LOST writer Carlton Cuse, along with Ugly Betty writer were a part of a TV and Film Forum in China to discuss their shows and answer some questions about the industry.
Here is a little summary of the key moments from Cuse including some of the spoilers he revealed for Season 5. There is also a tidbit about OGR at Comic-Con.
Thanks to EJ for the details and the heads up about the videos.
1) Jack v Locke (Science v. Faith) - One of the fundamental themes of show. In Season 5 Jack will become more a Man of Faith and Locke will become more a Man of Science. Locke believes his destiny is tied to this island. This will be a story line that we will explore in the upcoming seasons.
2) We will learn what happened to Locke and the others. Also, now what is Locke's destiny since he is in "charge" of the island? He has committed his destiny to this island and thinks that it will lead him to enlightenment. We will eventually see if he is right or not.
3) Locke's story is not over. There is a famous guy named Jesus Christ that was resurrected.
4) We already know what our path is and people make mistakes in theories, because there is no simple answer and they do not have enough information
5) Sawyer is his favorite: Handsome, charming and dangerous, everything he would want to be.
6) He gives a shout out to Skaters and Jaters and then mentions that we call them Darlton. Kate will end up with one of the two eventually.
7) New LOST interactive game start at Comic-Con, register to become a member of Dharma Initiative. Depending on how you do on the test you will be a Physicist, Chemist, or even a Workman.
8) Production starts in August and Season 5 will air from January to May 2009.
9) Talks a about Piracy, online downloading, some things about writing and more.
10) Does being a producer affect your story writing? No, we write first with out being a producer and then put on producers "hat". Explains this is the reason why we got an extra hour for Season 4 finale. Do not want to censor themselves as producers.
11) Discusses picketing during the writers strike and why it happened.
NOTE: LOST info is spread over both clips and some information for Ugly Betty mixed in.

Wow.
Do they always make the comment
"kate will end up with one of the two"
Because, they used it in season 3, and it was Sawyer.
They used it in Season 4, and it was Jack.
Maybe they'll like switch off, or perhaps, have a threesome or create a machine that combines Sawyer and jack together.
Couldn't you imagine that?
Sawyers hair, Jacks leadership skills, Sawyers body, Jacks beard, Sawyers accent, Jack's doctorness :P and of course, a LOT of daddy issues.
Jack becoming more of a man of faith makes sense given where his character is at the end of Season 4, but how and why will Locke become more of a man of science? Does it have something to do with his past promise as a scientist that he turned his back on as a teenager?
I think we my find out that Locke's destiny has never been exactly what he thought it was.
Locke's story is not over. There is a famous guy named Jesus Christ that was resurrected"
Wowzers.
"In Season 5 Jack will become more a Man of Faith"
Good to know. Finally!
"Locke's story is not over. There is a famous guy named Jesus Christ that was resurrected."
Honestly, there's no LOST without John Locke and to see him in that coffin only opened a whole new range of possibilities to this character and I just can't wait :D
"Sawyer is his favorite: Handsome, charming and dangerous, everything he would want to be."
Sawyer is awesome and one of the most compelling characters on LOST, at least, that's what I think. I wonder what kind of role will they give him for the next season, I mean, seems the past season pretty much prepared him for something good :D
T.L.A. said... Locke's story is not over. There is a famous guy named Jesus Christ that was resurrected" Wowzers.
===========
There's also the fact he didn't die until 2008. We have so much to explore about his time on the island and what led up to him being in the casket.
That's season 5.
So, really, this is only really concerned with what'll happen season 6.
What ever happened to Radio Silence?! Shut up!
Please don't resurrect Locke. That's so stupid. So very very stupid. I keep hoping he doesn't die until season 6 and then he can be a ghost or something.
