There's gonna be 4 New Series Regular this year then.
Things are getting bigger, good to know.
Good I think...
Thought so!
So the new regulars are Nestor Carbonell, Jeff Fahey, and Zuleikha Robinson. PLUS Emile de Ravin is returning. So assuming that everyone except Mader, Davies and Mitchell is main cast and assuming that there aren't any more...we're now at 15.
Besides illana and richard, who are the other two regulars?
Amazing timing Corvus lol

Jeff Fahey (Frank Lapidus) and Emile DeRavin (Claire Littleton).
@Rcatz: The other two new regulars are Frank (confirmed in a interview with Damon) and Claire, who is new in the sense that she wasn't one last year.
Am I the only one who doesn't care for Illana? I really don't like her, at all. Ana Lucia was so much better. Ooooohhh...new poll.
She is the first cast member that is featured to not be in the Comic Con picture this year!
meh....just so she doesn't suck up all the screen time from the regulars. After Juliet and Mikael, I've never really cared for the new characters. I'd much rather see the original losties much more for the final season.
TPTB promised much death this season so maybe she will be one...cool
Hitching a ride, she'll be dead before the end and I agree Ana Lucia much better.
I don't care for her either. I know she'll have many answers to give be she is just....blah.
Seems kind of...unimportant. Maybe because we don't know the whole story yet.
From reports, Ilana is Jacob's daughter, so I think she'll end up being an important figure (and one of the good guys) based on that.
@ No Name 815 Survivor:
Unless Jacob turns out to be a bad guy himself ;-)
Not so psyched about this, still not sure about how i feel about ilana and the egyptians (is there a nickname for her group?) they're kind of dry with little personality. i'm not a fan of bram either, he says every line in a "are you talking to me" tone with inflections on the wrong words. maybe i'll change my mind about her in the final season
I remember watching New Amsterdan and thinking Zuleikha would have made for a more sympahetic/less hostile Ana Lucia, and that a lot more fans would have taken to her character. Funny how things work out.
But I'm not mad she got an upgraded role. She's obviously not a fan-favourite, so she'll certianly be a key player and I can't begrugde the writers for wanting to tell their story and not the fan's.
come on guys. wee need a cool chick;D
I'm glad Ilana will be full time this year. It took me awhile but I really started to like her character towards the end. Coupled with the new info we've gotten over the hiatus, I have a feeling I'll like her character even more.
And yea, we do need another cool chick. Juliet was the best female character we've had, imo, and now she's gone. Ilana might be a good replacement, although I won't care as much about her being that we had 3 full seasons of Juliet.
I'm really glad she'll be a regular. I thought her initial scene with Sayid about why people drink really expensive scotch was quite interesting. And come on, she's Jacob's daughter! That's insanely intriguing.
That said, I can understand why people have not warmed up to her yet. We don't know much about her story, so it's natural for folks to worry that she may take time away from stories we do already know and care about. In the end, though, I think her story will prove to be one of the most interesting of the 2nd tier characters.
I like this. Not sure why everyone is complaining. She's a badass! And a looker.
...and better than Ana Lucia ;-)
They should've kept Elizabeth Mitchell... the excuse about how 'they were out of story for her' was ridiculous...
None of the 316ers have been remotely interesting. When she first showed up with Cesar, the first thing that popped into my head was "Dammit, still no answers but more new characters? F this!"
I was glad Ben took him out before he had a chance to suck up any more screen time, and I hope that his comeback is short as well, or at least that he and the other 316ers either get some awesome storyline or stop acting like zombies.
Meh.
I hope we find out why she was in this hospital where Jacob visited her. And what happened to her before. But I agree that there are more important things to concentrate on.
I don't care for Ilana either btw but it seems she will have importance to the story.
Totally Sucks what a waste giving air time to characters no one really cares about. The story could be told without her. I hate bringing new characters on in the final season when they could focus primarily on the characters we know and love (Love includes Desmond, Ben and Juliet)
