I knew it would be Kate and Sawyer, and I LOVE Jack's expression
Jack looks drunk!
Sawyer's on the chopper??? WTF????
Looks like 4 of the Oceanic 6 make it to the freighter by chopper.
awesome! thank you!
Locke telling Jack "just wait until you see what im about to do" = amazing
Hee! I love Jackface.
Though Sawyer making out with Kate while Jack's like...dying? That's awkward. Not much of a mood...but my mind is wandering. Looks good!
Kate and Sawyer in the future is the kiss.
So I guess the big kiss is between Sawyer and Kate.
I wonder what happens to Frank and Sawyer.
...ODI, you labeled the picture of Sawyer and Kate "spectacularkiss".
Thanks for the answer, I guess :)
Take a look at Sawyers cheek in the "kiss pic". Is it just me or does it look like its dissappearing or dissolving away.
I guess Sawyer is the "too much weight", and he gets off the chopper to make room for Kate (or for them all to go on). Hope this doesn't happen in midair, though.
As a matter of fact, I hope it doesn't happen at all, because then the promo will have in effect spoiled the whole "spect. kiss" thing 2 weeks ahead of time, for everyone, even people who don't read spoilers...:(
cgriff: that's his hair.
I think it is in mid-air, because Jack tells Frank not to go back to the island, so I think Sawyer kisses Kate and jumps out of the helicopter to save everyone.
Locke and Jack butting heads again!! I can't wait...now I just hope it's not Locke in the coffin...*crosses fingers*
Juliet: Don't bleed to death.
He looks to be doing just that, but everyone knows there is no chance of him dieing in present time. I have a feeling after the Kate-Saywer kiss, Sawyer will jump off the copter to get rid of extra weight.
Well, guess we know who the spectacular kiss is between! Off-island indeed, those clever TPTB monkeys.
Have to say, I was pretty sure about this one--figured we'll have to wait awhile for Des and Penny's reunion.
Looks awesome. And I agree--"Just wait til you see what I'm about to do." Sounds like a kid about to do his first flip off the monkey bars. Gotta love Locke!
It would make the most sense if Hurley would jump out I guess but it seems like Sawyer is gonna jump.
Looks like Locke's got his swagger back. Jack is feeling the effects of overexerting himself after his surgery hence the drunk look. Sawyer will kiss Kate and bail in a heroic move. Locke will move the Island. I don't know what will happen to Ben but I'm looking forward to more Socke next season!!
That isn't the spetacular kiss because this is in 4x14!
That is a goodbye skate kiss!
Seriosuly whats the point of this kiss. They are just complicating the dumb triangle even more especially because of Something Nice Back Home...i guess it depends on the circumstances. I hate how they PIMP out the stupid Kate kisses. Desmond/Penny kiss..now that is spectacular. Sawyer and Kate..not so much..seen it before.
I dunno, guys, that kiss doesn't look like its on the chopper. I know I know sawyer doesn't make it off the island... but look at the blurry sort of image on the bottom right of that picture... I think our buddy Sawyer might be visiting Kate... in the future! Using whatever power the Orchid has (that Ben probably used to get to Tunisia), I predict that Sawyer will pay a visit to Kate and tell her the things he wants her to do for him... and sharing a kiss just before getting sucked back to the island.
Sawyer, Jack, and Sayid are my favorite characters on this show, they are all at once great and terrible men, capable of tremendous heroism, and despicable acts.

WOW!!!
uhg, guys thats his hair in the bottom of the screen with the kiss.
Does anyone know who says "What did you do!?" at the end of the promo?
Sounded like Locke. I bet Ben effs him over.
Didn't Locke ask that when Ben released Smokey? I'm guessing something happens to Keamy, he is standing next to the helicopter that the 06 get into.
James Ford (I refuse to call him Sawyer now) is kissing her goodbye before he jumps to help them get to safety after the fuel starts to run out. The epic moment of it all is just beyond amazing. I didn't think I could love him more. But I do now.
I've got two #1 favorite characters now - Sawyer and James Ford.
The so called spectacular kiss has been spoiled by ABC? Unless this is not the spec kiss, that's totally lame. Sounds like a consolation prize for skaters because its pretty much goodbye for them now. Kate and Jack are the future.
Not more of the dumb love triangle i hate it. Kate needs to quit being a whore either pick Jack or Sawyer it is getting annoying.
Why is everyone saying that Sawyer has to jump off the helicopter in order for them to get back? It's just "we're losing fuel" "do NOT go back to the island" it doesn't mean they have to ditch someone to get back to the freighter it just means they don't have enough to make it to the island and back so they're going straight there.