I don't think resurrecting Locke would be stupid... a book says a guy named Jesus resurrected and most of the world believes that shit...
i agree with tey, why the hell would locke become a man of science after all the things he has seen and experienced on the island? that makes no sense and dosnt fit with his character. unless it's not jacks's veiw of science and the majority of the worlds narrow outdated veiw of "science".he mite see a dharma station where they were studyin the island and hav come up with scientific explanations for the the seemingly supernatural things on the island and locke starts to veiw the island as not a supernatural entity but some sort of undefned scientific phenomenon and starts to see things with a evidence based analytical mind once he knows all the secrets of the island. thats the only thing i could think of. or there mite be some idea or unexplainable event or thing that locke cant wrap his mind around or believe that jack does. almost like a role reversal of what they hav been like in the 1st 4 seasons. a bit like the new x-files movie where its hinted at in the trailer, where mulder dosn't beleive in the phenomenon in the new case yet scully does. i hope they dont just make locke not beleive in the island suddenly for some contrived reason. just to do it for a "oh what a twist, locke is the non beleiver and now jack is. thats would b shit.
i'm glad that they r hintin at the the idea of resurrectin locke. lost is not the same without him. i was gettin worried that he was just a long set up tool to get jack to beleive in the island , like how eko was for locke and once he had done his task, was no longer needed once jack was now the island lovin beleiver and would fulfil that role in the show. if that was goin to b the case i was goin to not watch season 6 . ok i lie lol, but it would of been like the season equivelent of x-files season 9 hehe.
even though i didnt really like jack towards the end of season 1, hated him in season 2, thought he was cool in season 3 and loathed and wished he would die in season 4, i must admit, the idea of the drugged up beared island believin jack tryin to get everyone to go back to the island is goin to b really interestin. i mite start to like jack again and by the sounds of the hints that carlton was droppin, he mite bcome 1 of my favorite characters. season 5 is mite be the best season yet (well it wouldnt suprise me. lost does get better with every season, so it's just followin the uphill trend)
I'm not jumping up and down over Locke being resurrected. It depends on how they handle it.
I have a feeling the skaters will win it out in the end, but who knows. This shit is getting old.
@ Jake3988
Yep, that was my initial reaction too. Carlton could easily have gone with the standard 'Hey, he's only dead in the future and that's two years away' response to all things dead Locke related but instead he mentions resurrection.
This is the beauty of catching either Damon or Carlton alone. The other ain't there to say 'shush!' ;)
Eurgh I'm so sick of the stupid love triangle.
Yeah, I said it! :P
Locke being resurrected?? I'm with Scott on this one, I don't like it. It has the potential to be very jump the shark-ish. But I love Locke so I have this hope that he WILL resurrect and that they WILL be able to pull it off... I don't want him to become part of the island conscious, at any rate.
Are you kidding me? They will continue to give the "love triangle" focus?! Are they insane? I thought they had gotten rid of it at the end of s4, and come to their senses, but Carlton even loves it! "Kate will end up with one of them".
The triangle is the one thing that keeps this from being a perfect show. I can't take them seriously. It's so poorly written.
Carlton is responsible for it,huh? So if I kill him, I can take all the rest of the show seriously?
"Locke's story is not over. There is a famous guy named Jesus Christ that was resurrected."
Noooo! They said zombies were season 7.
How am I supposed to buy mature, responsible Kate when she continues to waffle between Sawyer and Jack? Especially now that she had sex with both men? I guess that means I'll continue to hate Kate and Jack until the end of the show. I can't stand characters who show no character growth or whose character growth is utterly unbelievable and happens off-screen.
After watching the video, I feel fine about the comment about Locke's ressurection. Cuse said it more as a joke.
Paraphrasing:
Cuse: Just because he is in the coffin, Locke's story is not over.
Host: Who knows? Maybe he could rise up.
Cuse: There is a famous guy called Jesus who was resurrected.
Cuse's interviews have always lowered my expectations from the show. This one is no exception.
Sorry Niwram can i ask you a question? Please don't kill me! i know that this triangle sucks i'm tired of it too! But when you say that you thought that the triangle was over at the end of season 4, in favour of which side do you mean? kate & sawyer or kate & jack?
I can't watch the video. Could someone kindly transcribe exactly what Carlton says about the triangle? Thanks in advance.
I think Locke's contribution to the island's science effort will be in the context of the fertility problem, as he manages to successfully impregnate all the New New Otherton burlap-clad hotties.
No? No. OK. Anyway...
This is crap! There is nothing here we haven't already heard or figured out. And the f***ing triangle continues!!! The writers are pathetic sometimes! They should get rid of the stupid triangle as well as from a lot of useless characters (i.e. Claire, Jin, Sawyer, Charlotte and all those red shirts)
@ Surly
LOL! I liked your theory! ;)

Agree with you 100%.This triangle is killing the show.
