For all we know, this could be something to do with Aaron leaving. Locke against it/Sawyer intent on the beach. It would tie in nicely with Claire's vision way back when.

I doubt all the Others know what Locke/Richard did. Also, Richard gave Locke the file, it was Locke who manipulated Sawyer and locked him in the room with the man who ruined his life. Then took the credit for the kill.
As for Locke, his judgment is so skewed, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Claire's dream
It looks like Sawyer, Miles, and Claire split from the others. Claire is sitting by a campfire at night and so are Miles and Sawyer, so they they all have spent the night in the jungle. In the morning, however, Claire is not with them anymore. Sawyer grabs his gun and wakes up Miles quickly.
Back at the beach it looks like there is a Rose and Bernard story :)
Ben may also not want to let Sawyer go. Sawyer's the only one Ben has actively tried to convince to stay on the island, like he did in Confirmed Dead.
As for Aaron, the fact of the matter is since Kate is raising Aaron, maybe Claire does give him away.

Trying to figure out if the Locke/Sawyer confrontation is two different scenes that take place at two different times.
Well, Jack getting sick is finally a good "twist" in this show. we never saw him break down, or anything short of a "hero", and now we get to see him sick and in fetal position!!! And Sawyer vs Locke. OMG! Looks like Sawyer doesn't trust Ben a single bit, and leaves to the beach... while Locke does *trust* Ben, and want to stay with him.-. or something along those lines.
I'm so excited for this episode! I wonder what's going on with Claire?

There was a spoiler a week or so ago that there's a Sawyer/Claire scene that takes place by what looks like what could be a door leading to The Orchid for 4.11. So maybe Locke and Ben force Claire/Sawyer to go up there.
Ben's behavior towards Sawyer has always been out of character. I think he wants something from him. But what? Didn't he say the only way to gain Sawyer's respect was if he out-conned him. Why would he want Sawyer to respect him?
Oh, my heart hurt when I saw this Jack's pics! Nice that he will be good soon (I hope), with medical-loving care from Juliet and loving care from Kate!

Very cool, very interesting stuff. jack looks like he's in a coma. i have no idea why miles is sitting with locke & claire, just hanging out - he must have done something very heroic at the barracks to be allowed to just "chill" with them after admitting hes there as part of a group who are there to kill everybody - it'd be hard for miles and me to get along after hearing that, but that's just me i guess. looks like bernard and rose are definitely pissed about something - dan and charlotte probably giving some bs about why they can't have jack taken to the mainland via the freighter. & then jack awakes ad bernard looks even more pissed. definitely want to get a closer look at the last 3 pics. hurley is definitely there - but no barracks red shirts? no alex either. hmmmm and danielle still better be alive, somewhere with a flashback waiting. i thought ben & locke would be en route to the orchid via some tunnel connecting from the basement of bens cabin, not with sawyer and everybody. maybe they accidentally crossed paths and ben forbids any of them to come with them, hence the gun? i can't wait for the new episodes, i wish i could become unstuck in time just so i could watch them now!

Too bad you can't enlarge the pictures so we could see the detail a little better. I do see that Hurley appears to join up with Sawyer and Claire and it looks like Claire is holding Aaron in the second to last picture. Maybe Sawyer is serenading Aaron to sleep. There was an episode where Charlie used Sawyer's voice to calm Aaron when he was crying. Have to wonder where the guitar came from though. Can't imagine it's something Sawyer would want to drag around with him.
Apparently Sawyer doesn't think Locke will really shoot him, since he turns his back on Locke in the last picture. Really curious what the “illness” is that strikes Jack too. Anyway, great pictures.
Sawyer must have dropped his own gun, because he couldn't shoot Locke, and maybe he's doing the old, you can shoot me, but you're not going to stop me from leaving.