I don't see Sawyer taking a suicide dive i personally think it'd be stupid.
Good news though is their is another Jack and Locke showdown. It is too bad that Jack and Locke dont have more scenes together.
I agree with everyone, seems like Sawyer's gonna take a leap out of the heli to lose some weight from the coptor. It also would seem obvious for Hurley to bail weight wise, but it seems pretty cool. I'm not sure about the whole kiss thing, I guess it's spectacular because of the circumstances, but I thought I heard Cuse say it was his favorite moment of the entire show? I don't know about that, but I simply cannot wait for the next 2 weeks to go by.
I think Jack said, "What did you do?" to Locke after he blew up the submarine in Season 3.
If Sawyer really does jump from the heli and die to save the rest of them that would be so awesomely powerful and dramatic. I would miss him, but such a cool way to go!
I would bet then that he is "visiting" Kate in the future in the same way Charlie and Christian are visiting the other O6 members.
That might explain the secret LA shooting that maybe involved Sawyer and Kate.
I don't think he is going to die. He will fall into the water and swim back to shore.
No way are they killing him off.
I just have to say..Episode 10 Kate was engaged to Jack..and that is after this..If she really missed/love Sawyer that much..she would not be with Jack. It makes no sense..I guess the context will tell. Jack breaks up with Kate in episode 10 basically cuz he gets a guilty. I dont know how the writers come up w/ this crap.
I definitely don't see Sawyer dying either. Also, didn't he say sometime this season that he wasn't trying to get off the island? So could his bailing from the helicopter maybe not be heroic?
Although I haven't seen the episode yet, and I haven't read the synopsis Dark posted earlier... I just saw this promo, with no sound (it's 2 am and my family is asleep) and it "sounds" awesome. I'll wait till May 30th, and watch the full 3 hour finale, non-stop.
I'll be a bit stunned if ABC just spoiled something Darlton was hyping up. They never said that there wouldn't be multiple kisses in the finale. That said, ABC hasn't exactly been great at keeping secrets for Darlton, so maybe they did give it away. It wouldn't surprise me, though, if the kiss ended up being, say, Sun and Jin.
I really hope it's Locke in the coffin. I just can't stand the character at all. That said, it seems to be a fringy possibility at best. The only way that could happen is if Locke somehow fails in his mission, and thus, the island needs Jack to go back and save the island. The "What did you do" voice sure sounded like Locke's, and it wouldn't surprise if gullible Locke was fooled again.
Seriously, Sawyer CANNOT die. We lost Charlie last season. This season, it's been Jin, possibly Claire (which I'm still refusing to believe), and now maybe Sawyer, too. What the heck?!? We love this show because we love the characters.
I wouldn't expect mulitple characters to die. And by die, I mean in regards to not seeing them on the show again. What "state" they are in is a debatable notion, but I imagine only 1, perhaps 2, of the characters will forever leave our screens.
For example, Sun really seems to believe Jin is dead. Certainly, he could be, and we'll just have to wait. It is also possible that, perhaps, there's a dynamic that occurs that makes it hard to tell. For example, maybe the boat explodes, but Jin somehow gets off, but just then, the island gets moved. Doesn't seem likely based upon the promos, but it's not impossible.
I think there's only one dead guy. One note is that, the dead guy doesn't necessarily have to be the guy in the coffin. That could be 2 separate incidents for all we know.
Is that Locke saying "what did you do?" at the end?
I hope that's not Jack trying to stop him from moving the island.
Josh Holloway is on Jimmy Kimmel tonight, he pretty much confirmed he won't be dieing, he said something along the lines of "The island is still the main star of the show and I'm the co-star".
We all saw how alone and forlorn Kate was when they touched down in Hawaii. If the events of the promo play out like it looks. That Sawyer heroically sacrifices himself so the others can live by jumping from the chooper but not before giving his beloved a smooch, then it makes total sense that TWO YEARS after the rescue Kate finally moves on and settles for Jack. He's second best and he knows it, judging by the end of SNBH. It's all falling into place.
I am beyond thrilled with the fact that Sawyer and Kate get the spectacular kiss. And so they should. They are an amazing epic couple!
Congratulations to skaters! It will be a great scene! My heart is in pain, but I undestand!
I just need see how Kate kiss Sawyer now and after is so happy with Jack's proposal! She really loves both guys or it all is just a game with us, shippers fans?
When Darlton was on (I think) jimmy Kimmel they said the finale would have multiple kisses, but one would be the most spectacular - and we've been told the kiss will stop space and time - do you really think the most spectacular Lost kiss would be a part of the promo? I will feel cheated if it involves Kate, Sawyer, or Jack.
