Haha yes! Go Juliet! As much as I LOVE Daniel, it's great to see Juliet kicking ass as leader in the scene. But don't shoot Daniel! He's too innocent! :)
I agree, Juliet is one of my favs. I love to see her in a leadership role. She's such a strong character. I also loved Daniel's reaction to Charlotte's smart-ass answer. I think Daniel's character truly does have a good heart and just wants to do research. I think he's in a little over his head. Charlotte on the other hand, she's way too shady. I hope Juliet or Sun back-hand her real soon.
Could Juliet kick any more ass than she does? I'm thinking not. I love it when she takes charge.
I hope Daniel doesn't give Jin a reason to shoot him. As for his other half, all I'll say is, run, Charlotte, run! ;)

It is great to see everybody treating Jin with more respect these days, in the way of how they talk and communicate with him. Nobody speaks slowly anymore, which was understandable, but it also came across as a little patronizing.
I love the way Dan says
"Damn it, Charlotte" with an almost tired tone in his voice. He's so innocent he can't even sound angry when he's pissed, haha!

And as much as I love Daniel, I find his mannerisms and the way he speaks to be annoying!

Honestly, which kind of dentist is Bernard? Which kind of medical school did he attend? I don't know about dentists in the US but I think it's the same all over the world, you have to graduate in medicine ad surgery and then you choose your field of specialization. No wonder his wife bossies him around that much :)

Now this sneak peek is much better than the "Juliet shaves Jack's stomach" one. I know that it's necessary to shave before a surgery but I don't understand why they had to put that in the episode.
Anyways, I loved watching Daniel call Charlotte out on her bitchy attitude. Maybe the guy will develop a spine after all. Don't get me wrong, I love him.
And Juliet's "Shoot them in the legs" reminds me of Kate's "Shoot him in the knee" in NIP. That was actually the last time that I liked her. Oh, the good old times.

I am thinking more and more that Abbadon isn't a bad guy after all, and the bunch he picked Naomi, Daniel, Charolotte, Miles, and Frank... are all turning out to be helpfull. Its Keamy's crew that are the killers. Just like there are muliple factions on the Island, there are multiple factions on the freighter.

Casting Jeremy Davies as Faraday was a stroke of brilliance, and Elizabeth Mitchell is amazing as well.
After reading the other comments I am so glad to know that I am not the only one who can't stand Charlotte....I mean there is smart a** & then there is SMART A**.....Everytime I see her on the screen I just get ticked off, lol! Other than that...I also agree w/ the majority on here as well about Juliet. She is definitely showing how terrible Kate has become. Looking forward to Thursday!
good point, elisabetta and john: where's bernard? he's supposed to be in this episode. he would be a more natural choice for the errand than charlotte and dan. perhaps he's taking turns with juliet on the surgery. he and juliet have both been to medical school; neither one is a general practicioner. although medical research training tends to be more advanced (involves more schooling) than standard medical training, I would not necessarily think that Juliet is much more qualified to do an appendectomy than bernard. if there were enough room in the tent, I would think that an emergency beach surgery of the doctor would benefit from their work as a team, rather than juliet alone. some people are suggesting that jack assists in the surgery, while conscious, but that does not negate bernard's utility. Even if Jack sees Kate as his #2 and she stitched him up in the pilot, it makes a lot more sense realistically to have juliet and bernard in the tent rather than juliet and kate. but it's a tv show.
I still <3 Charlotte, but Daniel is awesome here.

I love Juliet,she will be a great role in this episode for Jack.She's the one who give to Sun instructions and Kate is behind with everybody else.It's a great difference.Not because she couldn't be a great leader,not at all,she could be,but it's Juliet in this Jack's situation who will have the power to save him.Kate will be there to help,as she tries always to do.and I love Kate even for this.
I love that Juliet is taking charge. With Sayid gone I can already see the rest of the sheep standing around watching Jack die saying, "What do we do? Should we like uh make a decision or something?"
I like that Daniel wants to help and that he got in Charlotte's face. It's about time he told her to shut the f*ck up in a way that only kind, dignified Daniel could and if he would've smacked Sun in the chops in the process the whole scene would've been perfect. : )

