having Sawyer get involved with Jack's sister, since they love having those two as adversaries, and the irony that Kate is playing mommy to Claire's son, while Claire is romantically involved with Sawyer. Kate has something of Claires and guess what, Claire has something of Kate's.
I do think the show has been toying with the idea of Claire/Sawyer for a long while and it may be why [was it Damon Lindeof?] said the kiss is his favorite moment in the entire history of the show.
Last season while Kate was off playing rescue ranger with Sayid, they had the stuff with Sawyer/Claire. Josh Holloway and Emilie De Ravin have chemistry in spades. The writers just needed to kill off Charlie and have Kate abandon Sawyer on the island to make it happen.
It would be the most delicious of ironies if the decision was no longer who Kate wants, but who Sawyer wants and the crappy way Kate has treated him, I don't think it's going to be her.
Well, I will not be pissed or have a rude awakening or whatever if the kiss is not between Jack and Kate.
I actually like the idea of Sawyer and Claire a lot. I always thought they are cute together. Even if it seems a little bit out of nothing at this point. But it totally depends what happens the next episodes.
The main reason I would really like those two together is that Claire is a mother. It would be such a wonderful and symbolic redemption for Sawyer as he totally messed up with Cassie and his daughter. But him, finally taking care of two people who really need him, taking responsibility...
I think this would be awesome.
And the aspect she is Jack's little sister would be fun anyway.
But then again, I think Sawyer loves Kate too much. We will see.
How in the world does Jack/Kate kissing = their "situation" resolved, especially if it's before TTLG, in which case we would know for a fact they are the opposite of resolved?

I think most shippers on here would criticise the other side no matter if they were being defensive or condescending. And the other side will always come across as either. Let's face it, we'll never agree with anyone we don't agree with. But let's at least be open and RESPECTFUL, and not attack people based on who they want Kate with for god's sake! Your opinion on this matter does not determine what kind of person you are!
Anyway it can't really be a Sawyer/Claire kiss can it? Damon said it would happen off the island, and as far as we know (unless some major twist is in store - which, considering this is Lost we're talking about, is likely really) neither Claire nor Sawyer are off the island. I'd like to see something happen between them though, I think that would make for a very interesting dynamic... but I can see why some people wouldn't want it, starting this ship is kind of like shoving Jack/Juliet in our (Jaters') faces after Sawyer and Kate got together. It's like, yeah we get it, no need to overkill. Which obviously isn't the way it was meant to be interpreted, but I'm sure the Skaters would feel the same way if Sawyer and Claire got together (and Jack and Kate, but I'm doubting that), and it doesn't feel very nice. :/
As for Sawyer, Miles and Claire all seeing Christian - OOOH! I hope this is true! Claire is like, "dad?" and Sawyer is like, "Hold on, that's Jack's dad!" Awesome way to reveal it.

The thought of Sawyer & Claire together is an extremely disturbing one for me. Sawyer looks almost old enough to be Claire's dad. Emilie has the look of a 17 year old and Josh looks about 40. No.... just no.
Can you imagine how crazy this place will be once someone actually confirms who the kiss is between? If anyone here stopped to think for a minute this kiss is probably nothing, but Carlton is smart enough to know this little bit of info would enough to cause a shipper war.

It certainly is tiresome reading posts from people who feel they need to tell people how and why they should watch the show and belittling those who don't watch it for the "right" reasons. That said, I watch all episodes once, discuss them with my friends and then move on. As an unabashed fan of Sawyer since "Confidence Man" in season 1, I do go back and watch episodes where he is more prominent along with a few exceptions. Just because I love his character, doesn't mean I should be considered less of a fan and I do find it annoying when someone says I'm missing the "point of the show" or can't enjoy the show because I'm not enamored with certain other characters or all the mysteries. And I'm one of the people that feels that even though the Sawyer/Kate dynamic is powerful and fun and much more interesting (to me) than the Jack/Kate one, I am sick of the triangle and the so-called "shipper wars" that go on. Having Kate not be able to make a choice has ruined her for me. I want Sawyer to get over her and move on. I like the idea of a Sawyer/Claire relationship in the future (a couple years down the road), after Claire has had time to get over Charlie and Sawyer has had time to get over Kate. Since it appears Sawyer and Kate will not be together for some, most or all of season 5, they could easily start laying the ground work for that this season. I would really laugh if Sawyer wound up with Claire, Jack with Juliet and Kate with, well...no one. Yeah, I know, it's not going to happen. Well just give me more Sawyer involved in more of the action and mysteries and get him out of the triangle and I'm happy. This spoiler looks good to me.
Miramax, I agree with you. Sawyer's my favorite character and I applauded him when he finally had enough of Kate's crap in Eggtown and finally called her on it.
I had to laugh when she told Sawyer she doesn't trust him, when she's given him absolutely no reason to trust her. With Sawyer's past, I imagine it's hard for him to trust and open up and having a girlfriend constantly macking on another guy while sleeping with him sure isn't going to make him trust her.
I've actually enjoyed the character development the writers have been doing with Sawyer this season. I think by next season no one will refer to Sawyer as Sawyer, as he's slowly starting to become James again now he doesn't have to pretend to be Sawyer to track down the con man that caused his parents death. I've enjoyed watching the relationships they've been building for Sawyer with Locke and Hurley. I think watching James evolve back into who he really is after pretending to be Sawyer for so long is going to be fascinating to watch.
And it's just a hunch, but I think the writers have a big story coming up for Sawyer. And it seems it's beginning with episode 9.

