Massive thanks as always to Team Susan (Transcript Susan and Video Susan) for the following.
[Shows the number 23 on a door. Beeping Alarm. People running. Ben comes into hallway. Juliet is standing outside the door of room 23.]
Ben – What’s happening?
Juliet – He did it again.
Ben – Did what again?
Juliet – You know.
Ben – Well, you’re going to have to tell him to stop doing it.
Juliet – I’m not going in there.
Ben – Fine. Get Beatrice.
Juliet – She’s not going in there either, Ben. None of them will. Tom won’t even bring him food. They’re all scared. Look, Ben, his father is out there looking for him. We could bring him back.
Ben – No.
Juliet – This is your responsibility. You were the one who wanted him here.
Ben – Jacob wanted him here. He’s important. He’s special.
Juliet – He’s dangerous.
Ben – He’s just a kid, Juliet. He’s a child.
Juliet – He’s just a child? Come see. [They go outside.] What kind of child does this?
[Looks at a boarded up window up above with dead birds on the ground below. Ben and Juliet look at each other.]

what no comments!?! first, cool video
OMG!!!!! Walt is rock :-))))))
holy crap...you go walt...!!
"just a child"
wow - an excellent mobisode for once, nice
wow that mobisode rocks!!!
so thats why juliet was happy that michael was going to get walt off the island... its because she thought walt was dangerous!!!
You can't mess with Walter Dawson and hope to get away with it.
Finally, one of these Missing Pieces actually included some missing pieces.
why doesnt Walt just kill the Others and walk out of there if he can kill birds? or is there some "power hierarchy" where the "lower species" of the world are easier to kill? or do we just wait for all the Others to get shot?
(better ... but still lame... and the dialog is way too comic-book still.)
Wow! what an awesome mobisode again! I didn't excpect to see something to do with Walt :o Thanks for team Susan and Dark :)
and savagist, I don't think Walt killed the birds... well he did kill the birds but I think he dragged the birds so the birds hit the wall and died. Something like in 1x09.
Wow, this is awesome!! It took me a minute to figure out it was Walt but as soon as it came to me, I was stunned.
This was the best of the best mobisodes, and it gave a glimpse what happened - it actually gave an answer. I never expected that from a mobisode. :-)
Walt was the new sheriff in town.
Awesome. Need a new category to rate this one.
"He did it again." <-- I'm guessing, as we all have thought for some time now, that he was able to project himself (to Shannon) from that room.
He kills controls birds into windows when he's angry. Jesus, he must have been pissed! Did he leave any birds on the Island alive? I wonder if he can do the same with the Hurley-bird??
With Michael coming back, I hope we can finally learn what's so special about Walt in the next season. It's annoying hearing people say how Walt is special. How is he special?! Still waiting for the answer.
excellent mobisode (finally)! Did annyone get a good look at the birds? I'm wondering if Claire's tagged birds are amongst Walts casualties...
I was thinking exactly the same thing, Stewpitt. They looked like the sea birds - though, Walt got freed before Claire tagged the bird so it's probably not there.
Wow that was scary! all those dead birds.. I Loved this mobi! thanks susan and dark!
great mobisode..!but how does walt do that..?
@lostworld: he did the same in the first season with his mum and stepdad, d'you remember? a bird outside the window died in that episode too because of him! Of his special powers!
Regarding the birds seen at the end of the clip;
It looks like about 5 gulls (similar to those Clare tagged), a couple of large black birds (like crows, ravens) and a few smaller birds; a couple dark, the rest light including a couple that look like cockatiels (small parrots).
yep, that was pretty hot.
@stewpitt: They're on Hydra Island. There are bound to be gulls nearby, since they can't get very far "inland."
And yeah, since Michael and Walt left on Day 67ish, this would have happened at LEAST two weeks before Par Avion.
But then again, why in the hell am I splitting hairs about TIME on Lost Island? Anything could happen.
