UPDATE: I have just been informed by Dark that his source has confirmed that Mira Furlan is NOT the person Kristin was referring to. They would not confirm who it is, but I guess the folks on that poll are still a possibility. Hopefully we will know soon!!
Here is the latest tidbit from EW's Ausiello about the return of Claire but he also confirms who is NOT returning.
Earlier this week there was a big debate about one character not returning for Season 6 and it seems like Mira Furlan aka Rousseau has turned down the request to return.
Instead we get maybe badass Claire!?

Ausiello: The answer to both of your questions is a resounding yeppers. Better prepare yourself though. My Lost mole says season 6 will showcase “a version of Claire we’ve never seen before — a Rousseau-esque version.” We’ll be in need of a Rousseau fix since the real version will be MIA. According to a Lost insider, the French Lady’s portrayer, Mira Furlan, turned down the show’s request to return for the final season due to a “prior overseas commitment.” Anyone know how you say “big bag-o-nuts” in français?
