Thanks to DarkUFO reader lostforeever for sending over the following.
Here are some pix I got of Dharmaville on October 21..the houses used for LOST were intentilonally dirtyted up from the other dorms as they are very clean, (the rec room was newly painted) and as you can see the swing set has been practically demolished, not something that would happen naturally since they used it last year in Season 5's Kate and Roger scene; so deliberate or what?

Whoever wrote the story has it wrong. The reason why the playground is messed up is because of what the guys from the freighter did in Season 4. Remember when Sawyer saved Claire from explosives and such? This is Dharmaville in the present time with Ben, Sun, etc., not the 70's where Jack and co. are.
But anyway, nice photos, glad to know we get to see some more New Otherton.
In response to the sources question:
It actually makes perfect sense that the swing set would be broken, and that the barracks would still be a wreck.
I have no idea which characters have been filming there this year. But Ben, Sun, Lapidus, et al are all in 2007/2008 'Island time'. And I can only assume that Jack, Kate, Sawyer and company are, as well, now - since some of them have had scenes with Claire and Cindy.
And in 2007/2008 'Island time', the barracks are still destroyed from when Keamy, his team, and the smoke monster ran roughshod over them in. ;)

I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't post any pix that the actors themselves may not like out there, I know I wouldn't want any like that of me. Just as I wouldn't say anything bad about them either. I love LOST and it's cast and respect their privacy; the crew were so nice to us that day and if we fans keep doing this, we can continue enjoying seeing them like this. Hope you understand.
BTW they are not bad...just he may not want an image with a smoke in his hand.

Probably enough to bend the swing set...Atleast it appears so.

There are 2 different swingsets there. Does anyone remember that? (Slide is broken off near the top in one, twisted on the other; different gliders on the sets.)

Well it was strong enough to take down flight 815 (and perhaps 316)
the swing set is the same, they just dirty it up due to this being the present time.
the swingset was taken down the other day as they were shooting something action related i was there after and techs were replacing a broken window and kicked in door. i think they were also going to put the swingset back i was told. can you all tell this was the best vacation ever!?!
