- Jeremy Davies to play character called Daniel Faraday
- Season 4 Premiere is NOT Sawyers as has been mentioned but is in fact Hurley's unless they are shooting out of sequence.

No, that is not true, over 99% of all the spoilers posted on the spoilers section turn out to be true. The ones posted in the Rumours section are a little unreliable.
The problem we have at the moment is that with the long break, a lot of the scenes, episodes can be shot out of sequence ie they may decide to shoot some Episode 2 scenes before Episode 1 scenes etc.
This leads to some confusion.
The latest info I have from a very good source is that Episode 1 is Hurley's UNLESS they have shot the episodes out of sequence.

Well, then I'm sure they must be shooting some scenes out of sequence. We know for sure that they shot some Sawyer flashback / flashforward scenes 2 weeks ago, supposedly for episode 1. They shot Hurley flashback / forward scenes this week, and there's no way they have been busy with only episode 1 for the past month. So either episode 1 is still Sawyer and epi 2 is Hurley or the other way around, but only shot in a different order.
Just thought of a possibility: we know that Lance Riddick was spotted during the filming of the Hurley scenes. Maybe when filming started on episode 1, Lance was not in Hawaii yet, therefore they postponed the episode 1 flashback scenes, and filled the time by starting episode 2 flashback scenes (Sawyer-centric) I dunno, just can't think of any other reason to shoot out of sequence. If I'm correct things like that usually hapen when either actors / locations are unavailable...?
The Sawyer scene that was mentioned was a car chase or something, maybe they had to film that scene early for some reason. Maybe they needed good weather and just wanted to get it out of the way. They have so much time this offseason spoilers could be very difficult to decipher.

i was thinking, and this news might be enough to propel Hurley to a win in this round of the character cup.
It would be awesome to see a Hurley centric episode so soon, being the Season 4 Premiere would be awesome. & to see Libby again, explaining why she was in the same mental institute as Hurley was would be cool too.
But if it turns out to be a Sawyer Centric, that would be cool too as he deserves one.
Also it would make a change from a same old Jack Premiere Centrics.

No way. Lost? Shoot out of sequence? Never would they try to fool us like that. I'm 99% sure that they shoot every scene exactly in the order they will appear on our TV sets. Oh and I'm 98% certain that the premiere is Jack centric. That would be ridiculous to shoot scenes out of order unless like someone else said, actors/locations would be unavailable or they were waiting for a certain kind of weather or certain stuff for stunts or anything like that. Never. Locations and actors should drop everything they are doing and be available for shooting just so Lost can shoot everything in sequence so as not to confuse the spoiler hounds.
(Can you sense the sarcasm?)
i wouldn't list anything as a spoiler unless you wanted to say early episodes will feature a hurley centric and a sawyer centric episode.
Also it is completely out of the question that they do away with "centrics" and mix FB and FF in the same episode, right? After all its in the writers' contracts that they couldn't mix like a sawyer FB and jin/sun FF into the same episode. If I were a writer thats what I'd do. I'd change the "centrics" to "themed" maybe say show a few people's redemptive attempts. After all, Heroes of course, which follows Lost closely in format, only focuses on 1 character per episode, right?

Yeah, because they have the luxury of time... I have a feeling things like the flashforwards may be filmed together all at once.
That way you don't have to keep constantly moving people (and some scenes use sets, not on-location).
It'll minimize cost and it'll minimize inconvenience.
Even more to consider is guest actors. If John Terry really is there, I'm sure they'll try to film all his sequences all at once so they don't have to bring him back.
Things like that. Lots of things to consider.
What if the premiere has multiple flashbacks?
I'd like to add that Russell Farraday is one of Randy Flagg's many aliases. Probably not a coinky dink.
With this way of shooting it may actually be easier to bring Nestor Carbonell back... Does anyone know if Cane has finished shooting or when it will do?

Since both Sawyer and Hurley are on the beach and that is probably where the boat people will land on the island, it is likely that both characters will have a big role in the season opener.
Whether it is centric around one or both is a guess, but they will likely be in the (welcoming?) party that meets Naomi's group.
I think Sawyer will figure out quick that they are up to no good and be the first Lostie casualty.
Hopefully he will take some of the bad guys out wth him.
I hope this time none of the Losties will die in the first six episodes...
What if:
-Saywer is in Hurley's FB
-Hurley is in Saywer's
-It is off Island scene-remember D&C said a chapeter of lost would be off island
-it is a FF
-mixed FB's like they did in Piolt of season 1.
WE DONT know anything yet, when the say there was a "game changer" i take that to mean the game has chaged... and it could be all new formatting.

The good news is, we know, at the very least, there is an early Hurley episode. Amirite? Even if it isn't the first one, it's still probably one of the first three episodes, as I doubt they'd give the casts scripts for episodes too far into the future.

Didnt they film some flashbacks in other places, and Santa Rosa in Hawaai? It might just be budget wise decisions to have them film this scene first.
Maybe it's a Hurley centric episode, that also has Sawyer doing a car chase.

All very excellent points guys! I think a Hurley episode is needed, after just one, but then again, Sawyer, Sayid, Claire, and Ben only had one too. Personally, if they aren't going to do a Jack, I think they should do Sawyer, but who knows what thier thinking especially if Lance Riddick is in there, and is supposed to be a regular...

Anybody remember Jorge said he had to shoot like a friday his first scenes and the actual filming would start the following week's wednesday or thursday? It would be cool to see a Hurley-centric season-opener... and the pictures from the shoot show him in santa rosa!!! :D
Izzy at Spoilerfix is the one who had said that "multiple sources" had "confirmed" that Ep. 4-1 will be Sawyer centric. Izzy has had a pretty good track record so far. Meaning no offence to you, Dark, or to Rebeccah, I'm reserving judgement on the "Hurley gets the premiere" spoiler till we learn a little more.

For all we know they could be shooting stuff for the mobisodes. They said the main characters would be in those, so who knows?

I thought Sawyer was a logical place to start, but I'm flexible as to who'd be a good choice for the first centric. (Except for Jack... I'm at my limit there.) If Desmond makes it to shore quickly with his news about Charlie's death, then I can certainly see it being Hurley's episode. Poor guy's going to be heartbroken. :(
While I'm chatting with you, any news/rumors about those Mobisodes we were supposed to get? I had the impression those would start with the new Fall TV season. Obviously, I was mistaken about that. TIA