And I'm so tired of this stupid thing.
End it already!!! Please!!!
I hate triangle so much
Hey All,
If you watch the interview:
1) The "triangle" stuff is very minimal and Cuse ONLY brings it up because he is answering questions from the interviewer, not because that is what his intentions were. All he was saying is that eventually she will end up with one of the two.
2) The "resurrection" discussion was a reply to a question of if we will see more of Locke and Cuse basically said that there is more to Locke's story AND btw there is some one famous JC that was...
I was just posting a summary for those that could not watch the whole thing, but sometimes you lose some info in translation.
Hope it was not too confusing.
Thanks
The ODI
Wot?? Jack will built a sweat tent? He has the "substances" already... =D
I hope Jack's newfound faith doesn't make him a easier prey to Ben's manipulations.
I'd like it to be more of a ballance to his empiricism.
And it seems that Locke will confront some scientific aspects of the Island, which will question his beliefs.
surly said: "I think Locke's contribution to the island's science effort will be in the context of the fertility problem, as he manages to successfully impregnate all the New New Otherton burlap-clad hotties." lol
And he loses his faith because instead of seeing a bunch of bald babys the population of hot Other females is threatened :)
But I still have a hope for Lindy (Locke and Cindy).
I agree with cogito, that when Cuse talks about the show it doesn't sound as exciting as when Damon does.
Thanks Odi, have a nice Sunday!
Seems there are some who claim to hate the triangle but that's all they care about. I mean, with all the respect, you're the ones who make a big deal out of it.
Take it easy, people :D
@mne: Locke and Cindy? Shudder. That's worse than Locke and Charlotte! Cindy is a pie-eyed Manson girl! Plus there's the whole fem-mullet thing she's sporting...
I'm holding out hope for Locke and Juliet. They've never even had a scene together, but she's got Helen-level intelligence and maturity and humor so she'd be a good match (and you know TPTB like to give their characters the same shit to work through a second time). She'd be a voice-of-dissent in his ear as he gets Others/Dharma info from creepy Richard. Also, it would heighten his conflict with Ben eventually and make her line at the end of the Other Woman actually be a set up for something and not just a tossaway. And hey, Locke shtupping the doctor would certainly be a step in the "science" direction. So if he gets ANY on the show (which I actually doubt he will), I'm betting Juliet.
lol @ surly.
I also think Juliet would be a great match for Locke, but I never dared mention it because suggesting anything new with anyone from the quadrangle is problem here =D
And as I'm betting Ben killed Locke, this could really justify the "YOU'RE MINE" thing.
It's true, they had never had a scene together... Darlton are keeping the sparkling moment for S5 :)
If you cut Cindy's mullets she's Ok.
But I still prefer Helen. She was a nice woman. Love her voice.
TOW has given the Juliet character a slut reputation in various parts of the fandom and if she suddenly goes for Locke, it's only going to strengthen this belief. Sadly, that's what TPTB have done to her character. They have written her into a corner when it comes to romantic storylines and they probably don't even realize it. I hope we'll get some Locke/Juliet scenes next season (I want to see how O'Quinn/Mitchell work together on-screen) but I also hope that they won't dare to make them romantic.
That's disgusting. Locke should find someone his own age.
Locke: 48
Juliet: 37
Hardly within the realms of disgust. Whatever the nature of their union, I'd love to see the strongest male actor and the strongest female actress sharing some scenes.
Locke isn't old! At least, he wouldn't be an 85 years old man going out with a 20 something year old girl... and that's disgusting, but not because of the age but for what it mostly involves. I mean, 10 or 11 years of age difference is nothing and, what's more important about two people who are getting together is what is in their minds, not their age. Juliet is a mature woman who could perfectly share many good things with a guy like Locke. I never thought of it, but they could possibly make a good couple.
BTW, MNE, I also loved Helen, she was nice, loving, had chemistry with John and yeah, had a peaceful voice. I was sad she and Locke didn't make it :(
I loved Helen as well. Katey Sagal is an amazing actress. What I would give to see her again on the show.