@nman: Oh, Walt being enigmatically "special" is great! I think it's one of the cornerstone's of Lost's mythology, and once we find out, a lot of the mystery will be over. I think the whole "specialness" of Walt and Locke will be one of the last mysteries revealed.
Birds are known to navigate with the help of the Earth's magnetic proprieties. In a way they have a compass in their heads.
I suppose Walt can somehow manipulate the magnetic field of the island, or maybe his own bio-electro-magnetic field is empowered by the islands (nevermind the pesudoscience mumbo-jumbo, it's a show after all). Enough to drive the birds off course and confuse them...or something.
That was AWESOME! It finally fills in a gap we knew next to nothing about.
So... the Others try to brainwash Walt using Room 23, and what they get instead is some sort of psychic whammy-jammy that causes dozens of birds to crash through the window, and who knows what else that scares the crap out of people like Ms. Klugh, Tom and Juliet. No wonder they agreed to getting him off the Island. This is easily the "best" mobisode yet, full of new information that really fleshes out a true mystery.
He's doing it again...
The look in Ben' eyes is priceless.
Wasn't Room 23 where they had Karl strapped to a chair with the glasses on? Do they have Walt strapped in the same chair? If so, I'll bet he's pretty pissed.
I was thinking about how Ms. Klugh threatened to take Walt back to the room when Walt was visiting his father in the fake camp. They didn't seem to be treating him as though they were afraid of him.
This mobisode must be set after they released Michael back to get the people on the list.
very cool little video, I wish we had more behind the scenes info like this.
I like the idea that Walt was terrifying the Others with his "unique" abilities. This was another fun mobisode.
Awesome mobisode! This does fill in some major gaps. No wonder they were so anxious to get rid of Walt.
Pissed Walt must have been like hell, 'cause I guess it might take a lot to scare Juliet and Ms Klugh. Normally they are the scary ones :)
Awesome mobisode!
Thanks a lot Team Susan and Dark.
Thanks Dark & Susan. Best mobisode yet. {with Jack & Ben chess game in 2nd}. I forgot what Bea Klugh said about Walt; something like has he been in places he shouldn't have? Not only is it pretty scarey but very intriguing at the same time. That's what I love about Lost. I hope we will see how Walt got his special powers come Season 4!!
Is the video file broken or something? I can play all the previous mobisodes excellent, but this one stops where Juliet says, "She’s not going in there either, Ben. None of them will." Does somebody have the same problem as I do, or is it only about me?
Loved it. I think all the missing peices have been awesome and a totally cool extra for the fans.
I am sick of Walt killing birds. WTF why why why.
Easily the best mobisode so far. We actually got confirmation that Walt was being kept on Hydra Island and that the room Ms. Klugh mentioned was Room 23 (something that had been suspected but never proven). We also learn that it was supposedly Jacob who wanted Walt.
This scene has to take place at least a few days after Walt's kidnapping (since Walt's had time to freak out all of the Others) but at least a day or so before Ben's capture. That places it around halfway through Season Two, give or take.
Also, to add, Juliet's comment that Walt's father is "out there looking for him" suggests that this takes place before the scene in "Exposé" where Ben explains the plan to trap Michael to Juliet. I guess that actually places this scene less than halfway through Season Two, maybe around the same time as Shannon's death.
I Long ago posted that Remote viewing & the Montauk Project seemed connected to Lost
This mobisode seems to fit with my asertion :)
And was the Inspiration behind my Lostauk Project Video.
Remote Viewing Via a chair.
Manifesting Monsters
Missing children
Timetravel.
Too many connections to be an accident.
Great Mobisode
Heh, I called it about Walt's "room" being "Room 23".
I didn't predict the birds though lol.
And no, this does not take place after they send Michael to the beach with the list. It takes place before Michael even gets to the Others, because they say, "His father is looking for him", meaning that he still has not been caught.
