what does daniel faraday say at the end of the clip? it doesn't sound like english
"I'm gonna detonate the hydrogen bomb"
!!!
I'm going to detonate a hydrogen bomb.
And yes, it was hard to understand.
He says that he is going to detonate a hydrogen bomb(JUGHEAD).
yeah it's "a hydrogen bomb" not "the".
Kate doesn't even know it exists.
nice!all three at once!Ha!
ya sry couldnt understand him its definitely the jughead but....thats why he orders pierre chang to evacuate the island, which we know he doesn't cuz of the purge. My guess is that he doesn't evacuate the island, but he makes his son and wife leave because that's who he cares the very most about.
I'm gonna detonate an hydrogen bomb!
WOW!!!
I love how the promos don't show us anything from the "heart" of the episode: the flashback. :)
EPIC! I had to replay the clip at the end again, but I got it the second time, lol. Chang's reaction will be awesome I bet!
That promo gave me chills! lol

Ben, thanks for the transcript!:)
No problem. :)
Ohhh boy.
This is gonna be one intense episode. I'm not liking the whole bomb thing though...something about it feels forced and frustrating. If this does end up being the incident I'm going to be sad...I was hoping it was gonna be Miles and Baby Miles getting too close.
Whatever it is I'll still looooove Lost.
Of course the bomb isn't going to be the incident...if that were so the ENTIRE island would have blown up, which it didn't...obviously. And how can you say the bomb feels forced? We have known about it since Jughead, and it has been talked about every now and again throughout the season.
/rant
AMAZING promo, I am so excited for this episode!! And I spotted Sun and Locke, I didn't know they were going to be in this episode?
Nothing would happen if Miles and Baby Miles touched. NOTHING. And LOST has never implied anything would.
The bomb doesn't have to explode in order for it to be involved in The Incident.
What makes everyone even think The Incident has to have been something destructive?
If someone yells "I have a bomb!", it's still a bomb threat. That could be The Incident, although I hope it's not.
Sawyer and Kate parallel again, Sawyer finding it difficult to give up the fantasy life just like Kate giving up Aaron.
lmao daniel sounded spanish at the end! Stop mumbling, Faraday!
I don't know what you all are talking about...I can understand him perfectly.
Maybe you are spanish then? lol
Duuuude. TEH BOMB. !
I'm thinking Daniel might die before he even gets the chance to detonate the bomb.
No way the LOST island gets blown up in the 100th episode. 'suupriiise. & happy birthday'. nah-ah.
"We don't belong here." Damn right Jack, go in the woods for some action.
I'm so happy we're done with Dharmaville all the time.
& that the old losties are back.
I mean, we got to see them but that was it, now they are finally back/back.
i think he said he's gonna light up his bong
Now I wonder why does he need to detonate the Hydrogen bomb... just burying it under a safe place could be fine, couldn't it? :)
But I'm sure he has a reason for that.
He will die before. There is no way he ever detonates the bomb! Whatever Happened Happened. Bomb never went off. The island is still there. Unless he did it always but due to healing the island healed itself and the Hostiles became the way they are due to that. I hope that is not the road they will take because it is ridiculous! Bomb will not get off. Killer episode..can't wait to see it.
If the Island is so special, why doesn't it have protection against nuclear weapons? OK, the smoke monster couldn't handle it, but what about the exotic material under the Swan? We keep linking Jughead and The Swan, and why not? Maybe Jughead activates the energy under The Swan, releasing enough tachyons to send the losties back to the future a la Doc and the lightning rod circa 1955.
However, the why of Daniel detonating the bomb is paramount to the discussion. Does it have to do with changing WHH? Is it a device for getting them back to their time? Is it an act meant to save the world at the expense of the lives of those on the island? It's time to answer the Daniel-related questions. This episode had better deliver on that, though I expect it will.
OMG the bomb :O!
And Jack is taking actions again! Let's go Jack and Kate!
It's not a sawyer and kate parallel, rather an Oceanic 6 parallel, because pretty much every one of them had to let go of the fantasy.
I cant' wai for this epic episode, looks amazing!
I don't take every thought that runs through my mind serious, but some deserve consideration.
The most recent one?
The H-bomb could be the variable!
The bomb was supposed to go off all along. And now everything, I mean EVERYTHING that is happening on the island is time correcting itselve. The people that have died so far were supposed to be dead allready or not even be on the island (but crash in the ocean, or die elsewere anyway). Most people that are still alive will die soon and the ones that will survive will be the ones that didn't have anythinh to do with the island originally, but were only used to get the ones that did to the island in order to die.
As a result of the course correction some strange phenomena occured which resulted in many secondary course corrections which resulted in tertiary course correction which resulted in quaternary course corrections which resulted in quinary course corrections and so on and so on.