Even if Jack sees Kate as his #2 and she stitched him up in the pilot, it makes a lot more sense realistically to have juliet and bernard in the tent rather than juliet and kate. but it's a tv show.
The problem is that Bernard isn't nice to look at and he wouldn't advance Lost's soap opera plot, meaning Kate's love life. Logically, he would make far more sense. Same goes for Sun BTW.
Juliet is a my favorite character when she isn't submerged into the triangle soap opera! Her character really shines in this moment. I love the fact that the rest of the Losties are simply accepting her defacto leadership instead of revolting at the idea of an 'Other' leading them.
Heh. I see Charlotte gets a lot of flak on these boards. I think she just says what she thinks and damn the consequences. She has no instinct for smooth talking people so always comes off as hard and unlikable. Though she seems to have a soft spot for Daniel.
Am I the only one who is worried about Jin? Yeah, he can handle himself, but Keamy is out there and I don't trust any of that freighter crew one bit. Any more than I would trust Ben.
I read Dan's little speech in an entirely different way. He's being manipulative. I don't trust Charlotte either, but she seems the more honest of the two. She's never lied, she just keeps her mouth shut better than Daniel. When Daniel berates her, he's berating her about not being able to lie and make nice. I want to be able to like Dan and dislike Charlotte, but I'm uncomfortable with both of them right now.
And I've always loved Juliet. She kicks some serious ass. She has her own agenda, this is true; however, it dovetails nicely with that of our Losties and that's a good thing. She is Ben's other Achilles' heel.

juliet as the leader is not good news for charlotte and daniel. she is much more ruthless then jack. he is all bleeding heart and lets give them benefit of the doubt, while she will take swift action against any discretion on their part. thats what i love about her. she is fair but will not hesitet to kill them if they cross her. remember danny. they better prey jack makes it.

I like Juliet being this forceful and not only saving Jack's life but also taking on his responsibilities. Her character desperately needed a breath of life and this is a good start :)
I think Juliet is awesome. She's someone else who has really developed a new life since coming to the island... Before she was brilliant but timid and oversensitive and something of a victim. Now she is a total asskicker...no matter what her motives are. I kind of wish she'd take stock of that instead of being so desperately focused on getting home. I also hope they give her more to do that relates to the uber-story of the island.
But then, I'm one of those people like Walt and Locke who would never leave if I ended up there!

Yeah, totally agree here. Sometimes I just wanna shake them.
But Juliet is one tough lady. Love her. She is all soft and nice and when it is necessary she is like ‘shoot them in the legs’. The woman is made of win.
And how cute is Daniel? Definitely afraid of Charlotte but he brings it on.
And I have to say I like Charlotte. She is tough and smart and she has this accent, sounding a little arrogant from time to time. I think she is definitely fun to watch.

well i dont usely like nor trust julieet but go go lol and i dont trust char and dan either.but i hope they save jack.i dont know bout the rest of u but each week gets better n better and has me and my family on the edge i just cant wait ill be so sad when its over for the season or for good lol.i never enjoyed a show ever as much as this one.im so hooked lol.

My nickname says it all!!! I love her... She is a Natural Leader!!! Being with the others has gain her confidence!!! I dont trust her either but I love that character!!! She will do everything in her hands to get off the island!!!
I like Juliet a lot, she's so collected, strong but nice too. I don't know but I can't see any secret intentions on her and if she's really a dangerous person, as Michael Emerson said, well, I have to say she's pretty damn good at hiding it.
About Charlotte, well, I think it would have been great if she stayed in Othertown just to see how Sawyer would interact with her and tell her to shut up.
About Dan, I agree with The Mrs... is like he tries to be so nice, and the clumsy way he acts... mmmm! The only freighter I trust but I still don't know why is Frank Lapidus... maybe it's an unconscious thing because of the beard and the salt and pepper hair... LOL XD

For the "Why Bernard isn't doing surgery?" thing, I believe that TPTB tought that having Charlotte and Daniel under this suspicious spotlight could be a better plot than having Bernard performing surgery and, I don't know, doing almost nothing for the plot once again. The same thing with "who goes to get the things at The Staff?"... if Bernard goes they wouldn't be advancing the Dan-Charlotte plot. I guess they dropped the "what would really happen" factor so they could have more of the "what do TPTB want to tell this episode" one, IMHO.

dan can't do anything w/out charlotte? i thought at first they were debating whether dan should go at all now they're letting both of them go together? i would just have dan go and kept charlotte at the beach. i can tell they're definitely up to something if dan wants to help and by charlotte trying to get a peek at what juliet's writing.