Seriously cannot wait for Locke to throw down in 2 weeks - I love him.
Oh, and I forgot to add that this scenario makes Kate think Sawyer is dead. Well and truly dead. Another reason why her disastrous hooking up with Jack later doesn't matter.
It's natural for her to eventually want happiness and some form of stability for Aaron.
A male father figure since she can't have Sawyer, well, Jack will fit the bill.
^I toatlly agree with Anne. And chances are if Sawyer jumps, Kate will assume that he is dead. If the island moves "just in time" it could provide him with a safety net.
what if jack is talking on the sat phone to the zodiac? saying not to go back to the island? and since they are running out of fuel they crash in the water and get on the zodaic and thats how they get on.
Man that must suck for Jack. The only shot he has at getting the girl is if the other guy is dead. No wonder he had that massive meltdown. But it makes him look worse that I even thought now. S5 needs to bring some serious redemption for Jack cuz he ain't looking so good right now. And when they go back? Wow! It is going to make the cages in S3 look like a warm up act.
Are we absolutely sure its locke that says "wait till you see what i'm about to do"? the promo goes to graphics, etc for that part. if so, he's also the one yelling "what did you do" at the end. if the 6 leave with lapidus, what happens to him? how the hell does ben get away from the freighters? they had to have tied him up after they knocked him out. does ben say "i would get on that boat right now if i were you" - i guess he's saying it to someone yelling at him that they want to leave the island. and random thought: when ben was telling locke about the "magic box" was that just ben trying to dazzle locke b/c he knows how naive he is or is the box real? is it in the orchid? is it the orchid? & loved seeing the return of the others. i wonder if there were any tailies there with guns pointed at kate & sayid? does anybody besides locke (possibly jack) even know who richard is among the 815ers? & during the press conference there were parts i liked - especially the comment about kate being 6 months pregnant w/no baby bump when she was arrested. But they didn't adequately explain the other plain in the sunda trench. they made it work geographically, but how do they explain all of the seats full and whose corpses are in the 06's seats. if that wasn't hurley in the seat, and there wasn't anyone else that size onboard 815, whos the dead fat guy? i can't wait for the finale theres gonna be so much going on, glad abc let them do this extra hour to set the stage for the actual finale. it would be amazing , genre bending, tv history, the jump the shark moment to end all moments if the island was moved but also moved back in time and all the dead people were back alive. it would be too much for a lot of people, but imagine if that actually happened!
i knew that the kiss would be a skate kiss !!
sawyer on the chopper!!
i think he will go back to the island after jumping off the chopper to save the o6.
Can't wait two weeks !!!!
ok, now i am REALLY curious what happens to sawyer and how come he stays off; we totally should have another poll just for that lol :)
Skate kiss is spectacular kiss ? Is it officially confirmed?
yes sand it was confirmed by ODI
@sand, yes, check put the ODI's website. he has it there
Thanks lyly ford and lost,md !!! I m so happy. I really am. Skate all the way!!!!!!!!
No, it isn't officially confirmed. ABC hasn't exactly been great with promos, but one would imagine that, in the heavy May sweeps buildup, they wouldn't give away something Darlton has hyped so heavily, and I'm starting to think this is a red herring. Just too simple. Furthermore, didn't Darlton already indicate that they wouldn't resolve the triangle anytime soon? Giving such a specatular moment to a part of the triangle really nullifies the impact of said triangle.
The only kiss that I can think of that would stop space and time would be a Desmond and Penny kiss. Was it ever verified whether or not Sonya Walger was in Hawaii? If so, I'm inclined to think it's along those lines.
If not, then it certainly stands to reason that another possibility is an actual off-island kiss. Now, Skate could come back into the picture, but I'm really starting to think the dynamic of Sun and Jin could offer a more dramatic moment. Of all the relationships, thats the one that's developed the most on the island. That's the one where you know there's true love involved. Wouldn't Sun seeing Jin in Seoul and having a spectucular kiss with him, however impacted by the island, be a dramatic moment, based on the buildup we've had? Furthermore, it might motivate her to get together with Jack to try and find a way back ... with the resources she now controls with Paik Industries!
This is Lost after all, and this is May sweeps. It may very well be the expected, but I'm expecting the unexpected. I do expect Jin to do something heroic to ensure that Sun is safe and protected.
Got 2 gripes with the press conference. They didn't explain the corpses: there was no other passenger on 815 (that we know of) that was hurley's size. So if hurley is sitting at the press conference, who is the hugo reyes sized corpse they showed on tv. & if all 324 passengers were accounted for, where did the oceanic 6 sit? were they sitting with the stewardesses or asked to "hang out" in 5 different bathrooms like that guy suing that one airline. & if 8 survived doesn't that mean that 3 people died, as aaron was not yet born? don't get me wrong, i loved the episode, but those questions are driving me nuts!