Well, now that I think about it, to have Helen back wouldn't be something as crazy as it sounds. Maybe Jeremy Bentham could pay her a visit... who knows. I mean, the only one to blame about their break up was that monster he had as a father, and I definitely think John deserves some happiness, thus to find love.
i love the fact that jack and locke are switching roles,
jack will start having faith starting from when the island vanished, then meeting claires mom at the funeral. he has to have faith now.
and locke wants to know the islands secrets so bad, dharma was there doing science experiments, alpert wanted locke for science camp, and now he's finally got him. and dont forget ben moved the island with a wheel and some cosmic energy and a purple sky.
i guess that science teacher was right all along. i wonder if he shows up in the magic box
i think lockes destiny is to make sure jack fulfills his destiny as true leader of the island. now jack will have his walkabout

I don't think resurrecting Locke would be stupid... a book says a guy named Jesus resurrected and most of the world believes that shit...
lol!
if the triangle was written better, it would be good, and could be very interesting. instead they have kate bouncing back and forth for an episode or two a peace, its so unrealistic, they should have given each relationship more time to develop, but what ended up happeneing is as soon as it seems like shes develpoping a relationship with sawyer shes back with jack again! they should have done it so kate spends more time with each jack and sawyer exclusively, for like whole seasons, so its not so off and on, back and forth but so they could biuld something a little more meaningful and something that seems like there was thought put into it, nobody does this shit in real life, kate would have been dumped by both of them wayyy long ago. If she was with jack like all of season 1 and 2, officially with him, and THEN fell for sawyer in the cage leading up to the sex, maybe not the "I love you" but if it turned into just pure hot sexual feelings for sawyer but love feelings for jack THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE. or the other way around w/e, but the way they did it, she just seems wishy washy, pissed off at both of them all the time for some reason so she can go back and forth with some sort of exuse to do so, and she cant do anything without one of them, but maybe if they had the relationship that lasted somehow through all that bullshit on good terms until she left the island, there scene in the heicopter would have been more meaningful, because they would have been seen happy together all season and she wouldnt give a shit about jack anymore, until the future so alot of scenes would become better if they just spent more time with it.
Hey niwram, I take offense. I am 40 and my husband is 52. Hopefully we don't disgust our friends...Guess I'll have to ask.
As there are no women Locke's own age on the island, if he's gonna get any, it's gonna skew younger.
As for Juliet and sluttiness...she's lonely, yo. She's alienated and friendless for the most part, and it's pretty normal for someone who feels like that to take affection anywhere it appears. Besides, as far as I know, she's been on the island a number of years, has slept with one man and flirted with another. Hardly slutty behavior, by any standard.
Who said Juliet is slutty?
Come on! To make such a "moral" or, for the matter, value judgment amazes me. Honestly, I feel like a took a trip to medieval times. LOL XD
@dharmabeer: Wow. I suggest Ritalin.
I don't think that Juliet is slutty but there are people (not many but there are a few) on various forums who do call her a slut for having an affair with Harper's husband. Yeah, it wasn't a good thing to do and it's rather obvious that she feels guilty for the way it all played out but as of now, I don't even get the feeling that Juliet did it with more than 5 guys in her life.
Goodwin was married to Harpie...I mean HARPER, for gawd's sake. And Juliet was lonely. Seems like a fairly sympathetic scenario, to me... But I obviously live in a moral vacuum!
...what with my disgusting old husband and all...
Don't worry, Surly... I've been told I'm sad because I love Sawyer but now, thanks to that person, I know he isn't real... that whole situation is worse than having a disgusting old husband, you know? ;)
Bah! I'll just take a ride on my pink, candy floss made, flying unicorn and see if I can finally get to The Island XD LOL
Wow, shoundn't they pick someone that is more into english ;p.
Tamed Cat, honestly, I couldn't understand a thing of what the interviewer asked... only when Carlton answered, I knew what he was referring to... maybe it has to do with the noise mixed with a really strong accent.
Carlton did well to stick with it. I don't think Damon's attention span would have coped ;)
wow they deleated my post, what was so offensive about explaining why a fictional character is a slut lol
I'm really gonna miss that post too, such was it's eloquence.
i'm not sorry i missed it.
Just to clarify, Locke and Juliet did share one scene together at the beginning of season 4 when he tells Jack that he even risked his life to tell them that there is a traitor in their mist. I don't know if people meant they didn't share any scenes alone, but that still would count as having a scene together.
@brianmolsch--
I had forgotten that scene. Thanks for the reminder. They were also together in the scene this season when Jack put the gun to Locke's head--she was the one who told him to stop. But I don't think they've had any dialog together, have they?
