The intact Swan door we see at 00:34 suggests that the island has moved in time and that the people just moved with it.

ARROW DOOR = single door; made of wood - the door in this promo is clearly made of metal or steel - so NOT arrow station...

SWAN DOOR = double doors; steel or metal; looking closely at the footage from trailer, this looks to be double doors also...

Going back to the Island should be shown as a very hard thing to do (given that they have spent so much time on O6 leaving the Island story) and most of Season 5 should be about O6 trying to find the Island. I don't know what Kate is doing. Is she fleeing away not to go back to the Island or preparing to go to the Island? How does Ben know what happen on the island if he can't return, or does someone tell him? Another question, how far back did the Left Behinders go? To when Ben was a child? Or farther back? Lets put it this way: You're on the Island. All of a sudden, the Island changes. The Hatch hasn't been blowed, and peoplr who were dead are alive. The island has not move in time. You are.

Now, you're one the island. You leave and it's 2000. You go back o the island. You leave, and it's 2010. That means the Island moved in time while you were in it.

this is Yemi's plane. both wings are perfectly intact (albeit a little crispy).

The travelling back in time is so awesome. It opens so many opportunities for explanations, plus, what I'm most exited about:

Just watching Season 4's extras and it was nice to see the Flashforwards done in order and the Conspriacy tape LOL!

Really jazzed now for season 5, it can't come quickly enough.

They should not take a break after filming season 5 and get straight into season 6 so that we don't have to wait as long for the final season :D

It is so great: no other show has flashbacks AND flashforwards AND course correction (with scenery changing every time like the photo-frame) AND loops (I guess there will be, it has been hinted by the Horace dream loop sequence) AND never-aging people AND dead people reappearing AND constants AND 'only fooles are enslaved by time and space' AND time-travel AND group-time trave to before the things in the first season started, which will make watching the first season even more exiting ect.ect.

This show is SO cool.

Would the 1884 island be in the same spot as as the 1732 island? After all, it does have the ability to move, what's to say this time was the first time someone moved it? The break occurs around "die". I can almost hear him saying "They w--" rather than "They'd" and "died" rather than "die." It's really dicey, hence, I think, the weird structure. But if it IS structured like that, the grammatical breakdown is this:

"They would die too if I did not come back."

"They would die" is the conditional tense. Them dying is precipitated by the condition of Jack did not come back. My guess is that it's the past conditional, and the whole of what Jack's saying is something like this:

The compass. Locke was approached by Richard Alpert in the very early 60's (“which item is already yours”). However, it seems clear that the Dharma folks arrived on the island in the 70's/80's. In the S5 trailer, it appears that whatever time in the past it is on the island, the Dharma folks have already been there for a long while since at least one station (Swan) is up and functional.

If Jack was destined to be on the island, you could say that course correction would run its course in any manner necessary. Maybe Charlotte's nose is bleeding because they are back in time and she doesn't have a constant, but that would mean it would happen to everyone because as far as I know Faraday is the only one with a constant. See the difference, if the island went back in time, the swan hatch would still be destroyed and we would find the people from that time on the island. If the people on the island went back in time, the island would be from that time and the people would be present time. This is different then what everyone is proposing.

The camera then pulls back (similar to the Season 3 premiere), a strange high-pitched sky-turning-purple-like sound can be heard ... aaaand the Island comes from under the ship (and that's how the Black Rock was found inland on the Island)