No, Sawyer can´t die over this and I seroiusly doubt that Kate bekieves he´s dead.
When Jack said in Epi 11 "He choosed to stay" it implied that Sawyers still alive.
Strange though that Jack said "I´m the one who saved you". It looks more like Sawyer is doing that.
wow, so we get the spectacular kiss AND sawyer in hero mode again?? yay!!!! this is gonna be a GREAT finale! even though i havent seen part 1 yet, downloading it now. is it good? :)
While Lost is an ensemble cast, it really is, at the core, a story about one man. It's really a character driven story, viewed through multiple prisms and within different contexts, of Jack's search for redemption. Redemption with his father, redemption in his life, redemption as a leader, redemption to his friends.
At the end of the day, it seems that the most likely course of action is that Jack will achieve his redemption. How and to what extent is what we'll find out. I have a sinking feeling that he'll be the hero, but it'll be others that live happily ever after (of those that remain).
I can't wait for Sunday or whenever dark posts it. Never been the type that could wait when spoilers were available. I'll be curious how things play out. So many multiple possibilities come to mind.
I think it's very likely that Ben is stringing Locke along. Remember Ben applauded Locke for getting Hurley to believe that Hurley was the one that wanted him to stay? It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Locke was a gullible fool again, and that Ben has pulled his strings. Perhaps it's a way for him to reestablish some power.
I hope Nestor Carbonnell can come back full time. I actually somewhat liked Cane, but his character was a joke there. There's so much that could be done with the ageless Richard Alpert. In some respects, I see similarities between Alpert/Ben and Jack/Locke.
Then, there are the individual storylines. I imagine we may get a hint at Adam and Eve. I also want to know what happens with Juliet. It's quite clear that she's very passionate about Jack, and yet, I get this foreboding feeling that her future is not for long, or at least, not as desirable.
Will we see heroic Jin? Michael? so many intriguing possibilities. Can't wait.
You’d place that kiss in the category of "spectacular"? Boy, very lame, more than I expected.
"toonsterwu"....you are a very smart person. You have grasped the story of LOST in a very simple and explanatory way and I agree with you. All these other imaginary explanations, novels, Wizard of Oz, the book Desmond hadn't read yet. Wow, so lame and psychologically destructive for the LOST fan...That’s why they have lost viewers and why they wanted an end date.
i just watched part 1. it was a cry fest!! lol. i'm too emotional, i know. lol. cant wait til sunday!!!!
It does sound like Locke saying "what did you do?". I have to wonder at this point why Locke would take any sort of direction from Ben. He should have followed him.
misindy, I agree. Ben obviously did something. Kate/Sayid may have been captured by Richard because of what Ben signalled him.
Locke's a fool for trusting Ben. The man cannot be trusted. Well, trust a man who shot you and left you in his genocidal burial ground and you kinda get what you deserve.
Im so happy for Skate, because the spectacular kiss!. I think that scene is going to be very emotional!. And lol please i hope Sawyer is not dead!.
Someone can make a transcript, 'cause i have no speakers at work
Thanks so much
OMG! I can't wait!!! The next two weeks I'll go crazy... the finale will be TOO MUCH!!!... Sorry, but I just can't be stop this feeling, it's going to kick all our asses!!!
...can't be stop... XD LOL
Sorry, can't stop...
BTW, I don't know if this was said before, but the one saying: "Just wait until you see what I'm about to do" I think it's Keamy's voice... >_<
ana - i thought so too, but if you watch the 2nd video down it looks like locke is saying it. :)
While Lost is an ensemble cast, it really is, at the core, a story about one man. It's really a character driven story, viewed through multiple prisms and within different contexts, of Jack's search for redemption. Redemption with his father, redemption in his life, redemption as a leader, redemption to his friends.
You're entitled to your opinion, but the show does NOT bear it out. The majority of the episodes this season had nothing to do with Jack. This is the story of all of them searching for redemption - of Locke becoming the island's chosen one, of Desmond reclaiming his lost love, of Sawyer finding his heroic heart. Jack's pathetic little melodrama is quite the least of it, in my opinion. I don't understand why some fans want to see this magnificent panoply of character studies reduced to the banal whining of one pissy little drunk, but to each his own. I think you're in for a rude awakening though.
transscript would be fine ..
