Saw this conversation from twitter. Seems to indicate those rumors about Sawyer dying were wrong.

DeannaNMc: @CoraJane81 Was at Manoa Falls, just crew setup when we saw it. JG, MF, JH, EL were on set but I only saw JH&JG. Didn't get to go further.
DeannaNMc: Shockingly fun hike, even with 20lbs of wiggly resistance strapped to me. And my friend got the wink from Sawyer.
