Is that wind thing natural or is important for the shooting? Also they are near to a lamppost (or the structure from TTLG), does that mean something for the episode? Is Locke making a camp with the Others?
That everytime i look at the tower looking thing i think of the Trinity bomb test.. it looks like a bomb inside a tower suspended for testing.... here is pic of what im talking about.

Go back one set of photos, to "more set photos" You might want to read my comments, that I Posted yesterday, I agree, It looks like a warhead from an (ICBM). I don't know If the trucks will be part of the scene, they may just belong to the crew, but the guy In the BIO suit certainly does not fit Into the crew, part of It.
Just WOW that really does look like a missle top/head cant wait for that storyline
I think the tower is used to dig the swan station. There is some kind of bomb or something, attached to the tower and is pointed down. I think they are filming the Incident and it is about Dharma time on the island.
Those tents look pretty utilitarian, they're probably just part of the shoot gear, temporary hq for the crew and cast.
And the tower might belong to Kualoa Ranch, maybe a device to provide water for flim crews. A lot of film work is done there.
The tents appear to be Korean War vintage Army squad tents.
Every Sci-Fi TV show and movie, from Star Trek to Stargate, weather It's on the space ship or at the ground Installation, There always seems to be a SELF DESTRUCT mechanism or button somewhere. Des thought that if he stopped pushing the button every 108 minutes the world would be destroyed, maybe his world would have, the island. turning the key stopped the count down, and the nuclear war-head In the tower didn't go off. This island seems to be so D*MN Important to everyone, why wouldn't you have a destruct system.
thats a similar setup to one of the weapons testing facilities my dad worked at. For testing of munitions, but by the looks it's not a very deadly weapon, most munitions are tested on flat ground and the tower should be larger (taller).
What's wrong with the video?
Try now ben
Thanks Dark! Works fine again. Namaste!
This is the thing at the bottom of the valley in the promo!!!