I'd hoped they were setting up a Juliet/Sawyer affair for next season. The two of them would be interesting together. I loved their banter when they were heading back from the tower to the beach and Sawyer asked her if she'd slept with Jack aet and she replied, "No, did you?" And the "runway for aliens" was a great comment, too.
Anyway, I think between that little glimpse of humor between Juliet and Sawyer and then Juliet telling Kate that Jack wanted Kate, not Juliet they were moving Juliet on.....my hope was to Sawyer since they were left behind.
^
Reagan, I would really love Jacob to hear you and make them both go together and forget about Jack and Kate... sadly, seems the triangle brings some positive numbers to the show or something and they're not going to let it go.
One thing is certain, I don't want them to go together just to leave one or the other out of place when Jack and Kate come back... that would be cruel.
I really don't see why no one has mentioned this yet...
Earlier posts said that resurrecting Locke would be a shark jump. Um, forget JC. What about CS??? Christian Sheppard was dead in a coffin in Australia and Jack went to give him a ride back to LA but crashed on the Island where mysteriously Christian is "alive" again. No one said that jumped the shark.
I would like to know how that happens with all the formaldihyd. Wait, I got it!!!
I googled my misspelled word to find the correct spelling of formaldehyde and found this blurb:
"The present invention pertains to the field of preservation of human tissue in the field of mortuary science. More particularly, the present invention pertains to a method and preservative composition for embalming a dead body using an enviromentally safe, formaldehyde-free embalming composition."
So, there is a scientific explanation as to how embalmed bodies could be resurrected...no formaldehyde!!!
Please, lord, not a Juliet-Sawyer romance. I think I can take just about anything but that. Nothing against the two actors or their characters, but I've had quite enough permutations of the quadrangle, and it's just too obvious. I really hope they don't go there.
^
Exactly, as much as I would like to see them together (they both rock in my book), it would involve leaving Kate and Jack behind forever (sounds great, isn't? ;)... but that's not going to happen :(
I just hope they have prepared something better than showing us Kate choosing one (like they were freaking chocolate bars at the supermarket), at least... some kind of surprise :D My fool's hope rely there...
Please no Sawyer/Juliet hookup. Sawyer would dump Juliet as soon as Kate sets a foot on the island and the character deserves better than to get dumped for Kate by 2 different men.
Didn't mean to start a big debate on triangles and quadrangles. I just meant that I like them together. They are stuck on an island.... They think their friends are dead.... I could care less if they end up an "item". I just like the small amount of interaction the writers have written for them.
The writers have certainly done worse things to Sawyer. Sawyer with Ana Lucia for an ever fleeting moment made me nausiated. Anything would be better than that....
Please no Sawyer/Juliet hookup. Sawyer would dump Juliet as soon as Kate sets a foot on the island
IMO Sawyer is not going to hook up with Kate again. And Kate is not going to jump Sawyer, Kate is different now, she is a grown up.
That's why I think Sawyer and Juliet is very possible match, and even cool to watch. They might have more in common , than you think.
Juliet is a tragic character, so her story is not going to have a happy ending, IMO. Sawyer is not gonna have it too, as he is too much of a sinner to have happy ever after with anyone.
As a Jack and Kate fan I'm biased, but I think they are fated to be together on the island. "Nothing in the world will keep them apart...." ABC put it better than me.
So , let Sawyer and Juliet have some fun. After all it's not very realistic for Sawyer to be celibate for a very long time. He let go of Kate , and as far as he is concerned he is a free man now.
I would like to see Sawyer with someone other than Kate. Kate didn't contribute much to his character, apart from the realization that he actually is able of love. After that all she did was using him and making him miserable. So, both Sawyer and Kate have grown through each other and have to take care of their new lives. Not going back.
I can't wait for S5! Jack more faith - Locke more science!!!
Cuse - Sawyer is his favorite: Handsome, charming and dangerous, everything he would want to be.
hahahahaha Cuse think this about Sawyer?!?!?! Just it?!?!?!?! Oh God!
@ana paula--and I think Damon has said on several occasions that his favorite character is Jack.
Maybe this explains the triangle! If Cuse and Lindeloff are equals in their pull with the way the plot develops, and they are both projecting their hopes onto their favorite characters...