We got the explanation in The Constant; he did protect his body but not his head when he was putting Eloise through those experiments.

I kinda trust him because he's supposed to be one of them; he was supposed to be the pilot of 815. He's not there because Widmore or Ben are manipulating the playing pieces, no matter what either one of them think.
I trust Miles a little more than the others because I think he already played most of his cards. Plus, Miles has no loyalty, has shown he's not such a bad guy when it doesn't matter, and he doesn't have much of a poker face.
Bernard should be going with Sun and Jin for the medical instruments, I agree. *sigh* I really hope this is not a bad thing for Jin. I love the way his character has grown and changed. And yeah, redeemed himself.

Lapidus seems like a great character who got caught up in a very bad situation. I really hope TPTB keep him on because he seems made for that island. More moments like Frank meeting the cow please! :)
I love Juliet as the leader - she is definitely my favorite character! At the last minute she wrote down the number "4" next to one of the items on the list. Nothing diabolical! She's really motivated in this clip and really sweet in the other, I love it!

I can even second you on the Miles thing, he's there only for the profits he can make. I also think that after all the past events, he just wants to be safe, that's why he left with Sawyer and Claire. Now, he has powers for sure, he can feel things, like Claire being in danger or how special Aaron seems to be. That's why I want him to become a regular too, he could give some answers.

I definitly do NOT think Dan's suddenly going to whip out some evil powers and start shooting anyone. I don't think he's being puposelly being manipulative--I think he just thought lying was the best way to deal with things, because that's what Charlotte kept telling him to do.

That's why I have always freaking loved Juliet!! When the pressure is on, she's always at her best. She knows exactly what needs to be done and she follows through with no hesitation what-so-ever. When the crises is over she can become totally vulnerable without ever missing a beat. And she's always completely believable. I really hope TPTB keep this character in te mix.

There have been many rumors about Claire but her story will have an important change and, even if she gets killed at first, I know she'll be back, I have no idea how though. I can't either see death for Sawyer anytime soon : )
maybe they can't move jack b/c of whatevers wrong with him? i still don't understand how dan's scolding of charlotte in front of everyone means that both him and charlotte are to go with jin & sun, why not split them up for once? i think the big thing with jack this episode will be what he says while he's delirious. he'll probably only be sick this episode with a little sign he's still recovering when they first show the beach next episode. i wonder how sawyer and claire get seperated from miles & ..aaron? & what happens to hurley going with ben & locke

You can definitely see Frank has a good vibe. I really liked when he talked to Michael on the freighter after arguing with Naomi. In fact, by doing so, he gave me the impression he really wanted to share his opinions on the subject with someone, sad there's no one on that freighter he can do that with in an honest and open sense. In that exact moment is when I thought: he's exactly the kind of person I would like to drink and chat with...

I love Daniel, He is like a little squishie. Last week when he lied I said "That's a bad squishie!"
Right now, the only one of the four freighter crew I trust is Miles. He's finally clued into the fact that he's involved in something way over his head, and I think he's coming the understand he might be just as screwed as the Losties. I think he will throw his lot in with them.
I'd like to trust Daniel, but I think he might have been manipulating Charlotte in that clip. Maybe we'll be able to judge that better after seeing the episode. Frank is a bit of a wild card. I think he's basically a good guy who's gotten caught up in something he's not happy being a part of. Fingers crossed he survives this whole thing and ends up joining the Losties.

I agree with methosrocks, Miles seems like he can be trusted somehow. Looks like he's just as scared of Keamy & co like the others are... (others = camp Locke). AS for Charlotte and Daniel, I would have killed them, or at least locked them away a long time ago... DOn;t trust either one of them.