For example, when you place a spoon on a table it seems to you that the spoon was allways supposed to be there. Now, if you go back in time with a magnet and place it alongside the spoon the spoon will move to a new location. When you go back to your previous time, you will see the spoon at it's new location along with the magnet. This would be a wrong situation according to the universe so it has to coursecorrect things. Taking away the manet would leave an acceptable situation with the spoon being somewhaht displaced but not too much to have an effect on other things. Unless someone dies because the spoon is on a different location. This would require further actions to be taken and the dead of this person will have to be prevented by it. Whatever happened, happened so a different approach is needed and time itselve would have to timetravel (curling back in to itself) in order to set things straight. After so many curls and timeloops and -leaps and whatever it may result in the only solution left, being the elimination of the spoon leaving you at the table with the only conclusion left: there is no spoon!
Haven't they already buried the bomb?
Hahaha, that was hard to understand. DETONATE THE BOMB: I knew it!
So Faraday totally changed his opinion on the Whatever happened, happened theory? What the F!!!! He was the one making this rule previously.
Okay, sounds like a really cool plot!
I speak spanish, maybe that's why I also understood Dan perfectly the first time. XD lol ;) (good one, OutraJess!)
Anyway, feels like this episode is going to rock big time and another! :DDDDDD Dan needs to do what he has to do, you know, 'whatever happened, happened' but I also love how he tells: "Anyone of us can die, Jack"
'Sides will be chosen'. I suppose this means Jack and Kate will go into the jungle and James and Juliet will stay and I don't blame them, they have been living there for three years. Fantasy or not, that has been their life, they have constructed something there, and becoming Others wasn't an option anyway.
He's going to blow the Island up so that Charlotte will never go to it in the future and will be saved.
Wow! I never would have figured out what Faraday was saying at the end on my own, Thanks for the translation guys. Thi sis agreats how. I mean, This is a great show. lol
I'm still thinking about what Desmond said to Jack in episode 6. "These people, they are just using us! They are playing some kind of a game, and we are just the pieces."
i think he said he's gonna light up his bong Ha Ha :) So Danny Boy is gonna destroy the island eh? That should keep Charlotte from returning for sure!
He more then likely fails but whatever he does do will probably cause the pregnancy problems from the levels of electro-magnetic radioactivity...(or whatever). I'm calling it.
Am I the only one who noticed that DANIEL IS BLEEDING AT 0:30min O___O !
There is nothing at 0:30.
My bad, I'm sorry : HE'S BLEEDING AT 0:07 !
Take a look between his neck and his shoulder...
It's full of somthing red-coloured. And Daniel's wearing two shirts this episode, a black shirt with black dharma jumpsuit, and a white shirt with gray dharma jumpsuit.
He's bleeding ^^
Maybe he will die from the timetravel sickness (a la Desmond) because he's in a lack of a constant? We know that something will happen to him while he is in the sub coming to the island. So, I don't know why exactly (probably because he was exposed to a lot of radiations due to his experiments) but he could be running out of time.
Don't you read spoilers, Hugues ^^ ? We already know how it's gonna be...
But I'm glad to see it's a full-Daniel episode. And looks like we're gonna have some Locke scenes =).
He's got a new shirt by the way ^^.
can't wait to finally see desmond and faraday back, its been too long
No onilink I didn't read that. I already read too much. Damn you spoilers!
Nothing would happen if Miles and Baby Miles touched. NOTHING. And LOST has never implied anything would. In the 2007 Comic Con video with the bunnies, Dr. Haliwax doesn't want Bunny 15 and Bunny 15 From the Future to go near each other.
A thought about the bomb.
We know that ABC PR likes to play with us on the promos.
So, we should expect things to be placed out of context. i.e., Juliet appeared to be hostile toward Kate in the promos, but in context it was not so.
Perhaps Daniel's statement is not a threat, but part of a solution:
Hurley: Dude, the power is out, now how am I going to bake the quiche?
Daniel: I know a source of energy,
Hurley: Where will you get that much?
Daniel I'm going to detonate a hydrogen bomb.
hurlay: Wouldn't that, like, vaporize the quiche? Dude, you're a bigger
douchebag then Chang.
Part of the question to be asking is:
What use is there in setting off a hydrogem bomb? What do we gain?
Energy, a big light show, vaporizing stuff.
I don't think Daniel waited three years just to blow up the island just in hope that Charlotte won't return.
I doubt the bomb will destroy the island.
It's probably something like. If the bomb explodes, the island goes bye bye.
However, if he uses the swan to open a time tunnel, then he can put the bomb somewhere in the middle and detonate it. So the explosion doesn't go anywhere.
"We don't belong here". Damn right you don't. Thank you Jack. I didn't think you needed to state the obvious, but considering the reply you got, it seems that you do need to (state the obvious, that is).
I'm guessing detonating Jughead will bring them back to the future (where they DO belong), and that it causes the Incident (only Daniel doesn't know it causes the Incident), and the Incident exharcebates the Pregnancy problem (which was sort of a problem before, as they mentioned pregnant women were sent off the island to give birth and Ame was having a tough delivery).
All of this still abides to the rule that wahtever happened, happened, we're now just seeing HOW it happened. And why.
I bet he has to set off the bomb because he cant let the incident happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