The only good thing about miles being out and about in the jungle will be his perspective/interpretation of the whispers and any other weird stuff they may see along the way

I love seeing Juliet takes care of jack. They both have great chemistry even jack is sick and lying down like a baby.
Sawyer playing guitar is absolutely hot but i wonder if this scene would be actually on the real show.
I don't see what the big deal is in seeing Jack sick when we know that he's alive in the future.
I guess the good thing that will come out of this is that the other survivors will start trusting Juliet more.
Things will be getting harder for Dan and Charlotte though. The more they refuse to talk, the more angry the survivors will be.
I don't know why some of you think Sawyer and Claire wouldn't trust Miles. He has been very open about his intentions so there's no reason for them not to trust them. Also, if it was him who rescued Claire, that's one more reason for them to trust them.
I do kind of wonder though what Ben and Locke want. In one of the pics where Sawyer and Miles are sleeping and Claire is awake it looks like Aaron is missing, but then when all 6 of them are together, Claire is holding Aaron.
It looks like Sawyer is fed up with Locke, but then there is a scene where they are playing checkers or something, so I wonder what happens there. It does however like Sawyer is walking away despite Locke threatening to shoot him (and it looks like Claire and Miles have already left and Hurley is about to follow).
Does this mean that Alex is dead?
Keamy will be in this episode and Frank too so I really don't know what that could mean.
I don't think we will see Keamy's dead body without Alex, so I think Keamy is still alive. But if Keamy is alive then I can't imagine him killing Alex. That would make him too unlikable, so maybe something else happened to her.
I guess we'll find out soon.

I can't say I'm that bothered about what is happening on the beach but the jungle pictures are delightfully confusing. All sorts of different scenarios offer themselves. And that picture of Sawyer with a guitar, was it thrown in to confuse us? He is sitting on a metal chair for a start with all sorts of non jungle paraphernalia in the background. Do they usually include pictures of filming breaks in the promotional shots?
I'm sure Juliet will do everything she can to help him recover, which is good for us. I don't want to see my Dr Sexy feeling sick - even if I know he'll be fine.

Ok, from the look of it, there's a definite "order" to the pictures. If you save them all out on your PC and order by filename, you'll see that there's a "progression" of events ... first, the beach scenes with Jack. Then, the jungle daytime scenes with Sawyer/Claire/Miles. Then the confrontation with Locke/Ben/Hurley. The final picture is Sawyer and Locke facing each other with guns...

The sickness of Jack seems a good reason for him being one of the Oceanic 6...
I imagine that someone saves them with helicopter, but they only will be able to do one trip, leaving the rest on the island. Who would be doing the first trip?
The sick, the pregnant, the baby and someone to take care of him (only 3 passangers + pilot per trip).
Sayid is already out of the island, Desmond isn't an Oceanic Passenger.
My question then is why and how Hurley AND Kate both leave the island.

flyingv, I think you've nailed it. Probably to play up the Juliet/Jack/Kate triangle. Think Sawyer's out of it, since Kate sure doesn't seem to care she'll never see him again.
For me, the best story this year on Lost has been the goings on at Camp Locke. Unlike at Camp Jack, this is where all the action is. We've got them asking questions, unlike Jack with the freighties.
I am sorry to see the break-up of my Socke [Sawyer + Locke], cause these two are just great together.

basically because jack is there LOL and daniel (my new guy) is there too! sayid and desmond's scenes are (mostly) connected to the camp jack plot!

Here's one possible scenario for the Camp Locke photos:
Sawyer wants to go back to the beach to warn everyone there the danger there in, but Locke and Ben don't want him to go. He pulls a gun, so Miles, Claire and Aaron can leave, and gets the shock of his life when Hurley opts to stay with Locke and Ben. Sawyer walks away as Locke continues to point the gun at him.
Now, Sawyer, Claire, Aaron and Miles are headed to the beach when something goes wrong. I think Claire/Aaron disappear while Sawyer/Miles are sleeping and Sawyer and Miles begin to search for them, and as they are, Miles disappears next.
After that one of two things could happen:
1. Since episode 11 is named Cabin Fever, maybe Jacob's cabin suddenly appears to Sawyer.
2. Locke/Ben show up, tell Sawyer they've got Claire/Aaron/Miles, to drop his weapon and force him to come with them.
Someone saw Claire/Sawyer up in the mountains filming a scene for episode 11 with a door with the Dharma log behind them in the background.
I have to say these shots makes the episode look awesome. Lost works best when we get a bit of everybody, and I can't remember the last time we've seen a decent island interaction episode ala early season 1. Let's see some camaraderie before getting into batlle mode!
Wow, first Sawyer saves Claire from the explosion, then he decides to bring them back to the beach and now he's out in the jungle looking for missing Claire? ... The guy is really turning Hero on us. :D
Maybe the real James is emerging. Maybe Ben was right. He said he wanted John to kill Daddy Locke to free himself from his past, but instead Sawyer killed Daddy Locke and freed himself from his past.
The interesting thing about Lost is characters appear to be one thing on the surface and are another thing underneath. On the surface Jack appears to be a hero, but maybe the real hero is Sawyer.
Yeah, I know Jack eventually decides he wants to go back to the island, but just how long did it take him to get to that place? Three or four years? Look at all the danger these people faced on that island in 100 days. So it takes him a few years to decide that maybe he should go back to help the people he abandoned on Devil's Island. Not to mention with his drug habit, I can imagine the blood money he got from Oceanic Airlines has probably run out by now.

