Thanks to Ryan, our man in Hawaii, for the following filming report. Does this mean we're getting an early Hurley flashback? Is Lance Riddick a doctor at the SRMHI? any Libby connections?
Report from a friend I sent over there (as I'm stuck at work - bother!). Jorge Garcia and (apparently) Lance Reddick at the Laniakea YWCA in downtown Honolulu, the mental institution location. Reddick had a doctor's briefcase. More details if and when available!

Sounds like a flashforward character since Reddick is supposed to be a Season 4 regular. If this was a flashback scene, I doubt we would be seeing him throughout the season.

I totally called that hurley flashback. (or forward)
Actually I visited that set (thanks to the tip from Ryan) on our last day in Oahu and saw a lot of the people on it. Most were dressed in robes and pajamas (more Hurley mental institution time no doubt) and yes, it appeared that Reddick was a doctor. He was dressed in a suit with a doctor's briefcase. From where I was sitting he kept walking into a room for repeat takes of the same scene. Libby was nowhere to be seen but I did get the chance to meet Jorge Garcia. Very cool guy. Interesting connections though, make what you will of all that.

Reddick, with a doctor's bag, at San Sebastian? If his was a one-shot character, I wouldn't think much of it. But everything we've heard says Reddick's going to be around awhile.
Wish we knew whether the character's just dropping in at SS or is staff there. SS gets even more sinister.. wonder if Swoosie Kurtz (Emily Locke) is on the island?

Hmm... Seems like the second episode is Hurley-centric. And I bet this is the Christmas episode.
DarkUFO, it would definitely make sense given Jack's condition in the so called present. Or if it is another character connection but I personally doubt it.
Perhaps we should think about Lance's role--it has been described as a "corporate recruiter".