@Isabelle
Yep, you're right (haha, I mostly keep to the Dailymotion version XD)... wow, his voice sounds very different! It's like Locke moving his lips but Keamy speaking... WEIRD! I suppose it's just my mind...
I'm not the best at this but seems T.L.A. is not around yet, so here you have it until he comes back ;)
----------------------------------
In two weeks... at 9/8 central, the two hour season finale.
Locke: you know that you're here for a reason... just wait until you see what I'm about to do.
See..
Ben: if I were you, I'd already be on that boat within an hour.
...the Oceanic 6...
Frank: we're losing fuel, cannot go back to the island.
...rescue. The breath taking two hour season finale.
Locke?: what did you do?
LOST. Two weeks from tonight at 9/8 central. Only at ABC.
ana - yeah it does sound exactly like keamy, and not much like locke at all, but i guess it is. its weird...
nicolus - i agree with you. i wish more people could see that this isnt the freaking jack show. if it was, i'd have stopped watching long ago! :)
nicolas returns! Where's faith? :D
Regarding the kiss: Jesus, it's only a kiss, if that's the best bit of the finale then what a let-down it'll turn out to be! Luckily, I seriously doubt that'll anywhere near the top ten best bits :)
thx ana
ana, one small correction to your transcript.
Frank: We're losing fuel. Do not go back to the island.
He must be talking to the freighter.
@Knightrfs
You welcome! I think Ben doesn't use the word "already" exactly, but he says something I can't work out, but no worries, I think the sense is there. XD
Hope that gives you and idea of what they say. I suppose watching this at work without any sound must be like a torture...
uhhh, guys, Sawyer never gets on the chopper. That is the kiss before it takes off.
Thank you, Sockerock! :)
@ J.Maggio
Do you really think so? His hair is kind of blowing in the wind :)
If Sawyer is in the chopper and jumps, then we will know where the rumour of Claire being pushed from the chopper came from (no offence, they are both blond). Could it be a Zoe Bell's stunt?
For me, it's Ben who says: Just wait until you see what I'm about to do.
Jack and Locke scene? Great!
And what am I doing here? I haven't even whatched last night's episode yet :D
Guys, trust me, Sawyer is not in the copter.
Really hoped the kiss was between Des and Penny but logically, I did think it would be Sawyer and Kate. Congrats to their fans :)
Nice to see Jack pointing his gun at someone other than Locke. If I needed any incentive to be any more psyched about this finale, it's this..
"You know that you're here for a reason. Just wait 'til you see what I'm about to do"
Longest. fortnight. ever. :/
T.L.A., you're finally here!
Haha, now you can make the trascription because I know I suck at it, haha XD
Did it only because I felt bad for the people who couldn't hear the audio ;)
"Nice to see Jack pointing his gun at someone other than Locke."
XD LOL... Indeed.
"Longest. fortnight. ever. :/"
Yep, it's going to be hard waiting that long. Looks it will be an awesome finale, very much action driven.
I'm fairly sure that it is Jack that says "Do not go back to the island".
No need to Ana, you nailed it :)
I feel sorry for people who don't watch Lost. I really do.
I don't know. The kiss does not seem spectacul;ar at all, because Kate does not seem wanting to be kissed =)
I think after that Sawyer jumps into the water and swims back ashore.
I don't think that Jack's words in SNBH, "he made his choice. he chose to stay" really match Sawyer jumping off the helicopter in a self-sacrifying act. It seemed to me that was Jack was implying was that Sawyer didn't care enough for Kate as to leave the island. If that is the implication, I think Sawyer chose not to get into that helicpter. And for a logical reason, I think they'll be alone when they kiss.
Regarding the spoiling part. ABC spoiled Kate and Sawyer having sex in I DO, in Catch 22, The Brig and Eggtown. That is: every time. They clearly have a thing for including Kate/Sawyer in the promos, so I'm not surprised. And what Dark wrote at the beginning of this entry kind of comfirms that is indeed the spectacular kiss, even with more things we still don't know.
Btw, Sawyer jumping afterwards wouldn't make the kiss spectacular, in my opinion.
Sawyer is going to jump out of the chopper to conserve fuel consumption (they are running out of gas on the chopper)so he gives Kate one last "spectacular" kiss.
Certainly, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. At the end of the day, though, the one character that is at the core of Lost is Jack. Everyone has their individual storylines, but all of the, when you place it on a board, all, in many ways, revolve around Jack. Even gullible Locke's destiny is intertwined with the Sheperd's, as we've seen. Look at the motivating factor for many of the characters in their events. Desmond's past, Sayid's actions, and so forth.