This might be a really dumb question but how do we know Jacks FF is years since he left the island?! This would be a long time for those left on the island (Jin, Sawyer, Locke) to survive on what must be by now, basic food rations?!

The ABC press release for this epsiode says that Sawyer, Miles, Claire and Aaron are headed back to the beach and then something goes wrong. My guess is that they cross paths with Locke, Ben and Hurley, which results in a confrontation that has Locke and Sawyer pointing guns at each other. I'm also guessing that Ben and Locke take Aaron and send Claire, Sawyer and Miles away. That would certainly account for Hurley later saying he's sorry he ever went with Locke, and I think it would make Locke and Sawyer enemies forever. Claire looks sad in those camp-fire pics and there's no sign of Aaron, so that's why I think Locke and Ben took him. Then, when Sawyer wakes up, he finds out Claire left their little camp during the night - probably to try to find Aaron, so he drags Miles up and sends him off to the beach to rally the troops, while he goes in search of Claire himself. Presumably he catches up with her and we'll see them at the Orchid in Ep. 11.
I think you're all thinking too much into the Locke/Sawyer stand off. I think both groups are traveling away from the Barracks and and they startle each other when they cross paths.
I think what happens to Claire is that she sees Christian Sheperd and he leads her to the cabin. What would be cool is if she enters the cabin and then the cabin disappears with Claire inside which would set up the next couple of eps and years.
Smifler - I think it's safe to assume it's around 2 years in the future as Aaron was credited in Eggtown as '2 year old boy'.

Everytime I see Claire in a promo pic I fear it means she's dying in that episode.
That one pic with Sawyer and Miles where Sawyer is holding Miles's collar looks like Sawyer is going to whop him with that gun. Look at the gun, he's not holding it in a shooting position... it's like he's ready to kick Miles's ass.
'Course it might be something else, but it's weird how he holds the gun like that.
Picture 310 looks like Ben just delivered a mindf#@* line to everybody...maybe something like this:

Doesn't anyone else notice how weird that picture is? Looks to me like everyone was asleep and Claire has just been awaken by something, maybe by the fire itself. It is obvious from her body position that she was lying down and has just propped herself up to look at the fire, which is definitely doing something odd. Looks like the beginning of a mysterious storyline to me.
Also, Sawyer is a badass for using a log for a pillow!
remus lupin, great point. Isn't there a photo where Sawyer's asleep and Miles is awake. If Sawyer wakes up and finds Claire and Aaron missing and Miles didn't wake him up immediately, he's going to bust that ghostbuster's head open.

And the reason JH might have had to fly to LA to film is Emilie de Ravin is currently filming a film with Johnny Depp. Don't know if it's being filmed in LA or not, but it does add more fuel to the fire.
I thought Sawyer/Claire was coming since that little scene where Kate/Claire were sitting on Claire's porch and Sawyer came by and I thought there was a very flirty vibe between Claire/Sawyer.

Beach scenes/Jungle scenes - it has the makings of a classic Lost episode.
The jungle pictures are melting my brain. I cannot imagine how this scenario plays out, or what order these pix are supposed to be in... probably because I can't figure out why Miles is suddenly uncuffed and camping out with our peeps, but also b/c I cannot wrap my fangirl mind around Locke blatantly betraying Sawyer and Claire in favor of butt-boy Ben. Why Locke? WHYYYYYYYYYYY?
However, i am now totally gunning for Claire being the complication to the triangle. I really think Sawyer is going to be totally redeemed, and maybe part of that will be him falling in love with someone who is actually innocent, and not conning her. That would be totally awesome. Kate doesn't deserve him. Pfft.
Rose seems to be nagging Bernard.....again! All that peaceful faith and love stuff that she talked about before he got to the beach camp seems to have completely disappeared once he appeared. :-( Poor Bernard.
Looks like Kate, Juliet, and Charlotte found a spiral curling iron in Otherton, and an outlet at the jungle to plug it into. And Kate must have found instructions on how to weave twig tiaras in Otherton too. :o)