@sockerock - I too like Sawyer's development this season. I just wish we would have seen a little more of him the last 4 episodes. Some people considered him rude or childish in the way he reacted to Kate in Eggtown, but considering that she told him she didn't trust him, then turned around and said she wanted to use him, went to him for comfort after being banned by Locke, came on to him, then rebuffed his advances and said she was returning to the beach and by implication Jack, I thought he was totally justified in what he said. He called it the way he saw it. It was the way I saw it too.
Anyway, I hope you're right about a big story line coming up. I would be happy to see it, but I think the concentration on the O-6 will probably keep that from happening, at least this year. But who knows.

How great. Juliet and Kate are probably going to bicker over who is more deserving of tending to Jack's wounds. This season is getting worse and worse by the minute. Another LB is in the works folks and I'm sure the episode was written by the great Elizabeth Sarnoff.
And the only reason why they even included Kate in this plot is to shove more triangle drama down our throats. Juliet makes sense because she's actually a doctor. Sun would have made more sense considering that she actually knows something about medicine. What can Kate do except for running to the next medical hatch to get some meds? And why should I care that Jack gets sick if I know that he survives anyway?

You know, I am sure that even if Skate ends this season, it WILL be revisited in the future! When season 3 rolled around and Kate chose Sawyer, I was sad but I kept watching, and even though Jack and Kate aren't together I still enjoy the show very much, and in the back of my mind am hoping they'll get together, without being too optimistic. But I think the writers have shown that they aren't going to risk ending the triangle any time soon in fear of upsetting a large part of the fandom, so if Skate does "end", don't stop watching! You'll miss out on future Skate :)

Claire/Sawyer is just insane! Please they actually have a bro/sis vibe going on and cant see Sawyer in another romantic entanglement esp with a single mother! He didn't have use for his own child what would he do with Claire kid?? Of course if these two do hook up its has to be after the OC6 leave cos there is nothing "spec" abt those kissing right now!
I am one of the most hard core Jaters out there but I dont understand how anyone can stop watching Lost because two of their fav ppl didn't get together!
Skate may be revisited or annihilated but how can you be just done with the show??? I mean seriously there is more to Lost than Skate, Jate, etc!

I'm glad to see we can still discuss and respect each other.
I'm sure (as I see many of you guys agreeing) I'm not the only one who enjoy every level of the show; and I'm sure I'm not the only shipper who doesn't bash the opposite ships/characters. I'm a Jater, but I do love Sawyer very much, I like Juliet a lot and although I have my own view about why I think Jack and Kate are a better match I usually enjoy Sawyer/Kate scenes, because I always thought that the authors have been able to create enjoyable characters independently from those romantically linked. And IMHO this is kind of unusual on tv shows.
Personally, I'm absolutely opened to the fact that the kiss might not be between Jack and Kate, but I still think that they have the highest chances, at least for now, since the kiss will not happen on the island and it will be related to triangle. Also, I think that it will complicate the triangle a lot, as the relationship between the two is not physical yet. Considering what we know so far, those two information let me think that the kiss could be in a FF or, less likely, on the chooper and the fact that it involves the triangle in some way (i.e. Jack/Kate/Sawyer) it seemed to be a further hint towards Jack/Kate; unless Jack kisses Sun or Kate kisses one between Hurley/Sayid/Ben (but I really hope the authors do not add more people into this :D).
That said, the fact that we're going to see a spectacular kiss in the finale doesn't mean it will be the only kiss we will see. Anyway, though I find the idea of Sawyer/Claire pretty cute, I don't think it will happen, at least not now. In the next seasons, maybe.
As for these spoilers, I really hope you're right and Sawyer, Claire and Miles run into Christian Shepard. That would be really interesting. As for Juliet and Kate saving Jack, I really don't think they will fight to show Jack who loves him the most or something and, in any case, we don't know yet the reasons why Jack needs to be saved and, most of all, saved from what.
Well if Claire heads back to the beach then obviously nothing happens to her at the barracks...looks like Locke's little Xanadu plan fails eh?