The show started with Jack, and more than likely, it'll end, in some way or form, being about Jack, whether he's there or not. He is your classic flawed hero, the individual who has to go through trials and tribulations to emerge. Certainly, some don't like the flawed hero concept, and I can understand that.
Look, I'm not saying this show is all about Jack. I'm saying the core story revolves around Jack. It has from day 1, and it will more than likely be dealing with Jack in some form at the end of season 6. I don't know how anyone could really challenge that. It's been made fairly clear.
WTF? How come after 4 years of show, we are debating whether or not the show revolves around Jack??? You didn't realize this before? Jack is the main character of the show, whetether we like or not... Don't you guys remember an interview back in the S1 days, when every single castmember was asked this question "Who do you think is the main character in the show?" And Fox said "No, all of them are the main character", but every single other castmember said "Jack. Jack. Jack.".
I mean, of course the show is quite differente now that it was two or 3 year before, but Jack is still the main character...
I don't like his character one bit, but I know that as long as Lost runs, Jack will be there.
It's like Locke said: "Jack is the main character in the show, AND WE ALL KNOW IT!" (?)
Just for the record, I think:
Frank says "We're losing fuel!"
Jack says "Do NOT go back to the island" (why would Frank say that if he was "driving?" also, it's Jack's usual inflections--also would explain everyone's anger at him and his guilt)
and Locke says "Just wait til you see what I'm about to do" (in the youtube vid, it's better synched) AND "WHAT DID YOU DO?"--maybe Jack shoots out the island-mover-control -panel...or Ben plays him. Again.
Interesting that Ben is telling Jack he should go to the boat--or at least that's what the editing makes it seem like...
And for the poster who says he hopes Locke is in the coffin b.c he doesn't like the character--what makes you think the person in the coffin won't still be a regular over the next two seasons? Even if it is Locke (I'm knocking wood), it's not like you'll be rid of him that easily!
It could be Jack saying "What did you do?!" To Locke after he begins to "move the island." We shall see. Anyways, the Jack/Locke showdown looks great.
thank god there will be atleast 1 more meeting between.........the man of faith that runs from science.........and the man of science that runs from his fate
those two convo's are always the most interesting, john always tells jack what he's not supposed to do. he speaks more freely with jack than he does with anyone else. how much info will be shared b4 jack departs 4ever, or 4 awhile. and how the hell does hurley, jack, kate, sayid, aaron, and sun end up together.
i think lapidus said 2 ppl have to get off, would that be sawyer and jin, does jin die with micheal and the c4 or fall of the chopper.
and will daniel have to ferry everyone back to the island becuz the frieghter is gonna blow and micheal will finish the job he started. although, his job was to kill everyone on the frieghter, not blow up himself alone on the freighter.
2wks, my family will be so pleased they have me back from "the others" i can finally come out and see the sun.
----gone fishin
The so called spectacular kiss has been spoiled by ABC? Unless this is not the spec kiss, that's totally lame. Sounds like a consolation prize for skaters because its pretty much goodbye for them now. Kate and Jack are the future. - Prettyeyes
Kate and Jack are the future? Based on what? Their engagement lasted less than a week, and by the time we get to TTLG - the furthest into the future that we've seen so far - Kate won't return his calls and doesn't want to see him. Then she leaves him in a parking lot in the middle of nowhere, drunk off his ass and raving like a madman about flying on random planes every weekend hoping he crashes.
How much hype did SNBH get before it aired? Virtually none. How much hype has this kiss had? They've been talking about it for months, "they" being Darlton. Damon was the one who called the kiss "spectacular" and Carlton said it's one of his favorite scenes in the series to date.
I don't doubt that the Kate/Sawyer scene will be poignant and powerful, and that it will leave most of the audience hoping for a reunion between them down the line. JMO, of course.
@sonizero--it could be, but I'm pretty familiar with Locke's voice, since I'm somewhat obsessed with him (and Terry O'Quinn)--I'm pretty sure it's Locke. Actually, it sounds like a clip from an earlier episode where he had that line, but I can't job my memory as to which one at the moment. Anyone else have any ideas?
Not that I think they're re-using a clip from another show in the preview (though it has been known to happen), but it could be one of those repeating lines they like so much.
Of course, it's also what Jack said to Locke when he blew up the submarine, but I don't think Jack yelled it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
"How much hype did SNBH get before it aired? Virtually none. How much hype has this kiss had?"
exactly!!!! tptb have been harping on about the kiss for ages, and at every chance they get. its clear to me that they love the sawyer and kate relationship and that hans sawyer ends up with kate in the end. lol. :)
i mean, they could have given jack and kate a spectaculr kiss - but they didnt. they didnt even give to des and penny - who everyone adores.
nope, they gave it to skate. they trusted josh and evie to pull off the spectacular season finale kiss, and they are hyping it up like there no tomorrow. that tells me all i need to know about the triangle. :)
Methosrocks
I disagree with you a lot of people hate the love triangle like me they dont care about the "spectacular kiss" i dont see how spectacular it is. It is kate and sawyer they kiss all the time. Now that that ABC spoiled it its even less spectacular. All i care about is the mystery.