Nice, very cool mobisode. Someone suggested that by 'he did it again' they were talking about Walt projecting himself to claire. Well, I'm not exactly suren, because Walts behavior wasn't exactly helpfull..., and how did he know about the things he talked about (button and stuff). But still, it could be. But I think that was Smokey/Island. I think the others were talking about him talking to Michael... although, coming to think of it, that isn't consistent with the fact that Michael was allready looking for him. Hm, difficult.
And what is also cool, are the boarded up windows. Once I read a theory about the others knowing that children, by their lively imagination, could do special things (like creating things that weren't there). And that they took the children to keep them in a controlled, sealed off environment for protection (so they cannot create stuff). The windows seem to support that theory :D
What a fantastic mobisode!!! I want more! This was just a huge tease for Season 4 - February can't come soon enough!
i think they put Walt in room 23 AFTER he did something... great movisode!!!
holy crap very cool mobisode!!
So the writers are gonna explain scientifically how this kid can do the things he does....how exactly?
Classic Lost. Great mobisode!
If anyones interested I reckon I've narrowed down the exact day that this scene took place....
If my calculations are correct - it can only be Day 47... it's the only time that Michael is actively "out there looking for walt" (ie when he went awol from Ana-Lucia etc).
so 3 days after he gets taken from the raft....would make sense I guess, that Mr Friendly took him straight to Hydra Island on the boat...
I think, "he did it again" means that it's not the first time he crashed birds against the window, and that's why it is boarded up. since this "mobisode" takes place in the "past" and is so cryptic, I think it will be elaborated in a future FB.
By the way, I didn't see mobisodes 1-4, how can I get a look at those?
bad.. ass..
i think walt was using his powers to try and escape, by using birds to crash through the window. that's why they had to board it up.. to stop him from escaping.
Buttons said: "I think, "he did it again" means that it's not the first time he crashed birds against the window, and that's why it is boarded up"
Great job genius. No one would have ever figured that out if you weren't here to help.
I'm beginning to wonder if Walt caused Ben's cancer.
@ bongzilla.
I don't think that Walt caused Ben's Cancer. He wasn't on the island when he was diagnosed with Cancer by Juliet. "2 days after I had been diagnosed with cancer, a surgeon fell from the sky" (parafrasing Ben)
Quick thinking Stewpitt! Too bad though, it would be intruiging, allthough I think Walt had a good heart and wouln't do that.
@Buttons: You can see them at the trailers part of darkufo.
"He did it again." - Juliet
"Has Walt ever appeared some place he wasn't supposed to be?" - Bea
"I saw Walt." - Shannon
'nuff said
Thanks, stewpitt. Of course you're right.
Bad ass!
That is the best mobisode yet. I hope the keep getting better & better. This is one of the main mysteries that I want solved. Walt's powers & why he is so special.
I like the idea of Walt beckoning the birds. He will be the key to get Jack back on the island. I can't wait for the new season to start.
Ben, talking to Michael at the Pala Ferry dock after the sky turned purple:
I'm not happy about the arrangement that was made with you Michael, but we got more than we bargained for when Walt joined us, so I suppose this is what's best.
Yeah, based on this, I'd say The Others got more than they bargained for! :-D
I hope to see a lot of Waaaaaaaalllllllttttttt in Season 4. His dad, not so much.
I Long ago posted that Remote viewing & the Montauk Project seemed connected to Lost
The Swan Orientation film mentions parapsychology, there's been little snippets of experiments in that in various DHARMA films. I think The Whispers are people using remote viewing because if you read the transcripts at The Fuselage, they read like people watching something but having trouble doing so. A cool part of the show, IMO.
OMG! I waited till now to see it in full quality and woooow. First I thought it's Karl, but the birds proved me wrong...
So now we KNOW Ms. Klugh meant Room 23 in Three Minutes... wooow.
And as for Walt killing birds... I don't think he did it on purpose - just like I think he didn't do it on purpose in Australia in that flashback...