The triangle/quadrangle is pretty lame now, but this Claire and Sawyer thing would really be meaningless and gratuitous, but that's only my opinion of course.
Sawyer and Claire makes more sense , chemistry-wise, than Jack and...anyone.
Only so many times can Kate go bouncing back to Jack before a guy gets fed up. Kate obviously isn't pining for Sawyer in the ffs...he may be in love with her, but I think she's usin' him for sex. I hope he ends up with a nice girl. Like Claire.
There are two and a half seasons left to develop chemistry. I still say it could happen.
Surly, it's classic bad boy falling for the good girl. I agree. I think now that Sawyer has been freed of his past, he's going to go back to who he really is underneath the pretense of being Sawyer. Think it's significant ABC is now referring to Sawyer as James in the latest promo pics.
Jacob's Chair, I feel your pain and agree. The most riveting action on the island this season has involved Locke/Sawyer/Ben. Now that's a triangle. A lot of the beach scenes at Camp Jack have just seemed like filler.

I'm also bumming at the prospect of Locke and Sawyer splitting up. They are great foils for each other.
Also, does anyone else just kind of sigh every time they see a photo of Locke pointing a gun? Does anyone on the island actually take him seriously when he does that? It's practically a guarantee that either the exact thing he's trying to prevent will happen, right in front of him, gun and all, or the gun will be snatched away by the lightening-fast reflexes of the likes of Jack and Ben and pointed back in his face. Wake up, Locke! Stick to knives!
elisabetta, yes, Sawyer is in love with Kate, but after the way she treated him in the Economist/Eggtown, I think he finally had enough and let her go. He hasn't been pining for Kate. He's been having fun with Hurley.
He asked her to stay with him, she told him she wasn't staying for him. She said she didn't trust him, then she used him. The final straw was when she announced she was going back to Jack's camp. I think his comment to her about how she'd crawl back to him in a week when Jack did something to annoy her meant a lot more than it was on the surface. It was like he was acknowleding she would forever keeping hopping back and forth between him and Jack and he had enough of it.
Sawyer is above all else things a survivor, both emotionally and physically. He had his entire life ripped away from him as a child and he survived it. Love her though he does, I think he decided to cut his losses for his own emotional survival.
As for Claire/Sawyer, I think they've been toying with the pairing since season 1. It was in season 1 Sawyer caught Charlie reading Claire's diary and he took it away from him and gave it back to Claire. They also had some Claire/Sawyer interaction last season where Claire had Sawyer hold Aaron. And it was back in season 1 that Aaron would only stop crying when he heard the sound of Aaron's voice. It may be the real reason they decided to kill off Charlie.
In a very real way when Sawyer killed Anthony Cooper both Sawyers died in that moment and Sawyer became James again. And who James loves may be vastly different from who Sawyer loved. As different as Sawyer is from the real James.

Sawyer (and also real James) loves Kate...this feeling for sawyer is deep and real..nothing can distract him for this...it's true sometimes kate has been a real bitch but sawyer knows that she escapes from him because she is afraid for her feelings,sawyer feels that when kate is with him she is really herself and he knows that this relationship could be beautiful so he will wait kate forever..
"He's been having fun with Hurley", this is true but always he thinks about kate, in every moment,ugly or beautiful.

I understand your point of view and I remember all the facts and scenes you mentioned (how could I forget about Eggtown! I was expecting a totally different scenario for skate) but I guess at the very beginning there was some vibe also between Kate and Sayid, or in S2 between Ana and Jack but this does not mean that they were supposed to get together....
If the Sawyer/Claire thing was a possibility, I think it would have been simmering for a while and there hasn't been anything between them thus far. I can't see it happening either. They're gonna make a big deal of the Sawyer/Kate seperation when she leaves I'll bet.
I don't believe for a minute that we'll ever see a Sawyer/Claire romance because not every storyline involving a male and female has to lead to romance. Maybe we're more likely to see Sawyer reliving one of his worst moments, i.e. when Walt was taken and he couldn't stop it. If Ben and Locke do take Aaron from Claire on Sawyer's watch, I think he would be a man on a mission trying to get that baby back. How ironic that the baby ends up with... Kate!