I don’t know if I should believe that Sawyer jumps out the chopper. If he does, there is indeed a good reason for them to think he is dead. And then Jack’s ‘He chose to stay. I am the one who saved you’, would be very strange and also pretty hard stuff to say, even in his drunken state.
I’m sure for some of you, this kiss is spectacular. So enjoy :)
My humble self is absolutely happy and excited to see that there is a Jack/Locke showdown. That’s the way it has to be ;)
And wow...Locke’s ego seems to have experienced quite a boost with being special and all that stuff. He looks very self confident. And he has this crazy little smile on his face...
God I love that!!
"You know that you're here for a reason. Just wait 'til you see what I'm about to do"
Yes John, he knows it. I wish he would listen to you this time ;)
@carly
if there one thing i've noticed on this show is that jack NEVER does what he's supposed to do.
how many times have we seen someone tell jack, "your not supposed to do this"
but he always has to fix things, so maybe he should start taking that advice
@jin-sushi
Jack is stubborn and he is coming from the 'If you want it to be done right, do it by yourself' corner ;)
But you are right he should take some advice from time to time.
He will learn it, I'm sure ;)
Monkstro said... awesome! thank you! Locke telling Jack "just wait until you see what im about to do" = amazing

Yeah, I think Locke finally takes charge.
I found it odd that Jacob told Locke what to do yet Ben was in completely control the entire episode.
I guess Ben was in control to lay out his plan, Locke will take care of everything else.
Anything that involves a 'Ha, I told you so.' from Locke to Jack will be epic. And this looks pretty epic.
I ever tought that Darlton were building an epic love for an epic show, I knew this watching "Confidence man" and we had been watching this awesome couple growing trhough the episodes till now ...I cant imagine a best scene for an spectacular kiss, a goodbye and heroic kiss...Thanks for this Darlton :)
If Ben does double-cross Locke, I'd be willing to bet that wound on his parka-clad arm was caused by a hunter's blade ;)
maybe keamy tell them he has a detonator on him that will blow the boat if he dies but Ben kills him because he killed his daughter, that could explain Locke's "What did you do"
@T.L.A.
"I feel sorry for people who don't watch Lost. I really do."
Yeah, me too! XD... so sorry that I'm always trying to recruit my friends, you know, to put them out of their misery, LOL... maybe they feel I'm like an annoying and pushy evangelist or something, always talking to them about the series and offering them my DVD's...
Surly -
Dunno where I posted it, but I'm assuming you are referencing my post about how I never card for the Locke character and how I hope Locke is the one in the coffin. I'm very aware that whoever is in the coffin and whoever dies are likely to be two distinctly different dynamics. I think, at the end of this season, at most 2, and more than likely, 1, character "dies" - that is, completely leaves the show, and is off the canvas. I'm highly doubtful that said character will be Locke.
We'll find out soon enough from dark, although his comment about being surprised by who is in the coffin is intriguing. Locke would certainly surprise some (although, not me ... but this doesn't have to do with my thoughts on the character, but rather that, if he ever leaves the island, his body could deteriorate). I think Desmond is definitely another possibility, which could lead to a very tragic finale in 2 weeks. Michael in the coffin seems quite unlikely now.
I wonder if the kiss stopping space and time might be Sawyer and Kate at the Orchid. I'm not sure the promo is necessarily definitive about the two of them being in the helicopter when that happens. Perhaps Kate asks him to go, and Sawyer decides against it.
Dunno, this is going to be an interesting weekend. I know I'll be in the group that checks the spoilers when they are up.
Watching the clip again I think I can see Sawyers hair moved by strong wind which makes me believe that they´re infact flying in the copter. If this kiss or something around it is supposed to stop time somehow, could it be that ben moves the island back in time right when sawyer jumps out of the heli? No idea what could happen than, but everything is possible on Lost, aint it? I really want Sawyer to do this, but with a soft landing in the water please ;-)
so my guesses: freighter will blow, somehow sun and aron survive. michael, des and jin die.
freigther blows because ben takes revenge on keamy after he has been rescued by alpert.
alpert, ben and locke move the island to hide it from widmore.
sawyer jumps to allow chopper make it back, stays on island or lands in water.
chopper crashes and non O6 die. abbadon (or how he is called) arrives and stages "rescue" of O6.
some other losties stay on island (rose, bernard, juliette, minors).
