That's not Jakob's cabin. Looks more like a Dharma place due to the presence of cages/pipes in the freeze frame shots below. Similar to the hydra.
At 00:12 it looks like the mercenary is holding Ben(?) at gunpoint (look at the silhouette/the hair).
If that is Ben, something bad happens to the mercs because we know Ben is alive and relatively well in the future. I hope it's something really bad that happens.
U cud be right annie. It does look like Ben is at gunpoint. That may very well explain why Locke is hiding in the bushes.
Someone is seen running thru the jungle after Sayid arrives on the island in that raft/boat.

Really does look like Kate pointing a gun at Kate. Could be editing devilry on the part of ABC, but if she used The Orchid, then it's possible (and would be cool).

No we don't know that Ben is well in the future. For all we know he traveled through time to the Sahara and to see Widmore in the few minutes he was in his secret room during episode 9.

Yeah, pretty sure Ben time travels after the upcoming stand-off and not when he went to the seceret room in Other-ville. We know Candle/Halliwax was involved with the ongoings at the Orchid, and Ben shows up in the desert wearing his jacket with a gunshot wound on his arm. I'd bet that they are at the Orchid in the scene from the Promo, and during the ensuing drama Ben gets into the station, throws on Halliwax's jacket (thinking he is headed to the Arctic?), and gets shot in the arm just as he hops in the machine or whatever allows him to time travel.
How can I find the DailyMotion version of this video?

I think the Kate shot is being viewed from two different locations, like there's someone hiding to her left and someone hiding to her right and they're both watching that scene.

I sure hope before LOST is over Evangeline Lilly gets her cute ass out to a real firing range and does some target practice. Every time I see her holding a gun it looks inauthentic. She really needs some training on how to hold and fire one. It's been painfully obvious since Season 1.
I like Evi a lot as Kate. But her handling of weapons when she's this dangerous international criminal type has always bothered me.
Deneph, I think you're right. Someone is ambushing Kate and Sayid, as evidenced by the two hands holding a gun in the screencaps for the first promo below here on DarkUFO.
They look like women's hands to me in that still image. Could it be Harper and some of the Others (Richard?)?
Upon looking at Harper's green shirt on Lostpedia, I think that is Harper holding the gun on Kate and Sayid. Someone is next to her with an old bolt-action rifle. This makes me think the Others are back, or that Kate and Sayid have gone in search of the Temple and have been caught.