While Kate's chilling down at the beach worried about Jack, Sawyer is going through hell. He's in a gun battle, he nearly gets blown up, has to follow Ben [who he hates for good reason] to save his life, and god knows what else he'll be going through. When he emerges from the other side, he may no longer be the same person.
Look at Jack. He tried to murder Locke because of all the trauma he's been through.
I really think all bets are off on what is or isn't going to happen.
Some of us are so weary of the quadrangle we are grasping at any excape route. Yawwwwwwn...
Here's s some more fuel for the Juliet is a traitor camp: What if Juliet drugged Jack just as she drugged Claire in Season 3, under orders from Ben?
Or, alternately, what if Charlotte dosed Jack with something to disorganize the beach camp's leadership?

Granted, the writers didn't have her mourn as a real girlfriend should, but c'mon. I doubt she'd move to the next guy so quickly.
Claire and Charlie only knew each other for 3 months, and were only "sexually active" for a portion of that. It's not like she's mourning her husband of ten years. I agree, she loved him, and it would be nice for them to show her feeling, you know, bad about it and all. But I don't think he was the love of her life (though she was obviously his) and it doesn't rule out another romantic involvement for the character by any means.

I think just about everyone way out of tune with reality in their analysis of the Claire/Charlie relationship. Obviously they cared for each other, but it was driven almost completely by Charlie. Theirs was a very strained and forced relationship. We NEVER saw anything to indicate that they were soulmates, or connected on some deep level, or whatever fantasy you ladies want to imagine. Much of it was just convenient, and most of it was based on the fact the Charlie felt the need to protect Aaron and Claire, most likely because he was trying to redeem himself for the waste he had made of his life before he met them. Of course Claire cared for Charlie. She had grown close to him over the last few months. But its not like she was instantly or hopelessly drawn into a romance with him. If you recall, it was pretty awful for a long time, what with the whole babynapping and lying about the drugs and everything.

If Sawyer/Claire happens, we'll have a sexangle and that would be ridiculous. Not to mention that Sawyer and Claire don't fit look wise IMO. Claire looks like a 16 years old teenager at times while Sawyer is a hunk who's about to turn 40. Seeing them in a sexscene would probably make me want to call an anti-pedophile hotline or something.

Charlie and Claire did have a very rocky relationship with charlies heroin addiction, his visions of aaron, and i don't even think they even did it - all of that time and effort and all he got was a kiss from claire before going to the looking glass. i do think claire may fall for sawyer, but not because of those cabin pics - i think sawyer is running towards bens cabin and ben rigged it to blow up valuable stuff so the freighters can't get to it. wonder what the chronological order of the pics is, especially the one of locke pointing a gun at sawyers back with just hurley and ben there vs. the one of both sawyer and locke pointing guns at eachother. then the other one with everyone, including miles there. i think jack is either genuinely sick from the island to slow him down as he is desperate and unrelenting in trying to get off the island in ways that are very dangerous to the island, or possibly because someone (maybe even juliet) gave him a placebo/bug, maybe juliet isn't so gung ho about leaving after seeing harper again and the flood of memories that came back with it (not of ben trying to charm her so much as the promise she made to all of the others to help them). & i still don't understand why miles isn't tied up - he wants to kill them!

If she will care Jack with Juliet, she will be worried because she will see Jack very sick! I will love to see this scenes!
I think Sawyer feels sympathy for Claire and knows how much she misses Charlie. He probably misses Charlie himself-and even feels a little guilty for some of the things he did to him in the past (involving him in the Sun kidnapping, for instance). Looking after Claire (and the baby) may be Sawyer's way of trying to making up for it. I doubt very much he has designs on her. Not at this point, anyway. (Maybe a year or two down the road if they're both still stuck on the island)
The guitar-serenade scene is probably not going to be included in the episode, but it would be kind of cool if Sawyer sang "Catch a Falling Star" to the baby.

How many times Claire said "I don't want a (liar/junkie) near my baby". It was what annoyed me most about her character. Charlie really tried hard to confort her (well, not stealing the baby in the middle of the night part, of course :)
That said, I imagined Sawyer and Claire would grow closer, but like... mid S5, not in S4 finale.
Remember S1, close to the raft:
SAWYER: Hey, mamacita. You want some fish?
CLAIRE: No, thanks. I'm not really hungry. [about the raft] How long do you think 'til it's ready?
MICHAEL: Maybe a week, maybe less. You okay?