BEN IS IN THE COFFIN. jack is desperate because he would need him to get back. ben inside the coffin will travel to the island with jack in season5.
what do you think?
I'm such a pessimist about Locke these days...I'm afraid he's gonna do something terrible at the Orchid that either causes the freighter to blow up or causes some irreparable rift in something orother, intentionally or not, AND end up being the dude in the coffin. I'm sure I could settle my stomach by reading the spoilers, but I've chosen a "different path" this time, lord help me. We'll see if I stick to it!

Whoever dies in the finale (Which, I'll tell you isn't Sawyer or Locke... it's been confirmed about 30 times those two are safe) has nothing at all to do with who is in the coffin.
Remember, the coffin scenario takes place sometime in early 2008 (at least).
No way the body would sit around 3 years. If something happens to someone, it'd be in the future.
If Ben were to die in one of his Widmore chasing escapades, I can't imagine anything less than his body being tossed into water or burned.
However, since we know he doesn't exactly have a family... it's a possibility.

Ok, last comment from me.
First off, That would be insane to kill off all three of those characters. Desmond/Michael will figure out that the interference is caused by whatever will cause the dynomite to blow. Desmond and Michael will diffuse it right at the nick of time (This is hollywood drama we're talking about here!).
If anyone dies it's probably at the orchid I'd imagine.

yes, i understand that the coffin and who dies are two different dynamics. in fact, in that same post that you quoted me on, i noted the exact thing. doesn't diminish the possibility that locke, though, could be the one in the coffin. we'll find out soon enough.
Just correcting myself :)
Ben: if I were you, I'd run to be on that boat within an hour.
Who do you think he's saying this to? Jack?... Keamy?... maybe Sawyer?... Hurley? XD
BTW, Locke looks indeed different. I mean, this promos can be deceiving but he seems to have a completely new attitude, kind of "Benish" XD... Just imagine them working together on the finale... God! I don't know about you but my expectations go bigger everytime.
Now I have to stand strong and avoid spoiling myself. >_<
Obviously they made the promo to make everyone think that Sawyer and Kate kiss before he bails because the chopper is losing fuel.
JACK BOOBS!!! FTW!?!?!
did the island give jack boobs?
watch it again

I think Ben is talking to Jack. In the distance, you can see Locke in the background.
Ben: if I were you, I'd run to be on that boat within an hour.

It looks like he is saying it to Jack but maybe its Hurley. He said he still wants to get off the island and Ben could say it to him like it's "now or never". Jack and Locke are alone when they talk.
Can't wait to see what jack's yelling "what did you do" about, lol.
I'm still not convinced Sawyer is on the chopper. I think they kiss after Sawyer decides to stay.
i can't wait two weeks !!
It's torture.
We already know that sawyer survives the finale because jack confirmed it in something nice back home and it was confirmed by kristin too.
But i want something big for him in that final because there was no centric on him during season four.
i watch the promo again but i do not see sawyer in the chopper. i think he will kiss kate before the helicopter took off
@Toonsterwu and DreamingMelody
Yep, I suppose he's saying it to Jack... and I'm still thinking about those stitches and the fact that Ben is being kind of sarcastic when he says it. I mean, from there, going to the the beach in less than an hour it's quite difficult task, if not impossible... imagine doing that in his state. Maybe Sawyer and Hurley go back to look for Frank so they can pick up Jack in the chopper and leave.
At the end, I think Sawyer will be on the chopper, but seconds before it takes off, he will decide to stay so, he asks her for the favour, which we won't be able to listen (Lost in Translation style XD), and then kisses her... that would make of it quite a dramatic moment.
Jack and co almost certainly believed that everyone on the beach has been evacuated to the boat when they escape in the helicopter and probably don't learn what happened on the freighter until later. I doubt that Jack would leave the Island otherwise. He doesn't realise he failed to keep his promise until it is too late.
I'm guessing that it is someone on the freighter who dies as I don't think we will see what is happening on the beach. At this stage it is looking like Jin. How the other two survive is unclear but we know that Desmond has been seen in L.A.
I'm surprised Jack is actually talking to Locke instead of going back as fast as he can.
I just hope the kiss won't be too cheesy. Maybe he is aksing Kate to stay but she decides to go with Jack.

I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain it's Locke yelling "What did you do", which makes me think that Ben fooled that gullible, well, fool, again.
Desmond is the one at the end screaming "What did you do?"
it sounds like locke to me