So Damon and Carlton should just have an oil wrestling match to settle the love traingle question, I reckon.
Two days later...I love how my oil wrestling comment put the nail in this thread's coffin...
surly - "Maybe this explains the triangle! If Cuse and Lindeloff are equals in their pull with the way the plot develops, and they are both projecting their hopes onto their favorite characters...
So Damon and Carlton should just have an oil wrestling match to settle the love traingle question, I reckon."
lol, :)
Its like damon and carlton are fighting over a fictional female that they have created.
**hopes carlton wins!**
@isabelle:
Carlton is a LOT bigger than Damon. I think he'd take it!
News flash for charlie lovers....he died in vain, because desmond's premonition showed claire getting on the helicopter and indeed only aaron was on the copter...therefor charlie not a hero and died for nothing.
News flash for charlie lovers....he died in vain, because desmond's premonition showed claire getting on the helicopter and indeed only aaron was on the copter...therefor charlie not a hero and died for nothing.
Another newsflash: Dying for a cause that is ultimately proved vain does not make the deceased, who believed their sacrifice decisive, any less of a hero. Heroism is a quality, not an achievement.
Time loop theories and the like will keep Desmond's vision within the realms of possibility, if not those of likelihood.
Surly, I don't think that Carlton is bigger than Damon. To me is exactely the oposite! Damon is the creator, with JJ and he stay in almost all significants decisions and interviews about the show!
Now, I think that he and Cuse work together but Damon is the first! They are genious and have personal opinions but I know that in the end, what both chose is: "what is the best to the estory of the show!"
I'm a hardcore JATER and love Damon! And I hope... really hope that his principal choose - Jack - will be the winner in this triangle! My wish is... my wish is... Jate until the end!!!
ana paula--I mean physically bigger. Carlton is taller and weighs more. Therefore, he could win an oil wrestling match.
IMO Sawyer is not going to hook up with Kate again. And Kate is not going to jump Sawyer, Kate is different now, she is a grown up.
That's why I think Sawyer and Juliet is very possible match, and even cool to watch. They might have more in common , than you think.
I'm absolutely sure that Sawyer is gonna hook up with Kate again. They are probably going to give it another shot after she returns in season 6. The question is if it's going to last this time around.
And this is exactly why I hope Sawyer/Juliet doesn't happen. If one of them develops feelings, it's once again going to be Juliet because the stupid triangle rules it out that Sawyer is ever going to feel anything real for her. That's why he would dump her just as soon as Kate sets foot on the island and the Juliet character as well as the actress deserve better than to get wasted on these insulting romantic plots. They can do much better and far more interesting things with her.
Oh, ok Surly, I had thought this way too but your comment makes me think about it! To me, Damon is the major support of the show, yet! Cuse and he are genious together but Damon is... I can't put it in words but, to me, he is the best! And who is decisive to Lost estory!
hahahahaha, I looking forward to Jack, who is man of faith, and Locke, who is man of man of science, it will be interesting, but however Love triangle isn´t interesting absolutely, bleee, and Carlton Cuse, he created Sawyer because he would to want be as Sawyer, hahhaha:))))))
to all fan of sawyer and fan of Sawyer and Kate: hhahahahaha, you don´t know, how it was feelings, when writers did Jacket, I like Jack and Kate together, and when they did Jack and Juliet, so I´m very angry on writers:((
Most of what's said in this interview has been joked about numerous times in Official LOST Podcasts. Damon and Carlton have said numerous times that they hate the idea of bringing dead characters back to life, describing the act of doing so as a "cop out".
Carlton Cuse is hilarious, but he's much funnier with Damon at his side. Those two are an absolute riot, and for proof, listen to the April 16th, 2007 podcast.
Carlton totally loses it.
to all fan of sawyer and fan of Sawyer and Kate: hhahahahaha, you don´t know, how it was feelings, when writers did Jacket, I like Jack and Kate together, and when they did Jack and Juliet, so I´m very angry on writers:((
I'm a Skater and I love Sawyer but the reason why I'm against Sawyer and Juliet getting together doesn't have anything to do with Skate or Sawyer. I'm against it because I don't want to see Juliet as second choice again. They already rehashed that storyline so many times and in my opinion, it isn't necessary to do it again. It's enough that Jack already used her, I don't want to see Sawyer and Juliet using each other as well.
